° Ah, why hello, it seems you've made it here with your head intact, no? Welcome to the Nightray estate, a temporary residence of the Nightray household.
° Here, you'll not only learn how to survive and solve the mystery of the head-hunter, a killer who's been lurking around for centuries but also learn a few things from an even more mysterious group called Pandora, who's intentions are unknown.
° Remember, anyone can be enemy or foe, so it's best not to trust people too easily, evn your closest friends. After all, madness is a disease which no one can prevent. Good luck with keeping your sanity! ♥
° Oh, right, almost forgot why we were here! Those of you from Hikari's Diner have been recruited due to your expertise and abilities in order to stop a world famous killer. In this case, it's literally kill or be killed. Now, sleeping accommodations will be prepared for all of you along with food provisions. However, we recommend that you do not linger and go straight to and from work. If you break this rule, well then....he he he!
° We are in need of butlers, servants, and/or maids. It seems that most of our hired help had disappeared when the last head hunter incident had occurred. Below you will see applications forms. (this is for those who aren't in the Hikari's Diner RP but still want to join)

  •Rules• No godmodding, it just ruins the whole point of a group RP. º Rule 2: Romance is allowed, however, keep it down to a minimum. I've seen too many good Rps become ruined due to characters falling in love. º Rule 3: Double posting is allowed, as long as it has something to do with the RP. º Rule 4: Yes, you can kill other characters, but please, message the user and ask if it's okay with them first. •The Nightray dukedom•
(These are a few of the members from the Nightray dukedom. You will interact with them throughout the role play)  (profile for those in Hikari's Diner) Username: AliceofMaidoraHearts Name: Gilbert Nightray Age: stopped aging at 18 Gender: male Sexual Orienation: straight Theme song: Truth by Toriumi Kousuke (Gilbert's voice actor)Job: Customer, member of Nightray dukedom Personality: Gilbert is an easily embarrassed and easily flustered, impatient young man who is quite irritable. Underneath his tough guy act, he's really just a wimp. Bio/History: Gilbert, like Vincent, as also abandoned at a young age and was sold along to the freak show with Vincent. As said in Vincent's bio, they roamed the streets, stealing, lying, and cheating in order to survive, that was at least until they were adopted by Jack Vessalius. (you know this part already) After leaving Abyss, Gilbert was found by Oscar Vessalius, with blood all over his clothing. (most of these things in the bio are manga only, because the anime really changed a lot of the past and/or skipped/ didn't get to it yet) The Vessalius family adopted him, Oscar Vesslius, Oz Vessalius, and Ada Vessalius. But after Oz was sent to Abyss for ten years, Gilbert then moved into the Nightray household after finding out about his brother. Break convinced him to do so, seeing as the Nightray's chain was the Raven, which might have been able to help get Oz out of the Abyss, if Alice wasn't the one who helped him escape. He trained in gunmanship, learning from Xerxes Break, the previous contractor of Albus, the white knight, and the present contractor of Mad Hatter. It took him over a year to perfect his skills, while it only took his younger brother, Vincent, a month or two. He of course, still being young at the time, bragged to this about Break and how his brother was so awesome. As time went by, Gilbert slowly found out what was wrong with Vincent, other than his eye colors and the way he tore up stuffed animals and would gt violent if anyone threw them away or wouldn't buy him new ones. His brother was obsessed with him, but not in that fan girl, fan boy way, but in a way the showed his mind wasn't stable. On Gilbert's first night in the Nightray household, Gilbert walked in on his younger brother (who was thirteen at the time), tearing up stuffed animals in with a pair o scissors. It was then Vincent spotted him and happily ran towards his brother. Yes, that seemed normal, but later that night, Vincent had told him he had been waiting for him, and started calling his name in the darkness, reaching out to Gilbert like a zombie or a mental patient. Gilbert, being the easily frightened child he was, ran and slapped Vincent's hands away from him, bur was stopped at a dead end of the hallway where Vincent caressed (hugged, don't worry, there was no rape) him as if he was a drug of some sort. When they went to sleep that night, Gilbert realized he hated his younger and would glare heavily at Vincent in his sleep. He did eventually learn to accept that's how his brother was, and they soon developed a close relationship, but as they got older, when Gilbert finally made a successful contract with the Nightray chain, Raven, they grew apart. Gilbert went on his own path and focused more on Pandora and saving his precious master, while Vincent was forced to stay behind once again. (time skip because I'm lazy) When Gilbert first met Alice he hated her. He saw her as an alien being invading his master's body, only to kill him in the end once she was done using it. They got in fights of all sorts, with him telling her that she was better off dead and calling her a stupid rabbit, her calling him Seaweed Head in retaliation. Their fights kept getting worse and worse, pillows being thrown, along with insult, Gilbert taking out his gun, Alice taking out he scythe, even using average silverware or no weapons at all to fight. Vincent eventually brainwashed Gilbert into trying to kill Alice, and Gilbert was convinced that was what he should do. Every time he ended up trying to kill her, it would always end up as saving her from something. He just couldn't bring himself to kill someone who looked so human. (also, in the festival chapters (not in the anime, sadly) when Vincent is convincing Gilbert of this and he refuses, it hints that he is developing feelings for her as Vincent asks her if he has feeling for that girl) Time did go by, and they eventually did become better friends. Gilbert patting her on the head whenever she behaved, and actually agreeing on things and not trying to kill each other. However, out of habit, they still call each other stupid rabbit and seaweed head, but still try to call each other by their real names. (Alice now calls him Raven, unless she's pissed at him, and he calls her Alice, unless he's pissed at her) He is the oldest of the Nightrays, but seeing as he and Vincent were adopted, they cannot be heirs so the actual heir is Elliot, who is currently in his second year of high school. He has a deep fear of cats, and when Pandora Hearts takes place (late Victorian era), was 109 years old, Alice only being a few years older than him, but seeing as she stopped aging before him, is usually considered younger. Nicknames: Seaweed Head He Who Never Wears White The Useless Side Character Raven Quick facts: Gilbert is quick to blush and gets embarrassed and nervous very quickly around females, or males, if they say something strange to him. He is also an extremely good cook and always cooks meat for Alice since she's almost always hungry for meat. (how does she stay so skinny?) His height is 182 cm. and in feet is five feet and nine inches tall, while Alice is only 150 cm tall. (woah, short chain girl! O.O)

