Name: Utau Onada

Nickname(s):
N/A
" Serpent's Venom "

Gender: Female

Age: 13

Height: 5'

Weight: 98lbs

Sexual Preference: Male

Origin: Konohagakure

Personality:

Centered in that of self misfortunes, Utau can see what truly makes a person dark. Her mind can wrap around a person’s flaws easily, manipulating them with cruel words to influence them to give up. She is not usually the one to start conflict, so she makes others begin it. Her heart is content in making others feel like they are lacking something and usually taunts them. But again with the characteristics of a snake, she can make promises that seem to fill those little gaps and holes. Flattery and taking things to a point where no one can refuse, she makes sure that her net of little sayings makes the person believe what she says is true. So her most outstanding characteristic is that with her voice and words, making an initial contract with someone even before they respond to the situation.

Yet the representation of a snake also, is in its deep coils of anger. They appear calm at first, surveying the enemy with a natural warning. Utau shows that warning with physical changes, such as fists clenched or her eyes narrowing. Those are the warning signs, but when she is truly angry, then there is no stopping what she can come to. It is better to be relaxed when put under a lot of stress or forced into a situation that you are not willing to go through, but she releases that anger. Her chakra flares up and can be seen by any one’s eyes, forming a black snake that coils around her. Utau’s emotions are easily recognized and hard to hide at times, especially with the emotions that take the most energy. Most times you will not see her in the point of anger unless you get under her scales just enough.

The usual recognition that people see in her is often fear, because her name is well known. She is not really interested in boring situations and lacks the patience to start a fight of her own. When people first meet her, she immediately strikes fear. The unknown has also interested her in various proportions, which has led to her habit of obtaining vast amounts of information in such short periods of time. With this knowledge she hopes to obtain a level of power where it is almost acceptable, but not everything is usually up to her tastes. Utau likes to experiment also with the human body, so she will give long stares at someone who seems fit for such a title. The body is the temple of all basic things and her analysis dictates that if someone is near perfection, she must instantly find what that perfection is. Not hard to fool either, she can see clearly through small twists and turns and make a right decision. This also leads to her nature of not being too friendly to newcomers or anyone else. Curious by nature she wants to explore everything that the world has to offer. Utau is a figure of power and precision, not characterized by simple emotions or catalogued easily in a book. Her unfortunate past as well has led her to remain cold to most and distant from others. Yet on the basis of it all, she remains neutral in all affairs besides her own.

Biography:

Utau’s background is usually kept secret for various reasons, but also made public for her biggest mistake. Her parents are Mishuro and Aya, blood lined members of the Onada and are known for their pure spirits. They together were thought after as the most highly capable ninjas for any task thrown at them. Even if they did only achieve the ranks of Jounin, they could have gone beyond. The reason for them not going beyond a higher rank is because their care for their children. They both knew if they put themselves higher than others, they would have no chance of ever taking care of their children. Even before they had made these ranks and discussed their lifestyle together, the both of them knew that they wanted children, but also wanted to protect their village. The hidden leaf village was thankful for two clan members of the Onada to assist them, but they also knew that they could not completely have a stable ground. Being an Onada means putting work before everything else, yet family members were also needed. So for a short time Mishuro and Aya did take off their ninja duties to have children. During that time as well it was discussed that whoever was born first would become the heir to the Onada clan. Reasons behind this decision are unknown, but it could be because of the natural blood that flowed through the mother’s and father’s veins, making whoever was born first a true heir to the clan. And so on the first day of the New Year, Aya gave birth to a daughter, who was immediately treated as not a child, but as someone much more.

They decided on the name Utau, which means song, because she was their lyrics of a fulfill life. When she was born she was not given to her parents immediately, but to the Heir of the Onada clan, Hiro. He was the one to decide on how her life should live and basically became her father. Mishuro could understand why it felt like he had been replaced and Aya comforted him in his despair. Losing their first child was hard to bear, but they did and watched their daughter grow through a distance. Even if family was indeed sacred, they did not want to interrupt her training in any way possible. So in another few months they tried again and nine months after that, Aya gave birth to a son. He was not given the honor or position like his sister, but he had a real home and family to belong to. They both were loved and deeply treasured by their parents, but the difference between the two of them was immediate. Utau was considered to be pure because of her background and so was Sevexen, but he was thought only as an underling. They were not ages apart so they often saw each other in studies or training, but they did often question why they lived in separate homes. No one could answer the question the way they wanted to, but those small years of precious childhood were all they could spend together.

