Hokay. Yes. Epic first meeting RP of these two, started in July 2010. Yes, they're human. Well. Demons. Close enough =w= Deal with it |D Zelos starts us out.

The air was cooler, this warm summer day felt more spring than summer, as the sun blazed above, and the wind battled the heat lightly on the ground. Abit of a ruckus was caused, by who, well, many people would like to know. "HEY MOTHER F****** GET OUT OF THE WAY HAHA!" Zelos yelled, as he skid by an older man, flipping onto the railing and twirling up a pole as the wheels on his rollerblades spun rapidly, propelling him forward and up unlike more skaters could do, as people yelled and gathered, girls squealing at the hot guy hanging on the flag pole, and older parents calling for the cops as Zelos jumped and landed with an easy breeze, and practically flew past the crowd he had created, lifting up skirts in the process and laughing at the view he got from skating so low to the ground. Too bad most men weren' into cross dressing. "HAHAHA B@ST@RDS! EAT MY F***ING DUST!" He yelled as some angry dads shook their fists and tried to chase the speed demon. "F*** YOU B@ST@RDS HAHA!" He screamed, as he pressed hard down on the rear wheel of his specialized rollerblades, and launched himself into the air at least 50ft, leaping onto building tops and cussing enough to make any sailor walk with shame. It was not until an all to familiar woman's heel met HARD with his head the he was cut off mid way through another "F***" and thrown into building's top, creating a sizable crater as the woman grabbed is by the shirt and another cursing spree echoed, following by a wrestling match dominated by the girl who made Zelos cry "uncle" and sail his white flag. "Taku, Zelos! You ******** b*****d what the ******** are you thinking ******** asking for trouble?! (Taku is like a frustrated sound, or tsk, che, etc)" She hissed, stepping on his pitiful corpse which squeaked in pain as he got up and rubbed his now severely sore backside, and butt. "Hounto kowaii-yo, yariman Tsu-chan. (Really scary, slut Tsu-chan)" "KONO YAROU (You shitehead, s**t, etc)!! YOU F***ING S***HEAD!!" "KUSO O TABERU NA, BUSU BABAA!(Eat s*** you ugly grandma)" "UZAI, KISAMA! KUTABARE!! (Shut up [short version], you [disrespectful manner]! Drop dead or Go to Hell)" WHAM. Zelos whimpered lightly as he rubbed away the blood from his lips. Angry older b***h sister was not fun. "Chikusho.. That hurt, kusobabaa. (oh s**t or s**t, that hurt old fart)" He muttered before he was sent flying again, this time into the NEXT building as he groaned in pain, pressing his arm over his chest which had a sizable gash in it now, which was sealing up instantaneously almost, the blood evaporating. "Oi! You didn't need to pull out the ******** blades on me!" He yelled as his sister stuck up her middle finger at him and then made a very rude hand sign at his manhood with her pinky, laughing as Zelos cursed her to hell and back as she disappeared across the city, her rollerblades taking her as far as she let them as Zelos stood up, thoroughly pissed, though he did open his pants abit to check, before flushing and moving on, growling lightly to himself as he landed on a pole nearby, looking out over the area.

Jiang was, for once, by himself. He'd left Runari and Kaito at home. He thought Julian had been there as well, but his twin tended to keep the cat away from him despite the shaky truce they'd reached. His ears twitched as he thought he heard crashing and yelling from the rooftops above him, but that must have been someone playing their television too loudly. He sighed and walked a little further down the street, now just below where Tsubame was standing. His orange hair blew a bit in the wind and he reached a hand up to smooth it as he paused to get his bearings. He had wanted to go shopping for new toys for himself and for Runari, but his favorite store was closed today, so he'd gone looking for a new one. And had yet to find one. He felt oddly...lost without his twin or their sister and no where specific to go. He didn't like this feeling, and wanted to find something to do...perhaps someone. Looking around him, he glanced at all the women that passed, hazel eyes skipping the men. It was habit. He liked men every once in a while, but it was not acceptable to him that he had those urges. So he would repress them until they nearly over whelmed him.

"YATTAAAAAAA!!! (like YAHOO!!)" Zelos yelped, as he fell from the skies and landed with fiery sparks on the walk, before skidding to an insanely abrupt halt not far from where Jiang stood, glancing at women. Zelos had failed to notice him yet, afterall, he had met his fair share of demons, and with an extreme sportist as a sister, he's been as far as surfing in the Caribbean to sandboarding in Eygpt. again he hadn't failed to attract all the attention from the air, the blue ribbons attached to his pants flailing wildly with his crazy antics as he laughed and stuck his tongue out at the people who stared at him. Attention hog? Yes. Show off? Quite. Enjoying it? Definitely. Another laugh and jump later and Zelos had scaled the 50ft wall, and dangled happily from the flagpole as some girls screamed at him and even the guys looked mildly impressed, though more were grumbling angrily.

