The Captain's office is a large, though sparsely decorated, room where Captain Murasame spends a great deal of time. The room's main entrance is located on the center of the southern wall. The first things one would notice upon entering are a simple, though beautifully carved mahogany desk and a pair of matching chairs on the northern end of the room, just in front of a set of French doors that leads out to a small balcony, just large enough for two people, that has a great view of the Seireitei and Soukyouko hill. There is a sliding door in the northeast wall that opens into the Vice-Captain's adjoining office.

In the center of the room are a pair of couches that run parallel to the eastern and western walls, which are used during officers meetings, as well as a small table with tea service for the odd occasion when Kenshin receives visitors at his office.

Just because the room's decor is bordering on spartan doesn't mean that the room is cold and uninviting, it is simply a reflection of Kenshin's no-frills personality.