Like their parents, Utau and Sevexen had the characteristics of outgoing people and often got in trouble together. Brother and sister were supposed to act like this and their lives together couldn’t be happier, but Hiro knew that the happiness that was in his apprentice’s heart would falter. Utau was the older sister and could not support her brother in the ways that a family does, because when time of training began, she would only be an Onada and not related to anyone else. Yet he let those small years of youth etch themselves in Utau’s heart, because they would remain there and make the training that she would endure that much easier.

Unlike most Onada children, Utau was not given the choice to decide what life she wanted and was sent into training when she was the age of five, two years younger than everyone else. Hiro did not waste time either, because it was necessary to make sure that the next heir was more advanced than everyone else. Utau had the basic structures of someone who was capable of handling this type of training, just like a pure bloodline to be expected. Training most days took place with the other students who were just beginning. The clan’s abilities are introduced through tests and challenges that all students must go through. Utau took these challenges without a second glance or blink of hesitation, because that was to be expected of her. Every session involved Hiro watching her and the next day advancing to the next level. Progress was immediate and it became a natural habit for Utau to not expect to review over a lesson again. After the regular hours of training where most students would head to a dorm for sleep or extra training, she was forced to take a different path. The heir of the Onada clan should be expected to already feel connected to everyone around them. So Hiro took her out of that tradition and kept her in his home, where she could be watched over and also receive some training to the current Heir.

These days were very long for her, because when two years passed, she saw Sevexen often starring through the gates of her home. Their relationship together became distant, but when Hiro allowed it, Utau would often go and visit her family. She had heard by ear that her mother and father were beginning to be placed under harder missions and were forced to leave Sevexen home alone. When Utau visited most days he was alone and she hadn’t seen her parents in ages. Hiro believed that one family should not be placed on her mind, but everyone as a whole. Yet she could not take her mind off of her brother, because he was a part of her. Through these strenuous years she often thought about running away or renouncing her name. Yet she was smart enough to know that if she ran away or even thought about running away, the little privileges she had would be stripped. And also if she renounced her name, well, it would have been better to just die there. Her life was set into a place of a nice tied bow all around her, not a single movement could be placed against this bow. She tried talking Hiro into letting her brother stay with them when her parents were gone, but it was forbidden. Not only were outsiders not allowed to enter the house of the Onada Heir, but those who were not guards or a respectable rank could not enter. So through a distance Utau tried looking after her little brother the best she could.

When time came for another advance she was sent to the Academy where she would learn everything else that was needed to be known. So far inside of her head she had understood and began to test out the abilities of the clan. Her birth gave her the advantage, because everything seemed to be passive and she could activate and control whichever ability. Utau still being young could not master them properly and still needed work, so advancing was the next and only step needed to continue her path. Everyone had heard about her and her mysterious title. Most students stayed away from her and those who were in her family could not really become her friend. Utau thought herself acting like the plague, but that was not it at all. Those who were given titles meant something to the world and they were just afraid, that if they made a mistake in front of her, then it would be the end of them. Without anyone realizing it, she also began to muster ideas inside of her head that were not pleasant at all. Even if she was pure blood, it wasn’t made so that she was a pure person. In class she was the highest ranked out of all of them and when she was assigned a team, it was better to just leave her alone. Which Hiro also decided as well? Forming a team was something that normal ninjas did, not those of the Onada Clan. Even if the hidden villages accepted them, they did not always think the same ways. Hiro did not want to assign Utau a team, because he thought she was taken advanced for such a degrading value. So he began to pick out missions for her instead. Most of them were supposed to be team based missions, but Utau was sent on them alone, maybe with a few guards for protection, but she was to finish the missions on her own. No one could understand what she was going through, except for one person. Sevexen was alone as well and his failures to the clan were indeed degrading.