Unperturbed by the sudden yell and the fact that suddenly there was a man on rollerblades in front of him, Jiang cut his eyes to Zelos and almost, almost dismissed him out of hand as just the attention hog he was. What caught his attention was just how unscarred his skin was...at least what he could see. Instead of dismissing him, he snorted, a disgusted sound and moved to brush past him. A pretense to get a closer look at the pale man with what seemed like silver hair. As his body responded to the way Zelos looked, and the confidence he exuded, Jiang snarled, a nasty sound meant for himself, but since he was looking at Zelos as he made the noise, it could be seen as directed at him.

Zelos caught the snarl at him by a mile, a feral sound, as two gazes met, amber and hazel. A grin crossed his lips, large, unnatural cannibals showing as he, literally, disappeared frmo his spot on the flagpole, startling the people who had been watching. Without so much as a sound, he reappeared infront of Jiang, his silvery, white blonde hair thrown with the current of the wind he had taken, and with his strange looking rollerblades still on, he was abit taller than the koi fish. Not that it mattered anyway, why would either of them be calculating height? Upon reappearing, it was not even a moment to blink before the bird demon had liplocked with the koi fish, giving him no time to react, think, nor reject, as his pale white lips met with Jiang's, and then parted but seconds later Zelos fingering the tear in the front of his tank that his sister had made earlier, signalling a huge wound had been made, but no scar to leave behind a story. In that sudden glare of light behind where Zelos had reappeared also, perhaps, Jiang would've noticed the broken wings that had appeared ghostly behind the younger boy, as he lept back, landing lightly on the rooftop of the building behind where he had stood before. With a sort of smirk, Zelos rubbed the tip of his thumb against his lower lip, and licked at it, a gesture that could easily be taken as either a challenge, or a mocking 'thanks', considering the event before, before he grinned and laughed, leaping toward the sun once more, the broken wing silouhette reappearing once more before Zelos landed again, gauging the impact of as his daring move to Jiang with but a short amber glance back, a wide grin still upon his face. Oh the joy of starting trouble and challenges.

Jiang blinked and the man on the flagpole was gone. The strict training he'd given himself was the only thing that kept him from looking around for him. Not a moment later, the man reappeared in front of him again. The next thing the koi knew, he felt lips on his. Masculine lips. He growled a warning, but before he could bring his hands up to push him away, Zelos was already gone. This time he couldn't stop himself from looking, and finding him on the rooftop. Fleetingly, he wondered how the man got so high with just rollerblades. He scowled at the gesture Zelos made and watched him as he leapt again, this time noticing the wing silhouette. Hm. Interesting. Catching himself, he growled again and ran a hand roughly through his hair before turning around and heading for home. He could wait to get more knives.

"YOU F****** SHAMELESS B@ST@RD" The snarl rang, as just then Zelos flew past, crashed a long while away, and stood back up groaning, the blood from his new head wound evaporating as he touched it, and presumably, the wound itself sealing as well. "Tsubasa you f****** b****.." He mumbled, glaring at the older girl that suddenly appeared before him again, staring down at him in a way that could make anyone tremble. "What the f*** did I tell you about messing with other people?!" She yelled, grabbing him by the shirt, taller than him even without having rollerblades as Tsubame did. "Who knows if i was being serious or not?" Tsubame retorted, giving a grin before he was thrown back into the floor, and stepped on by the older woman. "Fuzakenda baka-Tsu-kun." She snarled, as Tsubame wrestled her leg off him and rolled to the side, standing up again and rubbing his now sore backside. "F**** off, it's none of your business anyway. I mean afterall," Tsubame reasoned, glancing over at Jiang with a slight grin. "Who wouldn't be interested in one of the legendary demon koi fish princes?" He asked, directing the question at Tsubasa, but looking over at Jiang as he asked it. Tsubasa herself, turned her head to Jiang for moment, before rolling her eyes and letting go of her little brother. "Idiot. The legendary 'White Swallow' striking fancy in a koi prince." She taunted, as Tsubame suddenly became offended and growled under his breath, a low, dark aura rising around him, unnoticable to any humans, but easily presenced around a demon. "Don't f****** call me by that name, 'Black Crane'." He hissed, as Tsubasa rolled her eyes and glared straight back, her own demonic aura rising as the named Black Crane was mentioned. "And you have the right to call me by that? You know, dear brother, that where you are a prince, I am a queen." She grolwed, turning from her brother, and as if to prove it, the gem that sparkled on the clip that held together her braid, was normally worn only by demonic royalty. Then raising her voice, Tsubasa's demonic aura immediately disappeared as she spoke. "Anyway you're just a shameless, dickless a$$hole. I shouldn't bother trying to keep you from being a perverted b@st@rd if that's what you really want~" She practically announced, as the Tsubame's aura just then disappeared, and he cursed after Tsubasa as she pulled off the skateboard she had attached to the ribbons on her shirt, and threw herself on it, blazing down the street laughing as Tsubame twitched in mild anger. "F****** OLD B****!" He yelled after her, as he turned, and the gem on his own braid flickered in the sunlight, matching the one Tsubasa had on hers.

