Personality: Akabara is usually a calm an cool guy with a little crazy hidden underneath. He will usually stay quiet and only speaks when he has to. He also seems weird to most people because, well, the boy talks to plants. He LOVES to be around nature and surrounded by plants. He has a natural green thumb and knows how to care for most if not all kinds of plants. He does however have normal emotions. He'll laugh, he knows how to have fun, he gets upset, will cry, get mad and enrage. But one advice is don't harm plants near him. it puts him into a frenzy. When he goes into his state of crazy he can go a bit out of control and kill just about anyone and anything without caring who or what they are.

Description: Akabara can have a massive pea pod grow from the ground to toss enemies into and capture them to bring back to the village as a prisoner or to capture someone for interrogation on a mission.

Biography: Akabara was abducted by a strange man by about the age of five. The boy was hidden from the world along with about 39 other children who had gone missing from other countries. All of them different genders, age, race. They were used as experimental Guinea pigs by a mad scientist from Kusagakure. The man was much like Orochimaru, but instead of a fetish for snakes, it was plants. He had known of the rare Mokuton Element and wanted a way to recreate it, or at least make a variant of it. He used these kids to inject mutated plant DNA into their bodies, to see if they would give birth to a whole new jutsu type and bloodline limit. 30 of those 40 kids died by turning into plants. Their bodies turned to dirt and began to grow plant life rapidly from their corpse, but their faces hidden, grown into the plants.
Only 10 children survived the experiments. Akabara had been the most prominent in his powers. He friend Shikishi, was also gifted like him. He could talk with plants, control them at will, grow them from his body, blend in with them, only lived off of water and Photosynthesis, and even heal wounds like a lopped off arm by absorbing a tree into his his body. The Scientist saw this as a major development, but knew the kids would grow to strong if they stayed with him too much longer. After recording all the data he needed, The scientist killed 8 of the 10, before Akabara and Shikishi were able to escape.
They got to a large grove of plant life which was near the border of the land of Grass, when the Scientist caught them. Akabara and Shikishi fought the man off as long as they could, until both were drained of all their energy and a lot of the field around them had been too damaged to recover with. The two were able to rush off to a thicket or plants to hide in and speak secretly after blinding the scientist with a kick of dirt in his eyes. Shikishi and Akabara were best friends. they helped teach the other kids how to use their powers and had shared a cell. The two were both twelve and even shared the same birthday. One other thing about them though is that they had begun to like each other. Fall in love. And yes, Shikishi is a girl for those of you who couldn't guess.
Akabara had been badly hurt and was crippled in one leg and had a missing hand, severe cuts, and all sorts of things. Shikishi confessed to Akabara about her love for him and could live if he died. She didn't want him to die and knew the only way to save him. Before he had a chance say anything or argue, she quickly grabbed a hold of him in a hug and kissed him, as her body fused into his. It healed his wounds, gave his strength a boost, gave him some chakra back, but broke his heart. Akabara sat just wide eyed and speechless. The Scientist was on the hunt when he suddenly heard Akabara's screams of rage. The man smirked and rushed to Akabara to kill him. When he got to the boy a green aura burned off his body, the plants around engulfed his body, before forming an armor almost around him, the plants alive and fighting for him. Akabara stared at the man with burning rage in his eyes, tears running down his face, and his teeth grinding. He would scream and shout at the man all sorts of obscene and hateful things.
After venting a little he went on the attack and within five minutes had the scientist trapped in a growth of plants. The man had no way to escape and was slowly ripped apart by the own plant techniques he had developed and gifted the child with before he was injected with the same mutated DNA that Akabara had. The man was turned into a plant just as all the other kids who died in the first injection of the experiment. Akabara would soon after faint and sleep for a week straight. After waking up he found himself in an Otogakura hospital after being found by a chuunin squad leaving Kusagakure after a mission. He had suffered a good case of amnesia and forgot the last 7 years of his life.
Now, Akabara lives in Otogakure, a proud gennin and a well known botanist for his age. Despite the great powers he had when he was with the scientist, all he knows now is he has an unnatural ability to talk to plants, doesn't eat food most of the time, feeds off only photosynthesis and water, can use plants to attack with, and by resting and some how taking the life from plants, can heal minor wounds like bad cuts and scrapes. His powers are greatly weakened but is trying to unlock them and see all of his full potential, which has yet to be seen by anyone, even the Scientist and Shikishi before they died.