Personality: he has two sides to his personality, the first a narcissistic, talkative young man, and the second being a dark and unstable, sadistic, and cruel side whom one should be careful of. He is very manipulative and also a master at chess
Bio/History:Born in the 17th century of England, Vincent lived in a time where red eyes were considered a bad omen and to have one was not only a sign of the devil, but also a sign that all hope would be lost and even your most precious things would forever disappear. Because of that belief, his father abandoned him and his mother sold him and his older brother, Gilbert, to a freak show. The two grew up on the streets, stealing, lying, cheating, killing....doing whatever they could to survive, even if it meant tricking members of the noble families. Soon, however, a young man, roughly in his twenties, reached out to the two boys when he found them lying in the streets one day. This man, Jack Vessalius, had adopted the two kids and made Gilbert his valet. Due to Vincent's great admiration for both Jack and his older brother, Gilbert, also wanted to be like his brother and be Jack's valet, too. Thus him calling Jack, "Master" even though Jack kept insisting that he call him "big brother" since he's never had a younger brother before. Both Gilbert and Vincent truly enjoyed it at the Vessalius mansion, even though, back at that point of time, they were only a third rate family of nobles, Jack being a music box craftsman. However, things would soon come to an end quickly when one day, Jack thought he would introduce the two to the girl with the dark hair who resembled Glen Baskerville and Lacie very much, locked away in a tower on the Baskerville residence. This girl's name was Alice, and she was the subject of almost all of Vincent's hatred at the time. At first, he thought nothing of her, a weak, puny girl who was extremely short for her age, despite being older than them.
When they first were introduced to each other, the very first thing she asked him about was his red eye and his gold eye. He didn't really mind it, until a few seconds later if she asked him if he could perform magic with his "devil's eye". Gilbert made a face at her, one he had not made in a long time, and attacked the girl, pulling on her hair, kicking her, threatening her, and much worse. Vincent hated the human Alice for she made Gilbert wear "that" expression again. Not that long after, during an event called the Tragedy of Sablier, hundreds and hundreds of people were killed in that capitol that night, mainly by Vincent himself. He was told by Miranda Barma, that if he wanted to save his older brother from being Glen's next body, he must kill all of the people there to create a type of "magic" that will open up the path to Abyss and stop Glen from proceeding on with the ritual. It worked, he killed many people that night, and possibly, even Alice herself, seeing as he was the most likely suspect for the crime.
(I'm not gonna put the part about Abyss, what he saw there, and the crap he did, because I have an oral report to work on, which is why I'll go straight to his adulthood. Just look him up on the Pandora Hearts wikia if you want to know more about him. )
He is currently the contractor of Yamane (Yamane means sleeping mouse in Japanese), or the chain otherwise known as the Dormouse. He stills hates Alice with a passion, and is still obsessed with his older brother. He is just using Ada and actually hates her, despite the fact that he's in a long-term relationship with her. He said he was doing it because without her, he would not be able to convince Oscar to give him the key to the first seal for Glen's soul. Vincent is also in alliance with the Baskervilles and is a member of Pandora, so it's not sure who he supports since both groups are competing for the same thing, Alice and the Will of Abyss.

