700 years ago, Arannis Desrani, the Lone Peacemaker, had a near-confrontation with Lexi, who he had known for years as a neko, and also as himself, before his actions dictated he wipe her memory. Now that it has been returned, Lexi finds herself in a new possession, taking none too kindly to Arannis' former love intervention nor hostility later down the line. The difference is, though, that Lexi has no real choice in the matter, and Arannis does. Can he stand against his once-beloved friend?

Lexi keeps replaying the memories in her head. Over, and over. She was looking for him, Arannis. Lexi was sitting up in a tree, feet hangimg, and was searching the area she was in. Her pale white eyes looked at everything carefully, not missing anything. Lexi sighs, and sets the memory aside, and jumps
off, and lexi searches the perimiter.

Arannis, who had been traveling down the road until he caught sight of Lexi's movement, unaware that it had been her, slowed, but kept going, curious, but uncaring for consequence.

Lexi did not see Arannis, and continyed to walk. Suddenlyshe stops, and stares at the figurecomingher way.

Arannis grew slightly curious, and turned to face the figure who had apparently only just noticed him. He held a hand up in front of him, but the lack of result thereof brought a frown to his face. He took a few steps forward, then suddenly realized who it was.
"Lexi?"

Lexi froze. She just stared at him. " Well, what te hell do you think?" she said with a growl.

Arannis stood there, confused for a moment, then backed slowly away.
"I don't want to have to do this a third time, Lexi... I would rather not have to fight you."

Lexi rolled her eyes. " She. Is. Dead. I. Am. Her. Just. Not. Going. To. Walk. Around. And. Kill. People! " She said slowly. " You already know my soul is linked with her! So when you killed her, I became the new 'Goddess of Death'"

Arannis froze, eyes widening in a mix of terror and shock.
"...Kira? I did that for you, Lexi! I did it because I care!"
Arannis stepped back again, blinking away a tear.
"Why would you go against that so willingly?"

" I didn't I had no other choice, Did I?!? Yes, Thank you for killing her! MY SOUL IS GONE! I am dead! You already knew I was too! So it was either, she kils me, -once and for all- and all of you..or, I become the new damn goddess! I RATHER BE DEAD!" She yelled, wiping Her own eyes. Lexi shakes her head.
