I went to his awesome second hand store called Talize, about a twenty minute bus ride from my house. I found some awesome stuff there.
A bag with a multitude of expertly done graffiti (pictures AND writing), all in white-out. The creativity of others never ceases to amaze me. - $3.99
Neon Yellow Chuck Taylor Converse (With laces that had been pray painted neon orange) - $4.99
A multicolored material belt to replace my recently trashed awesome neon leather belt - $0.60
A new wallet with an awesome panda on the front - $0.40
And perhaps the best find of ALL TIME....
An original production VHS copy of "Night of the Living Dead",
Which cost me no more than a DOLLAR. That's right. One. ********. Dollar.
Needless to say, I had a good day XD

That is an awesome VHS to have, that is like the time i found a copy of the first VHS Metallica put out (can't remember what it is called right now) for about the same price. MY BEST treasure yet is the audio cassette tape set of Cooking With VINCENT PRICE, i got it for 3 bucks, in perfect condition. I love second-hand stores, thrift shops, consignment shops, etc. You never know what you will find. Lately when i go to them, the main thing i looking for is military clothing, audio-related stuff like microphones (so if i experiment/modify it, i don't feel bad trashing it, cuz i spent like a buck or two), electonic kid's toys (for circuit bending, preferrably anything prior to about mid 90's....less/no surface mount components), etc etc If you ever come across an old Texas Instruments Speak n' spell, or Speak n' math etc, I am looking for one, because those are like the holy grail of circuit bending.

Circuit Bending is something that has actually been done with electronics devices since the 60's (a guy named Reed Ghazala accidently found out how to do it then, and it since has spread into sort of a popularity). Usually it is done on ones that make noise, and basically, with circuit bending, you are trying to cause a short circuit on purpose to get an effect. Like for a noise making toy, it would make a different or interesting sound when you connect two parts of the circuit that aren't normally connected, then you put a switch, pot, or some other type of control device in there so you can trigger that effect when you want, or control how much of the effect happens. It has become a very popular technique among electronics nerds, but it is also popular to use circuit bent "instruments" among some in electronic music and experimental music. If you type circuit bent or circuit bending into youtube you can see alot of neat things people do.

Reed Ghazala actually wrote a book or two about it...I plan on getting them eventually.

I get about 75% of all my clothing from thrift stores. Usually I can find Macgear pants there, they are my favorite brand of pants, and they don't seem to make them anymore.
Oh yeah, once I found a cassette of The Bible, read by James Earl Jones. I was very tempted to buy it, because I've always wanted the bible read to me by Darth Vader, but for some reason I didn't buy it.

Made out of that light comfy material those kind of pants are always made out of. 3nodding I'd post a pic but I'm lazy, plus my house has terrible lighting.