Jiang kept walking, though he couldn't keep himself from smirking as Zelos was berated, and tossed around by a woman. His mood had gone darker since the kiss, angry at himself for being curious, and wanting more. It wasn't until he heard Zelos speaking about the koi princes that he stopped dead in his tracks and turned back around. He knew that their story was famous, that nearly everyone knew at least the gist of it. But what surprised him most was the fact that he had known Jiang was one of them. Unconsciously, he took a step toward Zelos, then another. Again, he stopped when another legend was mentioned, this time in association with the man who had kissed him and the woman who was berating him. His hazel eyes narrowed as he remembered the flash of wing silhouette he had seen. He hadn't put two and two together then, but now he did and cocked his head to the side. Well. This was definitely not what he'd expected to happen today at all.

Zelos growled lightly as he watched his elder sister disappear into the distance faster than he struck fancy. She was always faster than him, even if he could move faster than the human eye could follow, she could move faster than even a demonic eye could follow. And even then, she wasn't even trying. "Kusobabaa.." He mumbled, before he turned and realized Jiang had taken a few steps at him. He blinked in slight confusion, but hissed under his breath. There was no point in denying it. In such heavy sunlight, it was even possible for humans to catch a glimpse of his infamous broken wings, and with demon ears, Jiang surely would've hear their conversation. "F****** b**** mentioning my name." He mumbled to himself before turning to give Jiang a grin. "Well now.. The prince knows.. any questions?" He asked, grinning in his all teasing way, as he kicked back on his rollerblade and skated over casually, the ribbons attached to his pockets never getting in the way of him. "The legend behind the Shiro Tsubame.. Considering who you are, and your reaction, you must've heard right?" He asked, making a stop infront of Jiang. "Yang, or otherwise now known as Jiang, the elder of the koi fish princes, who gave life to one of the most renowned demons in all of Hell, the baby sister Runari who obliterated the second level." He recited, knowing well the story behind Jiang, but somehow also knowing the peices few others could, particularily his new name, and Nari's. "Omoshiroiyo.. I didn't think I'd ever get the chance to kiss him~" He teased, sticking out his tongue playfully.

Jiang barely registered that Tsubasa left, his attention was focused on Zelos. This only served to further blacken his mood as he realized just how curious he was about the demon bird before him. He shouldn't be this interested in a male, even another legend like himself. It made him sick to think he was interested in another male. It's only because he's a demon as well, Jiang told himself in an attempt to soothe his morals. At the mention of his title, he automatically straightened and held his hands behind his back. His long sleeves covered his wrist sheaths; one shake, a slight movement and the knives held there would release and slip into his waiting palms. He scowled as Zelos revealed his knowledge. "Just one," he said, his voice low. "How did you know who I am?" His head tilted to one side slightly, hazel eyes beginning to burn a faint red.

Zelos laughed as Jiang asked him how he knew, nearly falling off his rollerblades, but catching himself in a low spin that morphed into an amused crouch infront of Jiang, amber eyes looking up at the other demon before him. "Funny you should ask." He retorted, before kicking back and flipping back onto his feet, abit away, easily noticing the faint red in Jiang's eyes that could only mean few things in demonic body language. "Afterall, you haven't changed the way you look in so many years." He mused, looking up into the sky, giving a wide grin at the view. "The tale of the koi fish princes, borne from koi and demon blood. How funny.. that the very mother that brought you life.. would happen to be from a very friendly lineage to the omoraki." He told, almost in an ominous manner as his eyes glanced back down at Jiang, though he kept his chin up in the air, and his body language casual. "You know you resemble her well.. save for your hair color, and eyes." He mentioned, turning around, the glare from the sun revealing the wretched sight of his wings again.

