Any good/bad views on the current president of the US?
Personaly I believe he's doing a OKAY job but needs to have the troops pull out of the middle east and need to stop building PERMANENT bases.

I think he's doing okay. I don't like how much 'respect' he shows for religion, but thats more of a minor irritation at this point

He's a very average President. He's only President because he wasn't Bush.
&WaitingForMyDemon; He's already bringing our troops out or Iraq. But we can't leave the Middle East yet, unfortunately. We need to continue our search for bin Laden; American 'forgot' about him when Bush wanted to get revenge of Hussein for his daddy.

I suppose, and yes actually they are pulling out of iraq but they are also building PERMANENT bases and such in the Middle East. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=21119Just one url. (I've read the information in magazines and such given out by my US History Teacher and my Science Teacher) I believe they are building permanent bases in other areas also other then Afghanastan. Yeah I know what you guys mean about Obama. Well it's better then having a ******** republican or a giant tea partier. (I swear if we get a republican in 2012 I'm going to EU (Probably Germany))

I think his respect goes to far, and i might even consider it disrespect. if your not muslim you shouldn't bow to an imam like he has some sort of authority over you, if your not catholic you shouldn't cross yourself when you go into a cathedral, ect. And what he should be doing is upholding secularism regardless of his religion.

I agree.
But one of his flaws is that he had to much attention on our health care too notice much more than he understands

Personally, I'd say Obama's doing pretty good for a president in a time of distress. We've still got a screwed up economy, unemployment at nearly 10% nationally, and fighting a war in Afghanistan. I think he should focus more on things that need to be done NOW, like fixing the unemployment rate, and not on healthcare or other such things. Too liberal, he ought to bite off what he can chew.
