LAZULIA SAYA



The priest let out a small sigh as he wandered the streets of Seyruun, making his way past the clutters of humans. It was always so crowded here, and happy. It would give him a headache. He let out a sigh, his satchel banging against his side with each step he took. At least he hadn't had any trouble buying the wine for Zelas. He glanced over at one of the restaurants to his side, and something caught his eye. It was a small cafe, probably family run. But what got his attention was one of he waitresses. 
She was rather young, barely a teen, with long wavy blonde hair and large blue eyes. She looked so familiar to him, and so he went into the cafe. 
The girl spotted him and hurried over to him. "hello! Can I --" she paused, her eyes widening in shock. "Xellos?" the priest didn't reply right away. He simply stared at her, eyes wide open. It couldn't be...right? There was no way it could be her. The girl seemed convinced of who he was, since her eyes began to well with tears and she ran to the priest, hugging him tightly. His look of shock turned to one of confusion, and then one that almost seemed...happy.

Xellos had finally gotten the girl to calm down a little, and was sitting with her outside the restaurant. Honestly, he was more than a little confused. How had she survived? And why hadn't she tried to find them after all these years? He was holding off interrogating her, since the shock at seeing him after all this time had left her in a daze.
She wasn't sure where to being either; she had a lot of questions for the priest. What had happened after she left? How were the others? Were they okay? She'd forced herself to believe they were all gone now, since they hadn't come to get her or even answered the thousand attempts she'd made to contact them. Now, to find out that they might all still be alive? It was too much.
The girl looked up at him, about to ask, when she heard someone call her name. She turned slowly, and then her eyes widened. "Cerras!!" within a matter of seconds she'd reached the other mazoku, flinging her arms around the woman that had practically been her second mother.

Lazuli smiled happily and her grip on Cerras tightened. "It's good to see you too, Cerras." she said cheerfully. "I really missed you." Xellos smiled to himself as he watched the two.

"Yeah..." Lazuli answered quietly. "I tried to go back, I mustve tried a hundred times... But I couldn't, and no one ever answered when I tried to contact you..." she didn't want them to think she hadn't been trying or that she hadn't wanted to. She hadn't wanted anything more than to go home.

The young teen nodded her head slowly; she was rather relieved that they weren't upset with her for not trying harder. She would have tried longer, but Kaito had told her that it wasn't good for her health to push herself like that, not when they were so close to the Temple and the Healers. She'd needed to focus on keeping her aura hidden.
Lazuli finally pulled away from Cerras, glancing back at the cafe. "Opps..." she said quietly. "Time to go back to work, huh?" Xellos asked teasingly. He had been silent the whole time, and his sudden comment had made the girl jump a bit. She turned to him rubbing her head sheepishly. "Yeah...I don't want to get into any trouble..." she said.
"It's fine. We can hang around until you're done." Xellos answered, shrugging his shoulders slightly. It didn't really make a difference to him. But he figured it would be better for Cerras if she got to spend a bit more time with Lazuli. They hadn't seen each other in years, after all.

LAZULIA SAYA


"Yup. It looks like we underestimated her..." Xellos said cheerfully. "And to think, this wouldn't have happened if I hadn't decided to wander around." That was the part he found the most amusing. He could've just gone back to the mansion, and they would've probably thought she was dead for at least another month; depending on how long it took for Zelas to finish off the wine. He was mainly pleased that Cerras wouldn't be depressed anymore, and would eventually go back to her old cheerful self.

Lazuli cheerfully went about the tasks in the restaurant, unaware of the looks the owner and other employees were giving her. They hadn't seen her look this genuinely happy once since she had been found, bloody and battered on the road outside Seyruun. It had been the owner's wife that had discovered her, and had taken her to the restaurant to try and help the girl recover. By some miracle, the girl had healed within several weeks and, despite grieving something she refused to talk about, began to work at the restaurant to repay the couple for helping her.
As she worked, Lazulia began to wonder how the others were doing. Since Xellos and Cerras were alright, then it could only be assumed that the others were as well. She wondered if they were going to be coming here to see her; if Hellmaster would come. On the list of people she missed most, he and Cerras were neck and neck for first. Her smile softened when she thought about him. She wasn't sure when it had happened, or what had caused it, but she had developed a small crush on the Monster Lord. Of course she hadn't realized it until she had been taken away.

Xellos fell silent as well, letting Cerras process all that had happened. He could understand how she could be a bit overwhelmed. It had been rather sudden, finding Lazuli like this. But he was also sure that once she had a grasp of the situation, she'd be happy. His gaze then wandered into the cafe, watching as Lazuli worked. He then noticed how a lot of the males kept staring at the girl as she walked by and let out a small nervous chuckle. If the Hellmaster were to come and see this, the male populatioin would probably decrease drastically in Seyruun.
