Can anyone say brutal? Lol. On the bright side, the 49ers crappiness is overshadowed by the Giants making it to the NLCS! Wooo!!!

Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

I just got back from Japan the other day, and am still pretty jet lagged from the trip, but maybe as I'm now back in the states I can take a better look at approach to the weekly match ups. Maybe...

Baltimore at New England- Some people say that bringing Deon Branch back to the Patriots will solve the letting Moss go problem, but he hasn't played with Brady for what? 5 years? And being much shorter than Moss I don't think he'll have as big as an immediate impact against Baltimores top ranking defense.
WINNER- BALTIMORE RAVENS

N.Y. Jets at Denver- Denver actually has one of the better offenses in the league, having a home game while the Jets come into town on a short week might give them the edge, but the Jets are one of thee most dominant and dangerous teams in the league. As long as Sanchez continues to play mistake free, they should win this one.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

Dallas at Minnesota- Two teams expected to be Superbowl contenders by many... myself included. The winner will keep their hopes alive for at least another week. The looser will fall to 1-4 and will most likely have the door of being a playoff potential team shut on them. Favre's tendonitus, vs. Dallas's lack of team discipline, what will give in?
WINNER- MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Indianapolis at Washington- If the Colts can fix their defensive woes, they can be included in the same group of AFC elites as the Steelers, Jets, and Ravens. But they cannot win the way they used to just on Peyton Manning's arm alone. And though the Redskins are playing much better than I had anticipated, I think Manning's arm is enough to get them by Washington.
WINNER- INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Tennessee at Jacksonville- Both of these teams are enigma's one minute they look horrible and out of AFC South Division Championship contention, the next they look like Playoff caliber teams. But Tennessee didn't just come off a week where they nearly lost the game and had to mount a comback to beat the woeful Buffalo Bills. I think allowing the Bills that much of a fighting chance shows more signs of being unstable than the Titans.
WINNER- TENNESSEE TITANS

Recap- Ravens, Jets, Vikings, Colts, Titans

The Baltimore Ravens: Ravens are to powerful

The New York Jets: Jets are on fire

The Dallas Cowboys: They suck just as much, but they are younger

The Indianapolis Colts: Redskins can't stop the Manning

The Tennessee Titans: Jags are solid, but not as solid as the Titans can be
