I have two dogs: a golden retriever named Bruiser and an Australian red heeler named Hunter.

I got Bruiser 12 years ago, and now he mostly just lies down on my back porch or on my carpet. Unfortunately, he needs to climb down a few steps to get from the porch to the grass, and climbing is getting more difficult for him. He also slides on tiled floors, which only started happening about a year ago. I'm worried about him... cry
Nevertheless, I call him my snuggle puppy because I love to walk over to wherever he's lying and snuggle up with him. He act like it annoys him, but he wants me to come back if I leave. I have a picture of him as a puppy sitting in a frame next to my monitor. heart

I got Hunter about 5 years ago, and he was a rescue puppy. Actually, I got him from the same people who gave me Bruiser. Hunter was with two of his sisters, and my parents almost chose one of them, but I begged them to choose Hunter. He had worms when I first got him, but my dad was able to fix that through medication and vet visits. Hunter was scared when I first brought him home, but I slept next to him for the first couple nights and he warmed up after that.
I call him my woof-woof puppy because when he's behind the safety of my fence, he's always barking at everyone. Take the fence away and he's really timid. He loves to curl up against me, lick my face, and jump up on me. heart
