Regular streets like any village, covered in snow because of where the village is.
It's definitely a cold place to live.

 Shiki only let off a smile when she wrapped her arm around his own and then she began talking once more. Her favorite food, huh? Well, of course he knew that. He wouldn't be a good mindpicker if he didn't. "Isn't it salmon onigiri? I'm sure there's a place in town that sells it." Shiki said as he scratched his cheek in thought. Yeah, he was certain there was a shop around here that sold them.
As they exited the mansion, it seemed she was feeling better ever since she got some air in her. Good, at least she was starting to feel comfortable, or at least more comfortable. Shiki followed her out with a smile on, watching her walk toward the village. As they neared the village, it seemed people were walking around and doing their daily duties. Good, that meant he didn't have to set anyone straight. Well, he could have always done that later. This village always seemed to run smoothly anyway, he never had problems with it. Grabbing a hold on to Hisoka's hand, Shiki lead her into the village since she had stopped. "C'mon, this way." He said with a smile, leading her toward a small restaurant.
Shiki walked in and looked around. Oddly enough, it wasn't very packed. Shiki wondered if she wanted to actually eat in here or go back to the mansion and eat in front of the fireplace like she had suggested. "Hmm...decisions, decisions...do you wanna eat here or get it to go?" Shiki turned to Hisoka with a quizzical look. Well, it's not like he was hungry, but he could always order something as well.

When she stood in the middle of the path, she was getting funny looks from everyone, it made her the little more frightened, especially without her ninja headband but she knew that she would spark a farce if she wore it. She took the most miniscule footsteps backwards, but was instantly shocked, her eyes snapped to Shiki, since when? Oh she had dozed off slightly that it was possible for anyone to sneak up behind her. A light blush hit her face, when it was her hand he snatched up. Her fingers which were once cold, warmed up in his grasp. He even remembered her favourite food. A smile lit up her face, ignoring the cold winds she followed behind him on light feet. Barking for her to go that way. She noticed how everyone hadn’t even given them a second glance. So he held some power over them. Wow… He sure had changed in the time they had been apart, though there was some nagging doubt that he was hiding something from her. As the further they got into town the sooner they found a restaurant.
Her eyes scanned over the inhabitants of the restaurant, catching eyes with some of them before seeing them shy away. She felt a little uneasy standing there holding Shiki’s hand and watching people be afraid of her. She shook her head and sighed softly. If this was the kind of reaction she was going to get here and the same back at Konoha. She lowered her head a little, dipping into her thoughts briefly, as she did, she subconsciously shifted towards Shiki. Lacing her arms around his one that had been holding onto her hand. She hated being co-dependent but for now, she’d just stay really close for now. Lifting her head when he addressed her about eating here or back at home, she smiled and looked over to him. Her lips in the barest of smiles.
”Ehmm, can we go home, Shiki-kun.. I’m kind of nervous eating out here..”
She wouldn’t tell him the real truth about her fears but, she hoped that he wouldn’t pry. At least not now, even inside her coat she was feeling a little cold. Yeah maybe she could use that excuse that her legs were cold. Yeah…. Bringing up a hand she played with her hair slightly and shivered softly. She hoped to give him the impression that she was cold. Her eyes looked around for any sign of acceptance, though she saw one small child sat alone in the corner of the store with her parents. She was always smiling at her, she felt her heart melt. She even saw her slip out of her seat, much to her parents displeasure. She treaded up carefully to her and tugged at her coat. Releasing her arms from around Shiki, she knelt down and looked the child over, like a school nurse. The child, pressed her palms of her face. A sort of warmth lit up in her face as she gently took a hold of the child’s hands.
Letting go of the child's hands, she immediately found the child hugging her around her neck. Clinging to her as if she was a sister or a long lost relative. Smiling softly she chuckled some, though she knew that the little child had to go back to her parents sooner or later. So doing the only humane thing she slowly got off the ground and carried the little girl over to her mother. The little girl reluctantly let go of her neck and her mother looked somewhat happy, and relieved as if her little child had ran away. She bowed slightly as to show them respect and slowly made her way back to Shiki, but not before she waved at the little girl she had befriended. Once she returned to Shiki, she lifted his hand in hers and laced her fingers within his. She felt a new sort of warmth of at least some acceptance here. Leaning up to Shiki so that she could whisper in his ear, she giggled softly.
”Looks like some people are willing to accept me. Teehee, hey Shiki-kun, you really don’t look that hungry, maybe we can just share what Im having and that would be easier right?”
She had a point right. She wouldn’t force him to have anything if he wasn’t hungry. She was an adapt cook if he wanted something she could just make him something later. Her other hand pulled most of her stray hair from her face and tucked it into her coat. Maybe later she could train herself in her jutsu more. Her final bloodline limit was close to being unlocked. Shiki only smiled slightly when she took a hold of his hand without much complaint. Well, why would she complain? They were friends, right? Well, from what she remembered and what he had planted in her brain, they were indeed friends. She seemed nervous about something by her shaking, or maybe she was just cold. Well, from her words, Shiki summed up that she was more nervous than anything. "Sure..." Was all Shiki said as he went to order her salmon onigiri.
While the man went to go fix it up, Shiki turned to look at Hisoka as a child walked over to her. After a few moments of playful behavior, this child wrapped her in a hug. Shiki watched the scene unfold in a somewhat fake delight, but he said nothing as she took the child back to her mother and father at their table. Shiki sighed a bit as if it were troublesome, but he kept the smile on his face as she made her way back toward him. "Yeah, well, I don't see why people wouldn't accept you." Shiki said as he nodded a bit, feeling her wrap her fingers around his.
As the onigiri arrived, Shiki smiled and paid the man and turned to leave the place with Hisoka. "Yeah, I guess we could share..." Shiki nodded with a chuckle and continued treading through the snow and back toward the mansion.
