House Barriurden stands second within the city. Those without do not attack, no longer seeing the point in doing so as Matron Barriurden is now mad, her own children striving to overthrow her. The house is strong and formidable, but the internal struggle distracts some from the Matron's plotting...
It is a large complex like that of House Kilndar and has its own host of lizard riders.

Alauna sits on the edge of her crimson decorated bed. Even the curtains of her fourposter are crimson. A smile dances along her crimson painted lips. She knows that some say her bed is done in such a color to hide any blood that may get on it while she plays. Not entirely true, but it had crossed her mind on several occasions how the blood seemed to blend in. Well, at least until it dried anyways. She runs a hand through her white hair, red eyes trained upon her door. Only moments ago her messenger left her after telling of the Kilndar girl's victory. It seems off to her. The child didn't seem like one who would do such a thing...

Red eyes glow in the darkness, high upon a rock ledge overlooking the Barriurden house. Amaladinant looks down at the matron's balcony wondering if the rumors of her madness are based on fact. He moves silently through the darkness using his powers of levitation he floats down landing without a sound a the railing of the balcony to take a closer look, curiosity winning out over caution.

One delicate hand plays with a crimson curtain as she thinks. Her little Kilndar's actions do not make sense to her. Crimson eyes suddenly widen slightly. She laughs, a mad sound, falling back in a rather provocative position. It makes sense to her now. Her little lover was seeing to personal business that just so happened to work out to please Matron Kilndar and the Spider Queen, Chaotic irony has touched her lover again. Her laughter stops. "Who is it that dares come to me unbidden?"

His red eyes glowed in the darkness they would be the only thing visible to her at that time. "One who is lost to the dark and who's madness runs as deep if not deeper than the rumors paint yours to be matron Aluana." His voice echoed through her chambers. He stepped deeper into the room a small smile on his face his fangs barely visible in the dim light. "But to more accurately answer your question, my name is Amaladinant, I come from the wilds of the underdark seeking refuge and perhaps a house to belong to." He spoke in a somewhat seductive tone as he locked eyes with the beautiful matron.

Alauna remains in the provocative position she landed in. "Amaladinant." The name rolls off the tongue easily enough. She looks the stranger over, confident enough in her own abilities to keep herself safe in her own bedchamber. Part drow but he is too tall to be full. His looking her in the eye speaks volumes of how long he has been on his own out in the Wilds. Seeking a house to belong to. Normally she wouldn't use people in such a way, but the temptation is too great. The opportunity too wonderful. "A house to belong to, hmm? Well, can't have someone as handsome as you without a house. No." She smiles. "If you can kill my current Weaponmaster, you may have his position within House Barriurden." Usually the Weaponmaster of the ruling houses is the first or second son of the Matron. Not in this case, but she isn't about to tell him that. Not yet.

His smile widens showing more of his fangs to the female before him. "As you command my mistress." He replied as he seemed to simply melt into the shadows, his glowing red eyes the last thing to vanish from the room. He moved through the halls like a ghost until he finally reached the weapons room, spotting his prey within he slipped inside without being noticed. Amaladinant drew one scimitar and before the weaponmaster could realize what had happened he stabbed the smaller drow through the back the blade coming out his chest. As the weaponmaster's breathing weakened Amaladinant sunk his fangs into the male's jugular and drained him dry before removing his heart and his head. He quickly made his way back into Aluana's bedchamber laying both the heart and head before. "I did not know which you would prefer as proof of his incompetence." He explained softly wiping some of the blood from his mouth.

Alauna's crimson eyes fix on the heart laying before her, ignoring the fact that blood is pooling on her bed. After all, it isn't the first time there has been blood upon her bed and it is unlikely to be the last. Lifting the heart rather gently in her delicate seeming hands, an oddly sad smile graces her crimson lips. Ironic how she now has the one thing of his she could never give him of hers. Eyes suddenly becoming angry, she crushes the heart, hands much stronger than they seem. Crimson eyes slowly lift to Amaladinant. "Welcome to House Barriurden, Weaponmaster Amaladinant, Patron Barriurden."

He frowned slightly at the waste of blood, but smiled softly as he licked a few drops from his chin. He leaned down taking her blood covered hand and sucked the blood from her fingers. "Mmmm Patron, I think I like the sound of that." He purred softly red eyes glowing softly in the dim light.

She watches him carefully, taking in his every move. "Indeed? Patron of the second house. Patron to a mad woman." She catches his chin with her newly clean fingers. "Any other Matron would pluck the eyes from your head for being so bold as to look into hers. You'll have to work on public mannerisms if you plan on ever being outside our complex without me."

He stared into her eyes allowing some of his age to seep into his gaze. "As I said my mistress my madness runs as deep if not deeper than your own, and perhaps my long life has made me unafraid of such consequences but if you wish for me to change my ways I shall do so."

Alauna laughs softly and pats his cheek softly. "Just like my little LiNeeerafae." She sits back, lounging back against her many pillows. "I am not telling you to change, just to wear a mask to hide who you are around them. To protect yourself to survive. Doing less would be foolish." She smiles rather evilly. "Within our own House is something altogether different, mind you. Do as you wish here."

He looks up into her eyes crawling up into the bed. "I see your reasoning, but it will be difficult, especially when it comes time for me to feed, or shall I simply feed on the servants?" He asked as he ran his tongue over his fangs, removing the band tying his hair back, letting his hair fall around his shoulders and face.

"It is what they are there for. Since they are for your food, it is up for you to decide who and what you feed from." She watches him take down his hair before reaching up and running her hands through it rather gently. Not many get to see Alauna's truly gentle, caring side. She looks into his eyes and her lips twist into a smile. "Why, Patron Amaladinant, are you trying to get into my bed?"

He closes his eyes as she runs her hand through his hair. He licks his lips as the sound of her wrist pulse rushes through his ears. He looks up at her with a seductive smile then down at himself laying with over half his body on her bed. He arches an eyebrow his red eyes glowing brighter. "It would appear to me my Matron that I already am, or at least most of me."