He was accepted to the academy as well and had begun his training in the Onada abilities, but it seemed he did not have a natural talent like his sister. But that was not all, because whenever he went home expecting his mom and dad to be there, they were not. Word of mouth said that the mission they were assigned would take the longest of times, but rumors were also stated that they had been killed. Sevexen thought only of the first one, because he did not know what he would do if he decided to accept that they were dead. The house that he lived in seemed too large and it echoed the happy memories of his past. Those were things he hung onto and also he hung onto the thought that his sister would also return. Utau stopped visiting when she started going to the academy, which he attended two years after her. It always seemed he was behind his sister and could not get to the level that she was at, but he could admire her from a distance. Sevexen was the younger brother, but he wanted to act like the oldest, cheering his family member on. He understood that being the Heir was hard and he understood the distance that radiated between them, but he wanted to fill that loneliness in his heart. So unlike his sister who was not allowed a squad or friends, he had vast amounts of them. Often after school his name would be called a dozen times for him to go and play with someone or just to hang out. After those moments of play he would then go to their homes and eat dinner with them. He did not feel lonely at all with these friends, but he again was not gifted like his sister and the Onada clan did not recognize him. But he had hope on a caliber of some kind. The bow that was around him was crooked and misshapen, but when Utau’s and his mom and dad came back from their missions, that bow would fix itself and everything would be better.

Years after that blended in together and Utau could not remember a day that stood out among others. She does remember her thirteenth birthday, because on that day there was a feast in her honor and all clan members were welcomed to come. This day was to represent her life fully placed within her clan and also that she was only a few steps away from truly being the master of the Onada clan. She also does remember her brother’s thirteenth birthday, because she can remember how pathetic it was. Only a handful of people went to their parent’s house where he lived and celebrated his birth into a teenager. Utau thought it pathetic, because he should have left the clan a long time ago, because he was not fit to be a shinobi either. She characterized him of being too kind and soft; he did not have a bone in his body that directly linked him to the clan. She wanted to tell him face to face, but whenever the chance came up, Hiro would tell her something else must be done. Those two memories are the ones that most stick out, because the rest of them are the same. Day in and day out she would train, meditate, train some more and master her abilities. Utau was the complete heir and no one could take her place among the ranks, but she had also received a name among many villages. She at these times was not a rogue and had developed a name that brought back another person at the same time. Utau was known as “Snake”. A simple term to represent her abilities of having such a flexible body, it was not very frightening as well, but people knew who the name belonged to. But at the same time, those who look to the past could remember what else the snake meant. Whenever Utau’s shinobi name was said, Orochimaru would soon follow the conversation. His memory still haunts people to this day, but also people can almost see his reflection in Utau. The way she strikes fear into people at a single glance is enough to think snake.

Yet that name could not last long, because as usual, she would advance beyond the spot she was at. Utau took her trainings to a new level and also began experiments of some sorts. These experiments were classified and Utau even hid them from Hiro who was still tailing her like a hawk. The times whenever she experimented was truly when she was the being she was. Relaxed in front a metal table and calm to see a corpse would not be normal for most, but for her, it was comfort away from everything else. The corpses were not killed and were not stolen either. Shinobi can do research on bodies donated for science and Utau took that contribution as well. She studied every aspect of the human body possible, but she still wanted more. It was a sensation usually crossed with someone who is greedy, but she just wanted to obtain knowledge that no one else could understand. So the next memory that most stands out for her, is the day that her brother died… by her own hands.