Jiang sighed lightly, tired of the tricks Zelos kept pulling, vaguely thinking his siblings would probably enjoy them. He scoffed lightly. As a demon that could live for thousands of years, if not more, as well as someone not prone to making 'lifelong' friends, Jiang had never once thought of changing his appearance. Who would notice? A scowl curled his lips again. His mother. He hadn't thought of, let alone seen her in so long. "My mother..." he murmured. "The only thing my mother ever did for someone other than herself was give birth to myself and my twin and even that was to ensure my father's line survived." He caught the flash of wings again and smirked. "Nice wings."

Zelos skipped about lightly as Jiang mused about his words. It was true, that Zelos had seen both Jiang and Kaito long into the past, long before the White Swallow legend had occurred, and his name renowned all over the world of demons because of it. He didn't really care at the time, he was happy to be who he was, to fly, to conquer the sky as 'his'. "Boku no sora." He hissed lightly at the memory, but returned his attention to Jiang as he spoke about his mother. "How similiar we are in that way~ mothers who never cared." He cooed, as his braid flicked up and Zelos bit down onto the gem that held it together, showing off fangs. He pouted and dropped the braid as his wings were mentioned though, and finally looked down from the skies, glaring passively at Jiang. "Thanks, nice lips by the way, I liked the taste." He taunted, sticking out his tongue in mocking manner.

A light growl rumbled in Jiang's throat. "We are nothing alike," he said, the red in his eyes becoming more solid as his mood blackened further. Why was he even still here? And yet he didn't want to move just now. He wondered what it was that kept him standing there other than idle curiousity. He rolled his eyes as Zelos showed off his fangs. Like Jiang didn't have his own set of sharpened teeth. The gem between his teeth was what intrigued him more. He vaguely remembered he and Kaito being given their own versions of gems like that. He wondered where those gems were now...perhaps Kaito knew. Taking a sharp breath, he brought his thoughts back to the present. A scowl curled his lips at Zelos's last words. "Remember it well, Shiro Tsubame, becuase it won't happen again," he growled, eyes burning even darker red.

Zelos grinned wide as his words began reaching Jiang, the clock ticking slower. "Yea right. And I suppose the f****** sun in your world is made of cheese?" He taunted, enjoying how Jiang's eyes continued to swirl red, his own amber eyes flickering, but not changing color. How familiar those red eyes were. He was one of the few demon's whose eyes didn't change when his demonic side took over. At the rementioning of his name however, Zelos' own lips bit back a low snarl, which quickly became a smirk as the rest of Jiang's words registered. "And who will stop me if i want to happen again?" He asked, before disappearing again and in the same moment as he did, his pale hands covered Jiang's eyes, and he whispered lightly into his ear. "You couldn't, afterall." He taunted, his breath against Jiang's ear as he reappeared behind the male, his braid swinging wildly from the force of wind, his demon's gem glinting in the sunlight.

He narrowed his eyes, wondering what the sun had to do with anything. He realized, perhaps too late, that Zelos was getting a kick out of Jiang's reactions and the koi forced himself to calm, to let his eyes bleed back to their normal hazel. Unfortunately for him, his taunt only served to prod Zelos into action. The koi missed his movement until he felt him behind him, hands over his eyes and breath against his ear. Snarling, Jiang felt his calm evaporating, eyes a vibrant red as he shook his right arm, spilling the knife into his palm. Turning, he aimed for Zelos's throat, meaning to only warn, to press the knife against his flesh and not cut. Yet.

Zelos grinned almost in a mad manner as Jiang snarled, and turned to him. He easily caught the shake of the arm, and before perhaps even Jiang would notice, Zelos had caught it the moment it before it came to touch his flesh, with but two fingers, halting it in place, barely any space between the blade and Zelos' skin. Perhaps it was on purpose he did this too, for he knew the frustration that would come from being held back in such a mocking manner. It would've felt the same as hitting a brick wall with the knife, his simple hold. He had learned well from Tsubasa afterall. A grin met Zelos' lips as he spoke again. "It's so fufilling, being right." He whispered, taunting further, meaning easily to push between the point where Jiang would completely loose it. There was an old saying after all.. anyone who lost their cool in a fight, might as well had lost the fight itself. Against someone like Zelos, the White Swallow, it held all too true.

Jiang could do nothing but stare as his knife was stopped so easily. That was new. He wasn't used to anyone being able to stop him, but he also wasn't used to dealing with other demons. He would have to take that into consideration. It was his own stupid miscalculation, and anger management issues, that had led to his sudden strike. He'd forgotten about the Whire Swallow's ability to move so quickly, faster than Jiang. "Perhaps," he said slowly, again forcing himself to appear calm, though below the surface his blood boiled. He ran a hand over his eyes, never quite letting Zelos out of his sight, though the motion helped him regain control of his eye color. His arm dropped, though his fingers kept a loose hold on the hilt of the knife, ready for any opening he might get.

