A beautiful river that flows across the Island, it separates the home's from the rest of the Island. There's a bridge built in the middle so the Islanders can get to the other side. The river is filled with many fish, sometimes a stray ocean creature is found!

Heiki walked along the side of the river, not very sure where he was exactly, but at least safer than when he was in the forest. This Island is full of whacked out chicks. He thought letting out a weary sigh. Looking into his reflection, he stared a his face. The rest of his body was full of scars, but luckily his face was unscathed. Just as he was about to turn away he saw something large swim by, and froze staring, a chill running down his back. Unnecessary memories of his journey here on the boat popped in his head making him move a safe distance from the water.

Koharu ran from the garden over to the river. She scanned both sides until she saw a blond boy just ahead, he backed away from the river like he was scared of something. Well, I found him. She thought. What did I think would happen when I did?
"Maru." Taiki growled when he finally caught up to her. He stopped when he noticed her staring at the boy. "He's safe, that's good."
"Be quiet Taiki, I don't want him to hear us." Koharu said walking a safe distance behind the boy. She decided she would be there, just in case he got himself in trouble.
"Just say hello." Taiki instructed and he began pushing her closer with his head.
"Why should I?" Koharu snapped moving out of the way, sending Taiki forward, he collapsed just a inch behind the boy. Koharu froze wondering what to do.

While Heiki was walking, he heard a thud behind him. He froze, pondering whether or not to turn around or run. He slowly reached down and grabbed a few blades of grass then stood back up. He looked over his shoulder and saw in the distance the girl from the cave. Looking down, he saw the white tiger, who was pulling itself from the ground shaking it's large white head. Heiki turned around, clenching his fists. He didn't know why the girl and her tiger was here, but it made him more uneasy than the thing living in the river. "What do you want?" He said firmly, his voice loud enough so the girl could hear him.

Koharu stood still for a minute, then relaxed her body. She crossed her arms then tilted her head, her stare cold. "What make's you think I want anything?" She asked rudely walking closer. "I am simply taking a walk along the riverside, with my friend." Leaning down beside Taiki she placed her hand gently on his head. "Are you okay?" She asked in a soothing gentle voice.
"I'm fine." Taiki growled, then turned his gaze to the boy. "This child is terrified."

Heiki took a few moments assessing the situation. Two things he knew for a fact. One, this girl was a complete nut job, and two, this nut job as a tiger under her command. "Okay then." He said taking a step back, before turning running off.

Koharu stared blankly at the boy who had run away. Yet again she didn't catch his name, yet again she was completely bewildered at what type of person he was. "I give up on people." She finally said with an over dramatic sigh. "For now on, my only friends are animals."
"Give people another chance, they aren't all like that kid." Taiki growled quietly.
"How would you know? I am the only person you met!" Koharu stalked away bitterly, Taiki reluctantly following behind.
"I'm fine." Taiki growled, then turned his gaze to the boy. "This child is terrified."

"Nice meeting you Little Light Guardian." Kagi chuckled. "I am Kagirinai the Shinigami, you can call me Kagi though. It appears mortals have trouble pronouncing the full name and spelling it." Kagi sighed, flicking her hand in the air. "Would you like to help me out? I'm on a mission to find someone by the name of Tomo. Do you know of his where-abouts or his friend, Yuri?"
