Introduction
In the shade of a towering chain of snow-capped mountains, bordered by an untamed oak forest, a small village called Rezatente sleeps, undisturbed by the world around it. Rezatente is isolated for one reason: angels and demons walk among them.
The angels will one day attach themselves to a human in Rezatente, falling in love with them and then binding themselves to them to slave for their protection. The demons will sniff out the angels, hunting them and consuming them, relishing the sounds of their cries. And the humans are, well, caught between the two.
