I just got kicked out of the guild I was in. Simply by not having vent (and other reasons), but having a third party voice chat software a requirement? The game already has voice chat built in. I can understand using it for a game that doesn't have voice chat built in, but seriously?! I make due with what I have. In my opinion, it's a waste or computer memory just to use it for wow.

Vent Doesn't take up much memory and the ingame vent system is terrible.
Most guilds require vent to be in them if you are a raider because you need to hear what is going on and react quickly when told to. Only time I don't get on vent is when I'm pugging VOA or something silly.

I've asked people I know who have it and they said pretty good things about....not to mention I've been experiencing some difficulties with the in-game vent.

^^ I agree with Foofy. Vent doesnt slow down your computer the way the in-game voice does, and for the amount of coodination required for raid bosses voice chat is pretty much a must-have.