He also has a more afraid side, but that's only because of the nightmares he suffers from. Bio/History: A student at Lutwidge that, along with Leo, catches __'s attention as they can play the tune from his pocket watch. He first meets __ in the Latowidge library where they get into a fight over a character in the novel series "Holy Knight" (Elliot spoils the ending for __'s favorite character, Edgar). He also doesn't like Ada calling his name and despises how the Vessalius seem to get away with anything just because they were heroes 100 years ago. Ada, however, thinks he is a nice and dependable person deep down. He is the legitimate heir of the Nightray Dukedom and consequently the brother of the adopted Vincent and Gilbert. He is adept with the sword and keeps a blade with his family crest in a violin case. Elliot has a strong sense of right and wrong and tends to say things without consideration to the other party. It is through this straightforwardness, however, that __ finally overcomes the shadows of his past. He has said that the tune he and Leo were playing was composed by him and is called "Lacie", implying a strong connection between him and ____ ___________. He is also shown to suffer from nightmares, which later on is implied that Eliot possesses some of Glen's memories. After the events where he visited the orphanage for the first time, Elliot hears about a mysterious killer known as the head hunter who in the past was targeting members of his family, also killing his brothers. Upon hearing that there was another murder committed by the same person, he attempts to find the killer himself. His other brother, Claude was killed, his mother left and joined a religious cult, and his sister, Vanessa was beheaded in front of his own eyes. He always brings his sword everywhere with him and is very skilled at musical instruments, especially the piano, seeing as he claimed he wrote Lacie. This is found strange by Gilbert seeing as due to the memories they've seen, it was Glen who wrote Lacie, which is one more connection he and Glen seem to share. It is possible that in the future, he will become Glen's next body.

He too also has a temper, however, it's usually Elliot's that goes first so Leo's not seen angry too many times. Sexual Orientation: unknown (he seems to have interest in neither of the sexes) Job/duty: Elliot's valet Theme song: You Found Me by The FrayBio/history: A boy with dark messy hair and round glasses. He is a student at Latowidge and serves Elliot. He has a calm and collected demeanor and is hardly rattled by anything. Leo is very observant and discovered __'_ identity as an intruder. Despite being Elliot's servant, he doesn't always take his side and will make him apologize if needs be. He is seen with Elliot at Sabrie. Leo carries a gun and is apparently hopeless with it and swords, according to Elliot. He is also from the orphanage and supposedly first arrived there when the head huntings first went on. The orphans from Fionna orphanage are the most likely head-hunters, since they are all illegal contractors and have drank the blood of the Humpty Dumpty chain, more commonly known as the Queen of Hearts, the creature responsible for all the decapitations.
Other: Enjoys reading but strongly dislikes getting disrupted while reading. He is very good at speed reading and playing the piano. He can't handle classes (teachers) that are bad at explaining/teaching the class.

 Gilbert sighed to himself. At the supermarket, he had finally managed to get rid of his younger brother, Vincent, when the strange boy had announced that there was something to buy, so Gilbert had just left the blonde to himself, not even wanting to know what it was that was so important.
A few of the kitchen staff ran up to Gilbert to ask if he wanted them to cook all the ingredients he had bought, but Gilbert shook his head and muttered something quick about how he'd rather do it himself.
"I swear, that stupid rabbit, insisting on always getting the most expensive and lavish foods, I'll ******** kill her one day." He growled, hanging his coat on a nearby rack. Normally, he would have just headed to his apartment out in the city, but because of recent happenings and Pandora, it was decided that they would use one of the spare Nightray estates for the preparations.
He turned his head and heard the familiar ring on an antique phone go off. Groggily, he went to answer it and was frightened to death when he heard the voice.
"S-Sharon? You're picking them up? Listen, I can---WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT.....I'm s-sorry" He quickly hung up the phone, scared immensely by the greatness known as Sharon. How could someone in a thirteen year old's body be so frightening? Maybe it was just his luck that everyone around him happened to be completely and utterly mad. "Right, better make some tea before everyone arrives, or Miss Sharon will surely make today the death of me." He sweat dropped, thinking of his possible future death by paper fan. That was not something he wanted.

