The entire world has become a single thing. There is no longer a hate of race. There is no longer a hate of sex or religion. There is only one hate. And it is what the world has become. Years before a cure for blood diseases was finally discovered not just a single disease either. The enzyme that was created cleared all blood of its defects. It pushed out fats from arteries and dissolved blood clots. It ate aids it devoured cancer anything and everything within the blood. Thus creating the vampiric plague. The enzyme became apart of the blood it needed the diseases or it would start devouring the host body. Teeth became elongated with suction cups the size of microscopic holes in the teeth. Taking the blood into the system of the body to clean it of the diseases in order to feed the enzyme. But the world adapted and changed making literally disease ridden blood drinks to change the world into a world of vampires. The drinks soon had to be made into synthetic bloods as no more humans existed after the enzyme became air born. Children could never grow up. People who were old and decrepit stayed that way they didn't become better they just stayed the same to weak to become active but immortal to all things but the sun and thus killed themselves. The elderly were the first to seek death and the government had to put out armies of soldiers to stop the mass suicides. But as much as immortality appealed to some and those who it appealed to they lived a life of night after night at parties and indulgence without fear of dying from the sins and indulgences that mortals have incalculable fears of. But with the loss of fear of death came the loss of the fear of life. With the loss of fear came the loss of life's luster and thus the will to keep on living. But the government had to protect its people but as they tried to stop the people from seeking the end of their immortality a war an uncontrollable war for the right to end their own miserable immortal lives. The people fought for their right to die.
Most would think this is easy. But do to the inability to feel pain as humans used to a vampire can survive anything but the sun. No stake through the heart, no garlic, no silver, no crosses. Believe me they have tried. The governments created domes to protect the people from the sun and all the dawn's want nothing more than to blow the domes to pieces.

11. I didn't know I needed to state this but no light powers or light like powers or holy type powers. Vampires and light don't mix.

“please do come again, I enjoyed your participation tonight.” Voices filled her mind as they cheered or spoke softly about that night’s performance. They were all happy to see her and enjoyed listening to her no matter what it was she was doing, singing, acting, playing. It was had not to like her because if she felt the mood of the room changing she could balance out the negative power with her own power. Not that she had to, she just had the option to. She gave a final bow before turning and exiting the stage. People filed out and soon she was alone behind the stage with her own people.

“ Miss Yuvani, the preparations for dinner have been made. Those items you asked for are in your room, and the nine o clock has been moved to ten.” The woman nodded and cast her pale purple eyes to the voice that spoke to her.

“thank you Crave. Now I ask you relay this message up. Nightengale is going to sing tonight.” the room grew silent but a harsh look towards where the man was standing caused the room to shiver.

“yes mam” he left the room and once on the other side he shivered again “how does she do that? Isn’t she suppose to be blind? But she knows where we stand” Sensitive ears twitched and the violent haired woman tilted her head to the side.

“don’t think to hard on it man, it will only get you killed.” And they were gone. The woman sighed and went about her business, tiding up and getting ready to go home. It was funny really, she was blind but she could see clearer than any person who was not. Those people out there wished for death, but why? She could not understand who would want to give up a life where they could continue to grow as people, even if they had to bear the curse of no sun. She had never seen the sun so she could care less about it.

“get Him! Stop! How can you miss him! He’s just short, not all that surprising.” Street fighting, the small creature had resorted to such as a way to gather information. It was easy enough for her to see through people, the way she wore her clothing made it seem as if she was just extremely short, after all no one had changed after the enzyme. But if they saw her face they would know she was only a “child” or in the body of one. They would never guess she was not a boy though, not unless she told them. There was another kick and she dodged, swinging her leg around to trip the male then standing tall and pulling her arm back.

“admit defeat and you will not suffer.” The male looked up at her and nodded. She put her arm down and let out a little sigh. “weak…” She turned her back to the men. Across the back of the yellow hoodie was a rather large black X. Her name, or well the name of who she had become. She shoved her hands into her pockets and turned her attention to the sky, or what would have been the sky. She had not seen the sky in a long time. They had built those things to protect the people from the sun. but people like her, children who never aged, a never ending never land that she didn’t want to know anymore. It was sad, but true.

X fought to die. The man climbed to his feet “you midget, You think you can waltz in here, demand information then walk out? I don’t care what your reputation says, X is nothing more than a short creature who hides from the world.” He lifted his hand and ran at the shorter person. X didn’t turn, she didn’t even flinch.

“pitiful. You are years to late to compete with me.” As the man’s fist connected with the back of her head it froze, ice crystals formed over the hand and twisted up his arm. He pulled back but it was to late. The shorter creature spun, lifting her foot into the air and slamming it into the frozen appendage. As things do, the arm shattered as her foot reached the ground. Hands still in her pockets she turned and walked out without a worry for no one else dared to attack X.

