A cave in a far area of Gensokyo that is the home of the Youkai of Fear, Nahumar.
There is a broken Shrine right outside where he can talk to humans without stepping out.

A young woman approached the shrine and called out "Hello? Fear Youkai? I have come from the village for your help."
Nahumar spoke from his cave in a calm but roaring voice "What does a lone human want with a Youkai like me? I will hear your request but I may not accept it."
The woman placed a picture next to her and said "My husband has been asleep for three days. He can't see me but he can hear my voice-" But an image of a shadow wolf appeared before her to make her stop.
"Your husband will be fine...I had nothing to do with this nor can i do anything about his sleep trance. I am not a Dream Youkai...I am the Death of Dreams. If i was to interfere at all, your husband would surely loose his mind and die in seconds upon opening them....But i have seen his dreams. He is not in any real danger and should be awake when he opens his eyes. Coming here was a waste of your time, human."
The wolf vanished as he yelled "NOW GO!"

The woman picked the picture up asking..."Why do you hate humans so much?"

"I hate no one. My Trust in Humans and others have diminished..."

Nahumar Melted up from the floor of the ruined shrine looking at the human walking away. "I wonder if i should venture out and find a nice meal for once? The last Evil Dream i had was a snack." The jacket he wore was closed around his body with some black miasma smoke coming from the seams.

When the girl looked towards Nahumar, He beamed back at her from afar and called out "I noticed you were looking at me. What do you want with me?" he began to take a few more steps towards the person, his left hand covered in dark miasma.
"Something...is odd about you. You have a scent that i do not know..." His voice sounded a bit cautious.

Nahumar put his hands down and showed no change in emotion. "Nahumar." was his response. He went back to the steps of the broken shrine to sit on them. "And i am picky with dreams. I feed on Nightmares alone. If anything, True Fear is my power and Fear in any form is what i devour." His gaze still on Mizzeri, and aware.

Nahumar stood up and opened his coat a small bit, showing a yellow cat eye. "My trust died many years ago. I only trust the Gap Youkai, Yukari Yakumo. If i was related to her, she would be a 'sister' to me." The eye looked around before narrowing at Mizzeri and turning into a black cat with a weird mist at it's feet. It then changed into a raven to fly on his shoulder before melting into his jacket again. "I can and never will Trust another being."

He closed the jacket once more, his eyes closed. "It's more personal on my part. Regardless, If you do find anyone in a nightmare trance, i only need his location and then my 'Drones' can find it with no problem." The smoke coming from the floor formed into a cat, a Raven, a large spider, and a bat. The eyes were dim unless they find the dream the master wishes to find. "I would also advise to avoid close contact with them. Once they find a host, the dreams are transferred to me and i see if they are worth eating or i may just lessen the fright on them." His words spoke out though the creatures as well as his own.

His face made a weird look at what she said. "That is of no concern to you. I am alone for a reason and alone i shall be forever. Besides, what you are looking at is not my real form. It's something i take that is 'Tolerable' Among many." Nahumar looked halfway at Mizzeri, still no expression.
