So, with all the new class changes, what do you guys think of the new patch? I'm disliking the pally nerf, but there have been plenty of QQ threads about that in the WoW forums. I do love that my hunter now gets 25 pets! blaugh As a big time collector of just about anything, this makes me really happy. But with as powerful as mages are right now, it kind of makes me want to roll one for kicks. I have a friend with a mage that killed a rogue with two shots, both 80s.
So what are your thoughts?

I just made a new pally...like 2 weeks ago...it upset me...
Plus the druid tree of life thing is pretty stupid imo as well.

Getting pallies good again will definitely take some work. I've been working on new rotations, but the thing that seems odd is if you put two ret pallies together in a duel, one pve the other pvp, the pve one will win. At least that's been my experience. Though that might just be because the players haven't figured out their moves yet. confused

I enjoy the tree of life change since I hate the tree form. And the new one is definitely different. The Moonkin changes are being QQ'd about by anyone and everyone who isn't a druid.
After being a druid for 6 years, I can safely say that we will be OP until cata launch. Then at 85, we will be begging for buffs like every other Xpac. :/
As for my DK, learning the new rune system is definitely a challenge but I'm enjoying it. Haven't decided if I will be a disease-less DK or not since it wastes runes I need for other things.

Rogues got some Make overs. We lost some Sprint time, gained a self heal, and got a tree Revamped. The Subtlety Tree now gives a group buff, something new for Rogues. Its the "Honor Among Thieves buff, which increases he critical strike chance of all members by five percent. Which is nice. Although I hate how they left Fan of Knives an 80 Talent, but made Bladefury on a thirty second cooldown. The changes are awesome, to an extent.

Ya I changed my mind on the tree of life form. It really is nice after I tried it.
I was just being stupid and looking at the cooldown... xd

My number one issue with the patch is how talents changed. I have one hunter that I had just gotten up to her beast mastery achievement and with the patch changes to talents, I now have about ten levels to go again before I can have it. So I have rare pets that I can't currently use and it annoys me to death.
I also hate the way a few of my spells changed, but for the most part, there are some good things about the patch too. smile

I'm so bummed that they extended the maintenance by 2 more hours. But then again, I expected it completely. Anyone else think the login screen is amazing? XD
So, I rolled a mage on my server, and at level 29 I still get one shot by level 20 rogues >< Which bugs me, and my freaking main is a rogue!
