 Starlet shifted on the bench again and tried desperately not to pout and huff. He was late! He'd promised dinner and a movie and he was late? Here she was, right were he'd asked her to be. At the exact right time...hell...ten minuets early even. She was never early! And here he'd made her that nervous that she'd managed it. And now she wanted to cry. But she wouldn't. She wouldn't ruin the pretty coal on her eyes and she wouldn't tear stain the sexy new, short white dress she bought just for him. Just for this date. It was so cute too. And he was missing it. "Idiot.", she puffed out loud and plucked at a fold in her short skirt. "I'm so stupid. Getting all excited. What was a I thinking?" She put her elbows on her knees and her head in her hand and sighed. Ten more minuets. That was all her was getting...before she went to find him to kill him. Now that was a comforting thought so she smiled.

Tugging at the hem of his shirt Zinga fidgeted as he ran, "Oh man. I can't believe I let Able try to help me pick out clothes. He's so slow." He grumbled about the white and black male that was his room mate. This was terrible. The first girl that was really interested in him and he was late. Running a hand over his bare head and brown horns the yellowish orange male moved as quickly as he could to the meeting point. As he neared it Zinga smiled. There she was. And even more beautiful that he remembered. "Hey. Sorry I'm late." He gave an apologetic smile, "So hotness. Do you want to eat first or go to the movie?"

She gave him a look that clearly said 'die'. When he was finally standing before her. It pleased her to see that he was more than a tad flustered and had obviously been running at full tilt. "You had 5 minuets. Before I hunted you down and axe murdered you. I don't buy new clothes for random males who stand me up!" She fumed for another moment, still sitting or she might have had her claws around his throat. "Don't you 'hotness' me. You're going to have to be real cute if you want anything out of me tonight." She stood and graciously, or at least she thought so, handed him her hand. "Dinner please. Something stiff before I rethink this and axe murder you anyway."

He gulped slightly and took her hand. "I was thinking for dinner we'd go to a nice seafood place. For lobster and wine. Unless there was somewhere else you would like to go...." It was obvious he was nervous. And not because of the threats. He really did like her. Not because she had a pair of breasts and walked, but because she was a pretty girl. The last thing he wanted was to tick her off royally.

"I'm going to assume you already have the reservations made so changing on you would be inconvenient. And seafood sounds good. Lead the way." He had her grinning like a devil at the gulp so she was in a better mood. Let him be a tad scared of her. Men needed to know not all women were push overs. "What kind of wine?"

As he walked he focused on getting them there, "They have a large selection but I personally like the snow plum. It is sweet with a slight tart underlying flavor." Every so often he'd steal a glance at her. "I have to say..." he waited a moment, "That outfit looks wonderful on you. Or perhaps you make it look wonderful."

"Mmm. I'll trust your judgment then. It sounds good." And then he had to compliment her...which he should have done earlier...but then she'd been angry. She quite nearly glowed. "Really? It took hours and hours and shop after shop to find. But it had to be perfect. I think I near drove the attendants insane. Oh I've never been that obsessed about a dress before. Always seemed to effortlessly glide into clothes." She shut her mount abruptly after realizing she'd been babbling and had entirely forgotten she was mad at him. "Umm...", was her next lame response.

He grinned slyly, "Effortlessly glide into them eh? Anything you were will look hot on you." And the sweet guy lessons he had got from Able were going down the tubes. Zinga was...well....Zinga after all. "But this one" he gently tugged at the hem of the skirt, "Has to be the best. It shows shows your pretty skin tone and those lovely legs."
