(GAH, what is it with subject lines not being long enough?!)
5,100 years ago, Arannis Desrani became several beings at once, alongside himself, one of which - under the name "Arannis Mikero" and a Neko - fell in love with a cat demon known as Lexi. The lesson brought to him from that particular extension of his will was realized only after the Neko's death, and even after a dire confrontation in which he believed her to be dead, she remained, demonic in full, while his twin children suddenly find themselves wrapped up in ancient history, repeated...
Lyrandis walked along a path through a field nearby, carefree, but still alert to an extent. His dagger rested at his belt, holding within the spirit and soul of what would have been Arannis, had he failed in his dire efforts of his entire lifetime.
(That would actually be Sinnara - who is still played by me)

A faint white glow was coming from across the field. Lexi's body was forming inside that glow, has a demon... She was still motion less, has her body was floating there, with shut eyes. ~Wait, Lyrandis... Oh, no. I can't believe this!~
Sinnara's voice resonated telepathically through Lyrandis' mind as she appeared, as only an image, in front of him, facing out at the resurrection.
"What is it, Sinnara?"
Lyrandis looked across the way, still not realizing that it was Lexi who had been reincarnated.
"A look into memory from your father might give recollection to one particular cat demon lady. I've said enough on that..."
"Oh, dear..."

Lyrandis cautiously continued along the road, hands otherwise casually at his sides. Even his father's history wouldn't stop this particular stone-cold hunter. He'd taken on an unusually large portion of Sinnara's would-be history, and wasn't about to back down now.
"Lexi, then, isn't it?" He asked calmly, eyes fixed with anticipation.

Lexi Blinks a couple times, looking at the familiar boy. " Yes...' She spoke softly. Lexi Has a free soul now, so she chooses if she wants to be good or bad. So far, good. Lyrandis shrugged.
"You were close friends with my dad, to put it simply."
Sinnara appeared next to to Lyrandis.
"I thought you were dead, Lexi. What happened to you now? Arannis tried hard enough for your sake, what's this all about?"

Lexi looks at Sinnara. " You tell me. I am just has confused has you. One thing I know, is that I am a demon once again, and my soul is free., I f I even have one, Which I am pretty sure I do......" Lexi replied. She tries to stand, abut almost falls again, seems like she can't gain her balance back yet. Lyrandis held up a hand, and a thin blue line spiraled around it. He frowned.
"Sure enough, you have a soul... detached, but there, which ironically enough means you're still dead, in some way or another."
"At least Arannis won't have to go through this a third time..."

Lyrandis looked to Lexi strangely, then chuckled.
"It's not possession, really. The soul that you have with you is that of Kira, really... but at least she kept up with her promises."

Lyrandis relaxed some, then came over and sat down next to Lexi.
"Then at least for the moment, you've got a friend. It's really not easy, having lived only 3 years and having the memories of five millenia chasing you around."
He chuckled some at the irony, considering he could have easily passed as 22 years old, and was in reality only three.