As X left the people she held a small piece of paper. On it were written a few words and an address. She committed the information to memory and tore the paper in pieces. She had a mission now. If she could get in contact with this person then she was sure they could put up a better fight. She turned and veered into the back entrance of a store. A tall man was behind a counter talking with two women who were eying jewelry. X walked over to the male and tugged on his pants. Papa?” The women looked down and awed at the child who would never grow and eventually left. The older man lifted his hand and removed a small vial from under the counter. He handed it to the child and chuckled.

”when did we decide on that code name again?”

“about forty years ago when you insisted on calling me a chibi.” the male laughed and she gave a bit of a nod before leaving the store. Ahead of her was a long trek, through the security systems of a large building. When she was on the inside she walked about, looking at the various floors and of course examining the interior. Her hood remained up, hiding her face from the world. Only the big black letter X on the back of her hoodie, gave away her identity as a rebel leader. She made her way down to the cells and glanced around till she found the information she was looking for. Down two more floors she found the very person she wanted.

Two guards stood before the entrance. They held up their weapons, little red dots appearing on her forehead and over her heart. “under who’s authorization are you here?” they demanded the information from her but she only laughed. The sound of her voice, so childlike could send shivers down the spine of even the strongest men.

“ My own” She reached up, opening her hands in a ‘I give up’ fashion. But from her hand fell the glass vial that “papa” had given to her. It shattered on the floor and the contents spilled, making a big wet stain on the floor below. She tilted her head and the water shot at the two people, turning into ice chunks and nailing them to the wall. Such a little water could go a long way because as it stuck them to the wall, it collected their sweat and used it to trap them as well. They began to shout but her ice covered them so completely that she could only smile when their screams were muffled.

She took the keys from one of the guards and unlocked the door. Once discarding the keys and retrieving a bit of the ice, she entered the bright room. Immediately she split the ice chunk into tiny pellet sized balls. She shot these into the cameras and lights, turning the room pitch black. “as much as I’m sure you enjoy your little vacation, we would like your help on the out side.

X tilted her head to the side as he spoke of the sun. She wished to see it as well. She had fewer memories of it than most people due to her age when she changed, but then again not many would know or care to hear that story. So instead she just fallowed him, gathering water as she went. "Dreaming sounds nice, but i would rather make my dream a reality.". She waited moving as she did. When they arrived at the door to the tank she turned and faced the hall way. " I would rather stay out here." she stated softly. She had eaten when absolutely necessary. Before coming here she fed because her powers were strongest right after she fed. However she mostly went long periods of time without feeding because she hated the thought of it.

She didn't even like people watching her or visa versa. Instead she would rather her mind be elsewhere. She reached up and pulled her hood tighter over her head before shoving her hands into the pockets of her hoodie "Just tell me when you are done."

X could hear many things from that room. She didn't wish to bother with it so she walked a bit away from the door and played with her ice. She watched the water freeze and unfreeze, then just moved the water around a bit as she waited for the man to be done feeding. She removed a small plastic container from one of her many pockets and moved to where a bit of blood had been spilled from one of the guards. Using her powers and a bit more effort than she would have normally had to exert, she moved the blood into the container and corked it.

She would need to practice with blood more if she was going to control it.

" I will take care of things if you so wish sir." the soft voice filled the room as Nightengale entered the room. Her movements were soft, hardly audible to those who weren't familiar with her presence. She wore her signature purple, her eyes covered by a thick strap of what might have been leather. This was also purple. She lifted her pale fingers and ran them through the violet hair. "If it is a man, there is nothing i can't do." Not only because of her powers, but because she was also blind, she was far more dangerous than your average woman. She soaked up a lot of sympathy and other such things but she was actually very good at what she did for a living.

"You should let him go. Spread around a rumor about someone who knows a way to the sun, plant me at the scene and let me plant the seeds for your garden sir."

The president smiled and nodded." You have my permission." He had not sympathy for this ruthless assassin. He only felt pity for her victims.

James walked out of the room and a quick glance inside it was amazing that he wasn't covered in blood. James smiled at X." Now where do we go? We need to get out of here before more of these pawns show up. I don't want to waste my energy on beating them senseless.

The way Dusk saw it, kill more gaurds, the more suspicion arrived for the Big Cheese. Dusk's target? The president. He figured that if he killed enough gaurds he'd be requested or forced to have an audience with the b*****d. Where he would then sink his teeth into his neck and drain him dry.

He needed to find another spot to hide, as he had been in that alley for a while. He paid no attention to those he passed, instead his eyes were set on places he could hide. Up ahead, he noticed another alley. "Alley it is..." He muttered to himself, before making a sharp turn directly infront of a few people into the darkness of the alley, which was immediately darker upon his entrance. So dark, that it was completely black. He simply stood in the darkness, watching and waiting.
