Lyrandis and Terra Desrani have made a rather large show of themselves in their first battle ever - with an Alternus-bound Ryn Kuromaru, no less. After having been saved by none other than the Alternus-version of Derahci Desrani; Siranae, a portal to a place not so far from Barton Town is left behind, and there, she waited.
CAST: (and all Alternus-people other than Sinnara and Ira are recommended to show in purple... for later-explained reasons)
Lyrandis Desrani (Lyrandis Desrani) Terra Desrani (Terra Desrani) Sinnara Desrani (Lyrandis Desrani) Ira Hikami (Terra Desrani) Siranae (temp. role - Derahci) Dark Arannis (Arannis) Dark Eri (Kami of the Divine Light)

"Are you certain about this...?"
Sinnara's voice sounded from the dagger she had bound herself to.
"Absolutely. It's not as if we can't handle ourselves in combat."
Lyrandis came through the portal, narrowing his eyes at the sight of Barton in the distance.

Terra stepped out and looked around carefully, the dagger at the ready.
Ira's voice echoed in the surrounding area.
"Keep your wits about you."

Siranae looked down at the two children below, mentally closing the portal behind them and drifting back and down, allowing herself into view.
"Well, now. I suppose the party should begin, hm? It's been fun, kids, but I think it's time you got out of my way."
She held a hand behind her, and in a massive black explosion, the entire Harkura siblings appeared, but also, Siranae put a hand in front, slightly down, and a pair of small black pillars appeared, the sky taking on an uncanny darkness as they enlarged and vanished, the images of the kids' parents hovering in the air, wings outstretched, just as they were in life, although their appearance was pure black.
An image appeared in the children's minds, of Sinnara and Ira both suddenly chained by a black chain around both wrists and ankles, their entire beings weak suddenly, and sparking tortuously, their cries of pain echoing through their holders' minds.
~Now, what interests me most, children... is that I fully expect you both to make it out of this. I will be waiting.~
Siranae vanished then.

"M-mother...? Father...?"
Lyrandis took a step back, unwilling to accept that he would so soon face his very parents, darkened no less. His eyes turned to Terra.
"Outnumbered, not outmatched...?"

Terra's eyes widened as she took in the sudden appearance of the many opponents, and she turned to look warily at her brother. Her heart began to pound frantically.
"Lyrandis...is this the...alternus?"
She took in the strange appearance of the figures resembling their parents as a swell of anger threatened to overtake her.
"How dare they dishonor them!"

Arannis came down, landing quietly as any shadow, and his gaze turned to Terra.
~We are no such falsehoods, child. I am your father, or a significant portion thereof. Face me, if you dare.~
The words "Face me, if you dare." were easily recognized as the earlier Arannis' most prized threat.

Lyrandis held a hand to the parents, and it glowed a faint blue.
"Sure enough, Terra... these are real...!"
He stood back, taking a defensive stance, his arms coming up across his chest, readying himself in case his sister should find it reasonable to face these darkened parents.

Terra clenched the dagger tightly in her shaking hand, backing up slightly.
"How- How is this possible?"
She brought the dagger up in defense, trying to keep from trembling.

Eri alighted softly and smiled at the two.
"What is the matter, children? Surely you are not having second thoughts so soon."

~Terra... father said that they are a portion... and yet so far as I know, they have done no evil. Something that would have troubled their peace, then... what we face are something of emotional origin... although, physical, it would seem.~
Lyrandis glared harshly at the parents.
"Second thoughts?! You *dare* mock our parents' true natures, and then proceed to accuse us of withdrawing in fear?!"

(By the way, Eri... we're really only inclined to use telepathy, in something of a more... ominous, approach to communication.)
~I care nothing for fear, fool. You stand in my way, and so I will destroy you as I have so many others; without the slightest hint of mercy.~
Arannis put a hand out in front and behind him, turning to the side as he did so, and looking fiercely to Lyrandis.
~Now, enough small talk. Show us what you have so quickly learned.~

~The physical manifestation of emotion...This would be used against us?~
Terra's eyes narrowed.
~What do we need to do, Lyrandis, to put a stop to these monstrosities?~

~What else is there to do, given that they are physical beings? Take my hand... trust me, Terra. You need to know what they are capable of.~
He put his hand out, the other still defensively in front of him, to Terra, putting his borrowed memories of the battles that the original Arannis and Eri had faced with Ryn and siblings.

A sinister smirk made way for a harsh laugh.
~Yes, come. I am anxious to see your powers.~
She let her right hand clench into a fist, a swirl of dark energies spiraling around it.