Rain had plagued the village she had been currently staying at, because at the same time she was on a mission. On this mission she expected to find her target immediately and be done with it, yet the rain was quiet unexpected and delayed her timing. Utau did not mind though, because it gave her time away from Hiro and the clan. Yet the rain could not stop her from completing the mission which she did when she found the person whose head needed to roll. It took a few days to find the person and then eliminating them only took a few moments, so her return would happen on that same day. What was unexpected though was that her brother had followed her. Sevexen had left behind the Onada clan and also did not become the shinobi he wanted to be. Utau had heard that he had open up a shop of some kind, but never took the time anymore to go and visit him. That day in the rain she did take the time to look at him and ask what he was doing. The answer was not immediate, but he explained that it was the only way he could properly talk to her. She had almost forgotten that they were brother and sister, so she gave him that wish and that night they rented a room. Utau hardly had anything to say to him, because he would not understand what she had been doing for her whole lifetime, because he did not understand the clan at all. But he did most of the talking anyway, telling her about the girl of his dreams, the constant squeak in whatever shoes he bought, the unlucky door that was in the back of his shop and also how he still hadn’t heared from mom and dad. It was curious also that they had been gone since they were both five years old and had ever returned. Utau had accepted that they were dead, but she could see in her brother’s eyes that he had hope. She did not believe in such a trivial thing, because it only led to despair. She could tell by the way he talked though that he was not telling her everything, which was ok, because she could see it. He was worried about something specifically, but also he was truly lonely. Utau could see that in the way he held himself, acting as if he had no idea where to go. She could not provide comfort for him, except for one kind.

That same night when Sevexen had fallen asleep, Utau had gotten a message of somone. It wasn’t a physical message but it changed her mind on everything. Looking down at her brother sleeping, she could see the dark circles underneath his eyes. He would stay awake until the morning’s sun looking out the window, waiting for mom and dad to come home. He was thin and frail from the lack of money he earned from the shop he owned. And also the girl of his dreams did not love him in return, but she used him like a gaming piece. Utau could see no perfection in him of any kind, except for a glance of it. The perfection that he had was only in his blood, because he was related to her. In her eyes she took that as an insult to her very being and she would not accept it. Placing her infamous gloves on, she decided on a poison that would eliminate him immediately and end his suffering in his dream state. Using nitrogen gas she put her brother out of his misery and her own. That imperfection of a brother of hers was disposed of and she would never have to hear about him again. Afterwards his story was that he had moved onto another village and opened a shop there, so no one even knew that he had died.

Utau after her mission immediately turned in her headband for the hidden leaf village and went to Hiro for the last time. He had expected her home sooner and wanted an explanation, so she gave him one. Utau stated that she had eliminated the target and disposed of his body properly. It took some time, because of the rain. It was simple and well stated, but Hiro did not buy it. When she was retreating to her own chambers he stopped her where she stood and demanded a more proper explanation, one that did not include her lying. He knew her better than anyone else, but Utau knew that he was getting old. Yet she ran a scenario through her head, one that didn’t work in her perfect mind. So she decided against the needle to paralyze the man for all eternity and instead told him that her mission was done. Nothing more to it and then she retreated. It doesn’t matter that she has missions on her own, she still attends the academy. Which is now a new year.

Bloodline: Onada
Kagakusha Tebukuro :: The Chemist's Glove

At a young age, usually around graduation from the Academy, a young Onoda member will be presented with their first pair of Tsume. The Tsume are a special pair of gloves, usually black, that readily accept Souton chakra that the Onado clan has control of and have unique built in pathways or veins. Through these veins, usually quite small, the Onoda member can transfer deadly or dangerous chemicals to inject them into opponents using the Shintosuru Gekai. The Onoda Clan member can use their chakra to direct the flow and amount of toxin or poison through the specialized veins. The containers that the Onoda Clan members use to carry the chemicals are usually connected to their bodies through a specialized belt. At any moment, if the containers are threatened to be struck, an Onoda Clan member can phase the chemicals into the bodies for a moment so that they will be undamaged. However, because the containers are made from a similar material that the Tsume are, breakage is rare.

On each glove their are five veins, one for each finger, which extends to the finger's very tip. It is from this point that the Onoda Clan member will inject the poison. Each poison travels along only one track. The poisons or toxins that are placed in the thumb vein are usually the most poisonous and destructive. Onoda Clan members usually carry about 20 grams of each substance, unless their desired effects can be produced at low concentrations. Most of the chemicals that they use come in solutions for easy injection and so that they may easily travel through and opponents blood stream.

Note, without these gloves it is mentally and physically harder to perform and not likely that it can be done in rapid succession. The toxins that can be used at Genin stage,

The symptoms of an effective dosage are somnolence [difficulty staying awake], mental confusion, and hypotension, impaired motor functions, impaired or absent reflexes, impaired balance, dizziness, and hypoventilation.
