Okay, this is a cool guild, I don't wanna get kicked out right away, so I'm posting this so I at least fill my post quota.
Okay, has anyone ever wondered what is out there, out in the deepest cosmos of space, if there are more galaxy's in the universe than grains of sand on our planet, and each of those galaxy's has more stars than all the sand on earth, whats out there, and with that many stars, it has to be possible to find life elsewhere.

Well for one I like the fact that you posted SOMETHING..albeit in the wrong forum lol ill move this discussion to the Tavern for off topic discussions but on a on topic note
Yes I've spent many a sleepless night wondering what is out there and I do believe there is life out there maybe not sentient beings like humans but at the least there is one celled organisms and maybe some unicellular organisms but in any of our lifetimes we will never know the answers to any of those questions those are answers that we will get 1000's or so years ahead of our time(saying the earth lasts that long all you 2012 fans ;p)

First post; whoo! When I was younger, thinking of aliens used to scare the ever-livin' out of me, but now, not so much. I mean, even if whatever beings out there were hostile, would it not be at least a little cool to be able to look at a true-to-life alien before it shot you with a laser gun, or whatever weapons they'd have?

I believe that there is life, but in different parts have different physics. And in our galaxy and ones surrounding us, life is somewhat similar to our own.

I believed that for awhile too but you have to think how far away out own planets are away from each other let alone ones we don't know of that COULD host life and how different everything could be if said life did exist((BTW Feroku im SO enjoying captain spot it feels like Karma does exists after everything i've put into this guild :3

Well, you still need to take up your part of the deal.

well, I think it is exceptionally viable for there to be life forms on other planets, and our own scientists are investigating what could be life in small or single celled organisms on some of Jupiters moons as well as Neptune or Uranus, I can't remember which one at the moment.

I for one truely believe that there is life out there. And not just single-celled organisms. Fully evolved and sentient life forms. Think of all the galaxies out there. There is no way that there isn't a sun like ours that makes it possible for life to exist on a planet. And I agree with Kuro on the fact that I doubt that we will ever discover this life. Not for a extremely long time that is.

With over a billion galaxies containing over a billion stars in the part of the universe that we can see, at least one other place should contain life.

Maybe there is. But, I wouldn't dwell on it too much. After all, we don't even know half the secrets of our own planet, let alone the planets in other galaxies.