Zelos grinned lightly, letting the blade drop from his fingers as Jiang attempted to regain his cool. It was a smart move on his part, and perhaps the shock of being stopped and having a formidable opponent for once was the reasoning behind it. "How cute.. your doubts." He murmured, hand swiping quickly at Jiang's wrist, thumb pressing against a fragile nerve hard, accurately enough to make it so that he'd drop the knife from both the pain and the function of the nerve being disabling temporarily, and in the same moment, the White Swallow pressed his lips against Jiang's again, his other hand taking hold of Jiang's free hand to hold him, the incredible strength that Zelos truly posessed showing through how his grip was even stronger than Kaito's. The best part to Zelos about it, was that it was only a fraction of what he could do. The irritation, the fact that this fraction was the majority of what power he had available to him because of Tsubasa's seal.

He was unprepared for the pressure against his wrist, the force making him cry out in pain as the knife slipped from his fingers. Jiang growled again and was about to shake free his second knife when that wrist too was immobilized, the sheath biting into his flesh as Zelos pressed his lips against the koi's again. He bit back another snarl and decided to try another tactic. Instead of fighting against him, Jiang returned his kiss, letting his eyes flutter closed. The worst part, to Jiang, was that he found himself enjoying the kiss, the feeling of Zelos's lips on his.

Zelos could feel Jiang return the kiss, and a lightl amusement coursed through him. He didn't expect this outcome, but hell, what the ******** would he be doing if he wasn't enjoying it full well? He leaned down into the kiss, his rollerblades making him taller than Jiang, by just alittle, though in reality it was Zelos who was shorter. Not that he'd let that be a problem. With a simple movement, Jiang's arms were now held by one hand, more than enough to keep him down, if Kaito could with but one hand afterall, Zelos' newly freed hand reaching up to expertly caress Jiang's chest, feeling agitation Jiang had from enjoying things coming from the bird demon.

'Just a little longer...' he thought to himself, fighting the urge to push him away as he felt a hand on his chest. His face and neck flushed, and though Jiang lied to himself, saying it was from his irritation, his anger at being so easily subdued, when the reality was he was enjoying the kiss perhaps more than he would ever let on. Tentatively, wanting Zelos to think he liked the kiss, that he had nothing planned, he slipped his tongue out, licking lightly at Zelos's lips.

Zelos hadn't been expecting that either, and half of him worked to calculate against it, the other half continuing to simply enjoy the present. It was a good skill of his, another thing he had taken from Tsubasa, to dwelved in both the future and present. He knew better than to expect that there was nothing behind Jiang's cooraporation. The stories he had heard were more than enough to confirm this, but he opened his lips lightly to take in Jiang's tongue, his hand touching Jiang's neck in a pleasing manner.

That wasn't exactly what he wanted, but perhaps... He pulled his tongue back, expecting Zelos to follow with his own. The hand on his neck made his flesh warmer, made his flush deepen. He hated that he was reacting so...positively to Zelos's kiss, his touch. Hated the way the rest of his body reacted. He was unable to stop a low growl from erupting, the sound rumbling against Zelos's hand. He pulled against the hold on his wrists, testing the strength and the hold itself. He'd been able to wriggle out of Kaito's hold once before. Not that he expected Zelos to let him go so easily, since the other demon moved so quickly.

Zelos' hold neither tightened nor let go of Jiang as he pulled, feeling it, but barely registering it. It was insignificant afterall. Zelos' hold at the maximum his power would allow him, even in human form with his seal, could've broken Jiang's wrist as if the bone were hollow tubes of glass. Zelos' tongue reacted lightly on instinct, licking lightly at Jiang's lips, but refusing to enter his own lips, a piece of him knowing the sharpened teeth that lay behind them, that could easily pierce through the delicate flesh. His hand drifted so very gently against Jiang's jawline, caressing the warm flesh, enjoying the feeling of Jiang's burning skin.

Well, that wouldn't work, he thought as he stopped pulling against the hold on his wrists. Still, the demon wasn't doing what Jiang wanted. Fine. He could deal with that, for now while he thought of something else. Lightly, he slipped his tongue back out and met with Zelos's, a light gasp leaving him as he felt a kind of shock. He growled again, and tried to pull away, tired of this game now. "Let me go," he said sharply.

And now boys n girls, we enter into a time skip |D
PostPosted: Sun Oct 17, 2010 2:10 am

During the time skip, Zelos does a few things Jiang would rather he not do, and it triggers a nightmare for him of something bad that happened to him, along the same lines of what Zelos had done. We'll just leave it there, shall we?

After the timeskip...again, Zelos starts.

