Arannis Desrani, under the guise of "Arannis Tsieta", finds himself wandering the planes surrounding Trinity, in a struggle to unite the worlds once more in some semblance of peace, and to strike at the heart of seemingly all evil; Borros-Ainrael, ruler of Infernus. Kanen was in a old chapel. It once belonged to a long forgotten race known as the fallen ones.He is one of few descendants of his kind. He knelt in meditation as he gazed at the old runic scriptures.

(Accepted, Ryn... of course, Eri and I are going to hate the fact in-character, but meh, can't complain)

Arannis stood at the once-glorious gates of Marian, in Entropy's underground network of caves. A failed effort to be rid of an unexpected aggressor suddenly gone so wrong, and the entire city wiped of life and form.

"Why is it always me...? Will anything good ever come of this?"

He then walked around the chapel. It looked as if this place hasn't been inhabited for thousands of years. He then entered the archive. Most of the books were destroyed but he managed to find some scrolls preserved in a box witch seemed to be in good condition.

(Dang it, Kanen. I really don't like how passive posting keeps coming up. Bleh...)

Arannis looked again at the carnage of Marian, and decided that even regardless of his failed efforts, there was indeed still hope. He threw his arm to the ground, igniting a bright beacon to his most trusted companions, and with it, a message.

Kanen then turned around as he was startled by a bright light. A hole in the ceiling revealed a beam of light shooting upwards:"Wait this seems familiar....".He then quickly remembered a scene from a long time ago.He had seen this before it was a beacon....a friendly beacon:"Could It be....I guess I will have to find out." He grabbed the scrolls and entered his shadow form witch allowed him to walk into the shadow realm. He tor open a dark hole and appeared from the other side.He then recognized a familiar face.It was Arannis.

Arannis blinked away the tears from having to rely on his friends in a struggle that honestly should never have been theirs.

"Kanen, thank you... I wonder if any of the others will arrive, as well."

Kanen smiled and said :"Arannis what...brings you...here".His smile quickly faded along with his unfinished sentence as he watched in horror. The Land was completely destroyed:"Gods have mercy....what happened ".

The worry was clearly evident in Arannis' eyes.

"I would have died, had it not been for what I had to do... the entire city, the one beacon of hope in all of Entropy... gone, between the structural damage I caused and the lives taken by those attacking me."

Kanen turned and faced the ruins and rubble once known as a city:"Who could have done this".He asks clenching his fist.

Arannis bit his lip.

"...I had no choice, Kanen. The fact that he was driven away for the moment spares me my life, while the entire city fell relentlessly in my efforts to take him down."

Adaylia was trying not to scream out loud as the pain welled up inside of her head. She needed to get back to the surface, but she also couldn't leave her friends. "I can't be alone again..." she whispered.

"Kanen, please understand this much... I don't even know the origins of this particular aggressor, but something strange, still, about him, strikes me as intensely odd. I feel as if I knew him in some other life, if only for a moment... but I cannot explain it..."

He turned to the city ruins, and began to walk to the market where Adalyia had been seen last.
