For fully three and a half millenia, Arannis Desrani has traveled the planes, as the Celestial prophecy of the Lone Peacemaker so accurately foretold, unable to find peace for any significant length of time at all. His heart grows wearier by the day, his willingness to live, even, fading rapidly, and yet unable to allow himself into death. He fights on, day after day, when suddenly his travels bring him to Trikara, a plane he had not seen before. The world there is almost peaceful. Nature, it seems, is no stranger to this realm. Has he found peace at last? Name: Arannis Desrani Age: 3950 Race: Celestial - Revealed (basically a light-based magic-user that's insanely powerful, but frail as can be) Bio: See above.

(Not bad. Let's get this going XD)
Arannis came through a silver portal, closing it behind him, looking around.
"What...? There was supposed to be... where have I come to?"
He held up a hand, and a transplanar map appeared above it, until he closed it again.
"Trikara, sure enough... am I too late...?"

( Yay! xD ) Rubelia trudged threw the high grasses of a feild not far away from her village. " Why do I have to be on hunting duty today." She complained, keeping an eye out for anything edible to catch. Her pervial vision caught a flash of silver in the nearby forest. She shook her head. " Just a ray of sun, nothing more."

Arannis held a hand up in front of himself, and a faint green glow formed around it, as he turned to where Rubelia was.
"Then again... the least I can do is find out what's going on..."
He headed towards the discovered life force, dispelling the glow as he went.

Rubelia ears twitched by the sound of the grass moving and she turned to face Arannis. Her eyes slanted into a glare.

Arannis stopped suddenly, showing no hostility whatsoever.
"I came at a request, that I have yet to identify the source of... I mean no harm, if harm can, indeed... be avoided."
His last few words there showed almost precisely how much he had despised the trials he had been going through for so long.

Rubelia stood up straighter, looking at Arannis
" I see... Even though I know not of any requests, the village elders probably know something. I'll lead you there"
She made a motion to follow her lead and headed towards the village.

Arannis followed at a safe distance, closing only to avoid losing sight of her.
"Might I ask your name, lady?"

"Arannis Desrani. I... doubt you have heard of my kind. To say there aren't many left would be an overstatement, at this point... though it is a pleasure, being able to come someplace and not face sudden hostility."

Arannis' resulting sigh easily showed his relief at the understanding that hostility might not be expected.
"I wonder, then... why I have been called...?"
Arannis shrugged off his doubts, deciding it would be better to speak with those in higher places about such matters.

Rubelia pushed away a large clump of bushes, and thorns to overlook her village.
" Here we are, the village of Tilana "
she geustured at the large grouping of houses inside trees, perched in the trees' branchs and a select few near a waterfall.
Everyone near the entrance gave a glance towards the entrance, then looked back to their respective jobs.
" It's just that girl. Wonder what the cat dragged in this time. " A worker muttered under his breath.
