1/20/06 - New characters have been added to the Feature Character list, as well as new restrictions due to current plot holes.
1/20/06 - sarisa_senshi gets another crazy idea of starting a Gino Gambino role-play and the thread is born!
1. Introduction
Quote: After hearing a suggestion for a Gambino-themed role-play, I decided to open up a thread and give any players their chance to shine. The first round that had followed Gambino after his encounter at the Gaia 2nd Anniversary Ball had been a tremendous success, but with the suspected demise of both him and the Von Helsons, the world of both Gaia and "Isle de Gambino" became silent... But now, with the return of Gino Gambino, the role-play has been started anew! I hope that you'll enjoy this engaging story of Gino Gambino and his adventures in Gaia as the Masque!
arrow The Ground Rules
1. Please keep Out of Character comments out of the thread if necessary. PM people with questions if you have any, or just use the tag (OOC) within the thread.
2. No excessive violence. Spats are okay, but no bloody warfest, okay?
3. No excessive swearing. There might be children present. (Or not.) So remember to be polite and keep it at a PG-13 level or so.

Ian - As it turns out, the results of the trial proved that Ian was innocent. But then tragedy striked. - Therefore, he shall remain unavailable until we see what happens in future storyline updates.
The Easter Bunny, Jack, Santa Claus, etc. - They are strictly holiday icons and will remain unapplicable unless greater interest shows for them to be made available.
ElfTechs - See above.
Johnny K. Gambino - He is currently unavailable due to the fact that no one knows of his whereabouts. He will be made available if he ever becomes involved in the plot once again, however.
The Von Helson Sisters - They are currently unavailable due to the fact that no one knows of their whereabouts. They will be made available if they ever become involved in the plot once again, however.
arrow Original Characters:
1. Provide an image. Help other characters to understand your OC better by first providing a drawing, scan, or avatar of what they should look like. Keep it on the small side to save on thread space. Also, if your current avatar is the look you want your OC to have, then you don't need to list anything.
2. Providing a profile is optional. To help things go smoothly, you can help other characters to understand your OC better by providing a short profile. But this is purely optional and to your discretion. If you feel it will help, then post a short profile before your first pose.
3. Feel free to jump right in! Unlike FCs that have to be apped before being allowed into the streamline RP, as an OC you can jump right in and start playing right away. Just remember to follow the rules like any other players here.

I'll try to respond as quickly as I can and mark off any taken FCs.

2. The Storyline
As two of GAIA's most prominent holiday icons, Santa Claus and Jack, were almost about to bring about their first innocent casualty beside the Elftechs amidst the ruins of S CORP in the heat of a fierce battle, a mysterious figure dropped from the sky and broke the fight apart. He bore a black fedora and cape, and a ornate, crimson-colored mask that hid his identity... Angered but determined, it was his intervention that caused the two holiday icons to finally be brought back to their senses. But one question remained...
Who is this masked man?
At the turn of the year, the mysterious hero was revealed by Cindy at Barton Fountain by one name... the Masque. It was there that he revealed his true intentions... which were to kiss Sasha on New Year's Eve at a masquerade being held at the Gambino Mansion.
As the bell finally tolled on New Year's Eve, the Masque swept down from the sky and fulfilled his stated intention with Sasha, while bitter misfortune met Ian who was arrested under suspicion of arson at the old Gambino Mansion. It was here that the Masque was revealed to be none other than... Gino Gambino!
But is this truly the end of the mysterious Masque and his adventures?

Age: 16
Appearance: She has two looks; the first is what she wears when she is in school- 
The second is what she wears out of school -
Personality: To put it simply; Leon is Leon. If there's something she needs or wants to say, she'll say it, if she's curious about something, chances are, she'll ask about it. She cares about her friends, and loved ones. Although, she can come off as shy and somewhat cold, because she finds it difficult to come out of her shell completely.
