No offense but I think you need to work on your posting presentation. The grammar and spelling was quite hard to comprehend but I got it.

I agree that men see their male gods as superior, and really couldn't think of a woman as a God[ess].
But women have made their comeback anyway. Our female 'sisters' throughout history have fought to bring us our freedom. There are still misogynists in a lot of religions, but we know better than to take them seriously, I say let them live in their man-world. One day they'll need us and we won't be there for them.

Also you must be patient. This is a guild, nowhere near as fast-paced as the general public forums.

The bible is fairly misogynistic, yes, but it gets a few things right. Mary is praised, honoured and revered, but she is not worshipped. This is not because she is a woman, but because she is not Jesus, just the person who brought him into this world, and while Catholics are thankful for that they realise she is not the one who can destroy sin.

Incorrect. While there were multiple goddess figures and female patrons in ancient pantheons, the supreme deity was typically male (or possibly neuter).

The second query I cannot understand. The following part is a struggle against society, not just those with penises. Good men do not speak loudly like their boisterous, big-headed conterparts- they let their actions speak for themselves.

True, we should all be equal. But in that pursuit, we should not attack our brethern mass- we should work with them. 3nodding

alot of female godess' are found n the early pagan type religions, and many men viewed women in this way. women were trreated with a respectible manner, some might go as far as to suggest the same praise as the cats in Egyptian religions.
this also ties in, as Isis is very important female goddess in this religion, having given birth to a very importand 'God' her self.
this1 believes that 'God' couldnt be anything but female, as it is the females who can concieve a child and thus bring them into existence.

females and males should live in harmony, indeed.
although this1 is male, he is very much for women being resotred to equal status.

as for the general view of christians, one man leaps foward from history and claims credit for the destruction of the sacred feminine, and he is constantine. a roman empeoror (sp, sorry this1 isnt that good at general spelling), or in act the roman emperor that converted the roman empire to christianity. although an avid paganist, he i=destoryed the sacred feminine so that christianity could surface as the best religon in the world.

sorry for any wrong information expressed here, any views you found offensive, or anything generaliseations about the sexes or other groups of people, that you didnt like the sound of.

I respect all the gods and godesses. While i'm not too religious i try to keep an open mind when it comes to all religion because who is to say which one is right, and which one is wrong.

The earliest religions were polytheistic. Goddess worship was there along side god worship, and their were many, to be prayed to on different occasions for different reasons.

In early monotheistic traditions, God was considered by the male oriented society as being Male. However, it is argued that God in the Christian sense is essentially sexless. Because, well, what is God going to use a p***s or a v****a for anyway? In a monotheistic tradition, God does not have sex nor needs to expell waste.

I personally cannot define the earliest religion, but I know that before the coming of Monotheistic tradition, it was all many different gods and goddesses, and the Gods were general more revered then Goddesses, as society has always been more male oriented.

Feminists who refer to God as She are as bad as people who refuse the idea of God being a female in my opinion. God is IT to me. And that it is the lifeforce that I choose to Call Mothra.

See, I worship the Goddess Mothra, who is basically my interpretation of whatever metaphysical force that brought us here.

Hail Mothra, Goddess of life, Destroyer of King Ghidorah, feared enemy of Godzilla!
