The Evan Arc

A High School Freshman named C comes across a black notebook known as the Death Note.

Touching this so called Death Note allowed C to see the Shinigami Necro, who became bound to him since he was now the owner of the notebook. Due to C's moral nature, he refused to write anyone's name in the note book which resulted in Necro killing all the students around her, which left only C standing.

Another detective named Evan witnessed this at the campus and found it rather peculiar that C was the only survivor of the crowd of people. This led to C becoming the primary suspect at this particular time.

Evan later confronts C and reveals that he is a detective hoping to get a reaction. This fails however, and Evan later learns that C is known across the police headquarters, but little is known about him.

After being sent home due to the killings, C is captured by a criminal named Soda who planned to kill him unless certain demands were met.

After many complications, C escapes, but is gravely injured and is beginning to bleed out. Evan finds the near death C and brings him to a hospital.

The hospital was empty and Evan soon realized that this was all a trap incorporated by Soda. Soda shoots Evan and prepares to deliver the finishing blow, but is suddenly killed by a unexpected heart attack.