Zelos stayed silent throughout Jiang's movements, never once reopening his eyes, as if to give the koi the privacy he had deprived him of in the minutes they had spent together. He rolled lightly amoung the bean bags, shuffling them quietly to move them into a comfortable position, to wait for Jiang to sleep. Zelos knew his actions would've confused the koi, perhaps more than even Zelos let on that they would, or could. It was his intention afterall, to break past that annoying stubborn barrier Jiang had set for himself. To perhaps stir a change in the koi fish. Lightly raising his head as Jiang fell asleep, Zelos finally reopened his amber eyes, and rolled to stare at Jiang's back for awhile, not wanting to disturb the koi fish in his sleep. Standing though, once he was sure that the koi had fallen away deeply behind his dreams, Zelos stood, and walked over to the prince, running a hand through his hair lightly, whispering to him. "I'm sorry." Before moving to tuck Jiang into a more comfortable position, and then moving out to the balcony to walk the time sink by, pulling the curtains over abit so the sunlight that would break through wouldn't disturb the sleeping fish upon his sheets. The broken bird stared into the sky longingly, reaching out abit with one hand, before dropping it, and simply staring up, always, staring up. That was Zelos.

Jiang rested easily for a while, perhaps about half an hour, before his nightmare started. It had been so long, years, since he'd had it. The outer signs began small: twitching in his hands and legs, a frown on his face. As his nightmare progressed, the koi began whimpering lightly. "N-no," he murmured, breath beginning to hitch as if he were running. "No, s-stop, p-please," he begged in his sleep. His twitching became more violent, until finally he curled into a ball on his side, covering his head and crying, murmuring Kaito's name over and over.

Zelos quickly noticed the signs of movement coming from his bed, but disregarded them momentarily, too wrapped up in his own thoughts to think too seriously about them as they begun to small. After awhile though, the murmuring broke past the demon bird's thoughts, and he quickly turned his head to the sleeping koi, concern etched across his eyes as the bird demon shut the glass balcony doors behind him, and walked over in quite a hurry, wincing abit as Jiang curled up and began crying, a sort of helpless feel against Zelos' heart. He had experienced nightmares before as well, and they weren't pretty. Kaito.. his twin. Quickly the onmoraki brushing a hand through Jiang's hair, slipping an arm gently around the koi fish as he pulled him nearer, sliding onto the bed with the koi, as worry still dominated Zelos' feelings. With only a short hesitance, Zelos pressing two fingers against Jiang's forehead, shutting his amber eyes, and takign the nightmare as his own, sharing the very same nightmare Jiang had through memory transfer, though Jiang could not notice the invasion, as Zelos became simply an outlooker, unable to influence the nightmare itself, except through his real movements outside the dream.

Stop, stop, stop, please," he begged further, flinching from Zelos's hand on his hair, then whimpering louder, more pitifully as Zelos joined him on the bed. "Don't, don't, please don't," he murmured, curling further in on himself. Moments after he felt fingers against his forehead, Jiang jerked awake and without realizing where he was, he scrambled away from Zelos and off the bed. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" he yelled, not stopping until his back was against the wall. Wide golden yellow eyes stared without really seeing, and Jiang's entire body shook with fear from the memory. Gradually, he remembered where he was and who he was with, eyes slowly fading back to hazel. He glared at Zelos, though the effect was not what he wanted, since there was still a bit of yellow in his eyes and his body still shook despite the fact he had his knees pulled up to his chest and his arms wrapped around them.

Zelos burned at the nightmare that tore past his thoughts, those few moments it took Jiang to jerk awake more than enough to completely experience the shocking taste of the memory and nightmare Jiang had. With the sudden jolt out though, Zelos sprung back and tumbeld out of the bed, ungracefully hitting the floor with a thud as he watched Jiang scramble in the opposite direction, up into the wall, and yell at him, shaking in fear. And it was unforunate for Zelos that understood exactly why. A sad expression crossed over Zelos' eyes and face as Jiang glared at him with remembering the situation, but still shook and held that faint yellow in his eyes. Though Zelos failed to know what it stood for, since the Onmoraki were a race whom eye color changed only with the change from human concious to demonic concious, it was clear from the bright yellow before that it was something that Zelos had helped cause. A part of Zelos' still fragile heart clenched at the guilt, from bringing back the memories he saw, that nightmare, but his hardened outer shell from playing the bad guy for so long kept him from breaking down. He stayed away, backing up abit and pressing himself into the windows that led to the balcony, gazing sadly at Jiang who was on the other side of the room. To anyone, this would've been the strangest behavior. Afterall, Zelos did just violate Jiang, though he took nothing for himself in the process, and yet, somehow the sincerity and the past events justified his sorrowful look. He was a confusing man, that he was, the White Swallow. Defying every stereotype and expectation. "I'm sorry." He mumbled, just loud enough for Jiang to hear. And it was a sincere apology, everything about what he did, how he acted, and the way he looked showing that. With a brief shutting of those amber eyes of his, Zelos moved to step outside, back onto the balcony, feeling the need firstly, to ease Jiang's fear by getting away, and second, for himself, to get back in touch with his sanity, and self control by gazing up, as he always did, into that immpossible sky.

