What are your thoughts on the ending of Ouran High School Host Club?
Mine? I have to say, it was a great series and I read all eighty three chapters and am waiting for volume 18 so I can read the extras that will fill up the volume along with the special that will be coming up in either LaLaDX or LaLa Special! : ) (LaLaDX and LaLa Special are both side magazines of the magazine LaLa where omakes, specials, and anime/manga news is posted in. LaLa is the run where Shoujo mangas such as Vampire Knight, Ouran High School Host Club, and many others run monthly.)
I loved the open ending it had and I'm glad that Tamaki and Haruhi are (fially) together. I died of laughter when Ranka found out Tamaki was going to America with Haruhi and how he screamed at the plane "Give me back my daughter!". Even more epic, the fan girls' reaction to the word 'daughter'.
"Wait, daughter? So does that mean Haruhi is a girl?" "Well, yeah, we thought you figured it out when you guys said you knew all along." "We meant that we knew Haruhi would look good in girl's clothing. We didn't know she was a girl herself!" And that was when the fan girls panicked! Best freaking ending to a manga ever, with the rest of the Host Club moving in and having them all study abroad! Epic! xD