She left her home to go to the market on day and she returned to cinders and ashes where her home once was. Roaming the streets, she ended up at the doorstep of the Nightray household where she worked as a gardener and maid, in return they didn’t pay her because she was(looked) underage but they gave her a room to stay in and they gave her the necessities to survive.Appearance: Other: Since Yumi is divided into two bodies, one body is her human form and the other body is her phantom form(looks like a ball of faint white light following her). Both bodies have two different personalities(I don’t think I need to make another profile because they’re both the same person anyways…), but for no confusion, Yumi calls her spirit Myon. When Yumi wants her phantom side a bit stronger than her human side, she swallows Myon(but eventually coughs Myon out instead of making Myon get out through the hard way). Yumi has two swords Roukan-ken is a long sword which can cut through practically anything that is made of matter and Hakurou-ken is a short sword that cuts through confusion.((I'll finish this profile later...))

 Elliot glared at all surrounding him as he propped his sword back into his case. His short, spiky, light brown hair, almost blonde hair, pricked up with anger and his light blue eyes glared daggers at the boy besides him.
Leo propped his thick, huge, glasses back on his head, though they barely be seen behind his long, un-brushed, black hair which hung in his face. He smiled as he turned a page in a damaged book.
"Leo, you b*****d. I'll kill you one day." Elliot growled, turning behind him. Yep, it was the fan girls. Apparently, Leo had posted the address of the temporary home the Nightrays were staying at online, and a chick from their school found it and had posted it to the school website. Yes, the school website. Now, all the fan girls had followed the two as they headed home obsessively.
"It's not my fault. You never said I couldn't post things like that." he turned the next page after turning a corner and going through a secret entrance. "Besides, I gave them the wrong address, the one I posted leads to some bowling alley. Here, if we go through here, they won't know where we went."
Elliot sighed, of course, Leo would do something like this just to trick everyone else. "Fine, whatever short stuff. I want to go home already, away from these retarded prats." Leo ignored the comment about his height (after all, not everyone was as tall as Elliot) and continued on.
After a short while, they reached the new residence.
"Ah, hello, Miss Yumi, how are you?" Leo waved as they went through the garden. Elliot rolled his eyes, causing Leo to bump him in the shoulder. "Be nice, Elliot, say hello."
"Hello." He tucked his hands into his pocket and glared at Leo even some more, who didn't even notice. 'How does he even see through thick glasses like that, let alone read?' Elliot thought to himself.

(oh my god, I just realized your OC is from Touho/IOSYS! xD I freaking love them! <3 -can't believe how long it took to realize that-) "Ah, quite well. Elliot was an idiot as usual and we had to leave school early today because of his misbehavior." Leo smiled, Elliot growling at him.
"I did not! You're the one who threw the desk at the teacher! Oh, yeah, you also ditched class just to head to the library! Father will kill me now!" Elliot bickered, while Leo returned to his book.
"Shhhh! Josephine is in a tight spot right now!" He hushed as he scanned the book.
"Whatever. Hey, Katsuragi, did you hear? Apparently, today there was a head hunter incident at out school. They found the bodies of two girls in the library behind one of the bookshelves. It's getting really bad, the head hunter attacks." Elliot sighed, thinking of the pictures that were published of the two students in the school newspaper. Leo's expression grew solemn and serious, but it was hard to tell exactly what he was thinking seeing his book was covering his mouth and his glasses covered his eyes completely. Leo quickly teared the subject.
"Anyhow, Miss Yumi, nice job on the garden, but I advise you do your inside cleaning duties now. Duke Nightray should be returning home from Pandora Headquarters today and everything needs to be in top shape for his arrival." Leo nodded, before walking off somewhere by himself. Elliot stared at the path Leo walked.
"What's wrong with him? Every time the head hunter gets mentioned he always looks forlorn and always leaves. Whatever, you did a good job, Katsuragi." Elliot gave her a quick smile to show her he was grateful for her work.
