Hi all!

This is sort of a shameful story to tell but it is to let others know it's never too late. I NEVER paid attention in my math classes throughout middle school and high school. I considered myself bad at math.

Until I got to college, that is when I started learning. Though, I really regret not paying attention in the past because it could have been handy. I think I am starting to like math. It is so much fun.

This year, I am taking my final required math class before I graduate and transfer -- Intermediate Algebra. It is my third time taking it (the past two were sucky professors but the current one is AWESOME!). I hated factoring polynomials (I still think it's a b***h) but Im kind of getting the hang of it. I love dividing polynomials.

Since this is my last year of math, I DONT want to forget any of it. How can I keep going without forgetting? I want to be able to help my younger siblings with their math homework. Should I do self-study and move up as I go?

just practice it every once in a while... I do tutoring, and I don't remember everything I learned. When I forget something I just grab the textbook, and glance at the chapter. And then it all comes back to me, like I never forgot it. Really the best method of remembering something is this forgetting and relearning technique.
