Alright I had to make a thread for my favorite organization.
NORML is the National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws. It is a government recognized official, 100% legal group with branches across the country. NORML promotes safe and responsible use of marijuana by adults, and attempts to spread knowledge and information about marijuana and hemp's uses in the world.

I am hoping to start a branch here on the campus of my college (Currently it's a small Facebook group). There are already branches on many campus' across the nation. I discovered NORML through Virginia Tech (the college in my hometown) which has a very large NORML organization.
Check it out, give me your comments.

Cool. I'd join, however, I don't think there's anything like around where I live. *Sigh* How come all the good groups are American?

Thank you I was trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with it. Google a search, or write to the NORML leaders and ask if they have any international affiliates. We need to get this guild soaring. You should give us the code for the small banner in your sig.

My college has NORML on it's campus. I don't go to it because it's the same time that I have Swingers. But it is a very good group. One of the things they are working on is preventing people who have a roommate who smokes from being suspended. They don't want them to have to have that. Which would be a good step.

I'm so used to these groups focusing soley on the US, I've pretty much stopped trying to find the Canadian version of anything. The banner code is now in the Announcement, and if I get a chance, I'll probably make another banner this weekend.

One of the things they are working on is preventing people who have a roommate who smokes from being suspended. They don't want them to have to have that. Which would be a good step. Where do you go to school? That is an awesome step that they are trying to do. Truman State University. They know that they really can't make any improvements on campus without first helping those who do not smoke pot be punished because of the illegalization of pot if their roommate does. At this point of time if marijuana or paraphenallia is found in a room both are automatically expelled. Same with any other type of drug (including alcohol since we are a dry campus).

SSDP is Students for Sensible Drug Policy. Basically it's like Norml for all drugs.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know when DARE started? I'm curious if the people I'm with back home (from 19-mid 30s) all had DARE.
