Both! 4laugh
Anything goes as long as it's a book. Unless it's horribly written, in which case I could almost accept burning it. Almost, but maybe not.

Fiction, usually mystery or fantasy, right now I'm reading Wicked: The Life and Time of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. Although if there's something I'm interested in then I'll read non-fiction.

I like fiction, but in the sense that it can relate to reality. My all time favorite book ever was The Outsiders by S.E.Hilton which isn't fantasy in anyway but it's not a true story, either.
I like non-fiction too because I'm heavily into biographies lately. And, as creepy as it sounds, I like reading bios on famous criminals and serial killers. I guess that's the part of me that always wanted to go into forensics as a career.
Definitely love to read "true" ghost story books, too. I'm currently reading the second one by the Ghost Hunter guys, Jay & Grant.

I prefer novels to non-fiction, unless I'm reading for research. But there are exceptions:
A friend lent me Mimi and Toutou Go Forth which is the real life story of a very eccentric naval officer in World War One. Had it been fictional, everyone would have said his plan to transport two boats overland through Africa to secretly launch an attack on a superior enemey force was unrealistic rofl

I love fiction!! Things like fantasy, adventure, mystery-crime and a bit of horror and supernatural. My favorite series are Warriors by Erin Hunter and Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan!!
Other favorites are: The Red Pyramid Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero ( Have to wait next fall for the second book) Eragon Eldest Wings My So-Called Death Skullduggery Pleasant The Lovely Bones The September Sisters May Bird series I have read Vampire Kisses, Harry Potter and Phantom Stallion, though it's been quite a while since I've read them.
As long as the book's interesting, has a good plot and keeps my attention on it, it's good. Anyone recommend anything?

Fiction that's based around non-fiction Like when the author rights about something that could happen, but it's not talking about anyone specific. Ellen Hopkins would be a really good example of this, I love all her books so much ♥

Fiction, no doubt. Nonfiction bores me. Well, the one expection to that is that one biography that I read over Michael Jackson. That thing was, like, nine hundred pages long, but it entertained me to the end.

Fiction when it comes to novels. I can't really read biographies. But I do like reading "How to" books and stuff on different cultures and langauges....I'm a geek like that.
