Your thoughts on this?
I'm Spanish (if you couldn't tell before), however, I've dated everything BUT Spanish. What can I say? I'm irrestible to every race, mofo cool
I didn't think much thought on this until recently.. I'm interested in a guy who is interested in me... Who is of a different race.
The few times we have hung out... We get stares.
A lot of them. Especially from my kind. confused The worst comment I received was, "Man... she is too hot to be going out with *insert racial comment here*" I don't let it bother me because I'm the type who raises her middle finger at the world. I could tell he felt bad.
Makes me think of what MAYBE to expect in the near future.

But honestly, I've never really had an
issue with it. I've only ever dated people of
a different race than myself, but uh yeah
you totally can't tell what race I am heh.
I just feel like it makes you more of an open minded
person you know?
now, unless you're the type of person who's like
the typical white trash dating a black/hispanic dude for image,
or dating any specific race just for that sole reason basically,
THEN I've got a problem with it.
now, with the whole you 'being too hot for him', is it just
for his skin color, or because he's not pretty?

They were Spanish guys, so they were hating on his color. They always do when they see me with anyone outside my race. Just noticed they're harder more on some than others. I date color-blind. I date for whoever sees me more than a pretty face and have a connection with me. We have this understanding on a deeper level. The arts, philosophy, etc. We are both getting our Art Major and happened to meet in class. In the Art world, we blend right in. In the Real World, I see challenges.

There's nothing wrong with interracial dating, it may be more difficult to do because of, like you said, racism, but also because you may have to learn and adjust to a different cultural background than your own.

I'd like to say you should just ignore other people but I know that's difficult. One of my best friends, who is white, dated a black man for a very long time. They didn't tell anyone for a while because they were ashamed of the comments and looks they would get.
It can be difficult, but it really should not matter.

Ehh I've only ever dated white people (cause they're the only ones who've ever asked me out), but I'm attracted to all races. Everybody's hot in their own way. cool