Carefully, he watched Zelos as he stood from falling off the bed. He expected the bird to come closer, but the man across the room hadn't done much that Jiang expected tonight. He calmed, just a bit, as Zelos moved backwards instead of closer. He left the room entirely, backing out onto the balcony. What shocked Jiang the most, out of everything that had happened since he'd met Zelos was his apology. He had meant it. Jiang's breathing paused as he stared hard at Zelos' back, unused to such things. People didn't apologize, not and mean it. At least people he knew didn't, except his family. But they were family, he loved them and would forgive them anything whether they apologized or not. For a long while, he didn't move, barely breathed. Finally, he moved his arms from around his legs and stretched his limbs out slowly. Using his sleeves, he wiped his face and nose, drying them. He stayed sitting for another few moments, before slowly getting up and making his way to the balcony. He stopped in the portal, watching Zelos for a moment before he spoke quietly. "You are not...not what I imagined..." he murmured lightly.

Zelos stayed on the balcony all through the silence that he had put on between him and Jiang. Amber eyes gazed up at the darkening skies, and he stood against the frame of the balcony quietly, his fingers curling around the black fence that kept most people safe from the heights. Tsubasa and him were height freaks afterall. They lived not in a normal mansion, no, their home would be much more likened to a castle with towers, and neither minded those huge stairs they had to install just to let normal people in and up. Zelos' room was in the west tower, the windows facing west, and thus, a perfect view of the sunset and the moon were given to him. He had done a lot of surprising things tonight, he knew, but he'd take whatever came from them. He could hear Jiang move finally, dry his face and get up, follow the path Zelos had taken to the balcony, whom's doors which were basically the windows to his room, were always unlocked, and normally slid open a fraction, just as they were now. He could feel the hazel eyes at his back, as they were for the majority of the silence he and Jiang shared. Zelos hadn't moved much since he had settled against the black fence, and watched the sunset, his panoramic view of the beach and ocean that lay right next door to the castle-like mansion he and Tsubasa lived in contenting him to ignore the need to move. However, upon hearing Jiang speak, Zelos' eyes widened lightly as he comprehended the words, and lips parted in mild shock. Most people he played the bad guy against would overreact, forget about how strange Zelos' actions were, and few understood, or even acknowledged the fact he was different. Jiang was different though.. he seemed to at least, at the very least, realize Zelos was not of inpure intentions. Turning back to meet amber eyes with hazel, his shocked expression bled into a sad smile. "Is that a good thing?" He inquired softly, the ocean breeze passing by and lifting his hair as he turned his back to the view, the sad smile still on his lips as he gave a rather sorrowful chuckle, as if to lighten the mood. He did make any steps or moves toward Jiang, but stared at him, the sunset in the backround darkening the area, and yet somehow Zelos still seemed to shimmer with the upcoming moonlight, and the fading sun. Perhaps it was only natural afterall, the man who destroyed the twin moons to shine in even moonlight.

His jaw tightened a bit as he sighed and crossed his arms over his chest. Was it a good thing? He wasn't quite sure. He didn't answer right away, watching Zelos' hair move in the wind. Catching himself, he stopped looking at him altogether, attention seemingly on the sun as it set, the colors of the sky turning the sand of the beach a soft purple. "It's not good or bad," he murmured lightly, "It just is." His voice was light, quiet, a one hundred eighty degree change from the hard, commanding voice he used with everyone but Runari. Even with his precious little sister, he was never this quiet. "Why am I still here?" he asked, a little louder, beginning to regain that hard tone to his voice, though it was different, still soft.

