Kaida was born in Siberia, Russia in the 1800's and has a younger sister named Kanna. Kaida lost his mother who was a vizard when he was 4 years old, his father who was an arrancar abandoned him and his sister shortly after. 4 years later Kaida died in a winter snow storm when he was 8, and his sister died shortly after. he then lived in the rukongai for many years, relying on theivery in order to get by and feed his sister. while leaving on the streets he was encouraged by his sister to join the shinigami academy, where he met many good friends, including his future best friend, Arisa Kuvarchi. after graduating he joinned squad 10. but shortly after his hollow side awakened and he became a Vizard he was transfered to squad 2.