Zelos waited quietly for Jiang to answer, observing him as he moved, and watched him for abit, before turning to the sunset. Zelos too, turned his amber gaze back to the setting sun as Jiang took abit to answer him, and it was abit surprising to say the least. Not good, nor bad, but it just is. It made Zelos think abit, but what caught his attention more was not the answer, but more, the voice Jiang had used while giving it. He had.. changed from before. His voice was soft, light, much like how Zelos' brash and loud voice had become understanding and sweet. Zelos smiled abit at the answer and the change, and stepped onto the railing of the fence, spreading his arms out as the wind struck him, though he didn't move from the thin fence that he stood upon, quite impressively balanced. "Dunno." He answered Jiang as he questioned why he still was here. "Maybe ebcause I'm your only real ticket out?" He inquired, sorta to himself, and then also to Jiang. He chuckled abit, the delicate, sorrowful air around him slowly becoming more cheerful, as Jiang's voice became hard again. "I can send you home if you want, though, you're going to have to take my hand if you want the quickest way out." He told him, glancing back with his amber eyes as he turned abit on the rail to Jiang, blinking abit in waiting, but with his attention distracted with thoughts and with Jiang, Zelos managed but to trip himself and fall, and unforunately, off the balcony, instead of into it. "Ah, s**t!"

He moved closer to the railing, leaning on it as he listened to Zelos' answer. Gritting his teeth, he sighed again and hung his head low. He didn't want to be near him anymore, but at the same time, he wasn't sure he wanted to leave. He felt awkward, and hated it. It felt like more than just a few hours had passed since he'd been brought here, the prince felt so...different. There was a second of confusion before Jiang realized Zelos had fallen from the balcony. "Stupid!" he said, and without a second thought, Jiang leaned far over the balcony, one hand reaching to catch one of Zelos' hands.

Acting fully upon instinct, Zelos's own hand quickly found Jiang's to keep him from tumbling the steep height from the tower he lived in, wincing abit as gravity struck them and Zelos nearly feared Jiang would fall over with him from the way he leaned over the fencing. Had his feral instincts not taken command of his actions for just that second, Zelos could've easily saved himself, but with the delicate pink that flashed across his pale cheeks upon being saved by Jiang instead, his thoughts about it were erased as he dangled, staring up at Jiang in abit of shock from the save. For a moment, Zelos simply hung there, trying to clear away his thoughts before he blushed again and scrambled to grab hold of anything esle with his freehand to pull himself back up, not really thinking, or really able to think as he did.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Jiang growled at him, gripping the balcony rail harder as gravity caught up with him. Once he was sure he could let go, he reached his other hand down to grab Zelos' and begin to pull him back up over the balcony. "Stupid idiot, standing on a f****** rail like this like you can f****** fly," he grumbled low, speaking without really thinking about the words coming out of his mouth until it was too late. Even then, he didn't let on outwardly that he regretted his words. He kept a scowl on his face, and a growl in his voice.

Zelos pouted abit as Jiang growled at him, still abit flushed and grabbing at the rails, stepping onto the balcony between the fence lines and pulling up, landing back into the balcony as Jiang pulled him over. It was not until he heard Jiang's grumble that he froze, and stared blankly, his normally sad or cheerful amber eyes blank, empty as the cloudless sky above them that was darkening each moment that past. Without a word, Zelos grabbed Jiang by the front of his shirt, the world evaporating under his feet, as blank amber eyes glanced over to the koi, emotionless, and ice dripping from his normally warm voice. "Goodbye." And with that, the black void around them passed, and they reappeared infront of Jiang's home, the hard grip Zelos had on Jiang's shirt released, before the bird demon himself, sunk into black, fading away into the shadows as if he was never there before.

He knew even before Zelos reacted that it was a mistake to say what he did. He didn't make a sound as Zelos grabbed him by the front of his shirt. He half expected him to toss Jiang over the railing himself but as his vision was taken, he realized Zelos wouldn't do that. Seconds later found them in front of the kois' house, Zelos' cold farewell still ringing in his ears as his knees gave out and he fell backwards, landing hard on his a**. He cursed softly, but didn't get up for a full minute as he gathered his thoughts. Part of him wanted to take back what he had said, but his pride refused to allow him to say the words that might do it. Not like it mattered, Zelos was gone now. And just why the hell did he care about that? Entirely confused by the man and feelings that he'd evoked in the koi, Jiang stood, slowly, and made his way into the house and up the stairs, hoping that neither of his siblings noticed his entrance.

Zelos looked over the koi fish silently from his perch on a far far building, his exetremely potent sight from being a bird demon allowing him to see, even beyond the range of Jiang's ability to sense his presence. As confused as the koi was, even Zelos felt his share of confusion at what he was doing. He hated those words, those words that burned his thoughts. He knew he couldn't fly, and his entire body rejected that. Rejected the fact he would never touch the skies, that his flight had been taken from him for good, no matter how true it was. Any mention of his flying and normally Zelos would go brood or cause mayhem to forget, and yet he stood watching the koi fish till he disappeared inside the home. With a sigh, Zelos ran a hand through his hair, sliding off the building, and walking over to the knife that lay abandoned on the sidewalk, picking it up and twirling it abit, before shaking his head, and disappearing once more.
