House Kilndar. First House. Strongest in the entire city. It is the largest compound, not counting the schools. Surrounding it is a great fence, enchanted by the First Boy who is also House Mage and Archmage of the entire city. Housed inside is the entire Kilndar family, servants, slaves, and soldiers. They also keep pets and mounts. The family boasts several high ranking High priestesses, furthering their claim to power. For centuries, none have dared even whisper about challenging the great House Kilndar. With recent events, they may be safe for centuries more....

LiNeeerafae is curled up in her large fourposter bed. The blankets are black and crimson with one or two silver furs. The pillows are also black and crimson. The curtains are black. A lock of her silver hair caresses her right cheek as she lays there on her left side. She's tired from the day's activities. It takes a lot out of a person to destroy an entire house with the help of only one other. She was praised for her actions, given her name. In truth, though, she had her own secret motives for destroying the house that have nothing to do with their goddess's favor. She stares off at nothing with her silver eyes as she relaxes and thinks. What would have happened if that matron had spoken to her mother? She snorts softly, knowing that she's the one who would likely be dead now if that had been the case. She had no choice really. She had to take out the entire house since it could not be known if the woman had told anyone close to her or not.

The gaurds outside of the women's room froze in place as anicy chill went up thier spines "don't mind me ladies just your freindly village poltergeist" ofcorse they attempted to strike the form infront of them, but the solid weapons did nothing and he seemed to feed on thier magic, eventually the gaurds passed out from lack of energy, not dead of corse just depleted "well so much for stealth...maybe she knows what the hell i'm doing in this mixed up demarcation"

Sarest stared into the blackness of the bottom of the bunk above his, breathing as little as possible for the stench seeping out of the next room of slaves. Above him was something that was breathing heavily, probably an Orc or Druergar, but even in the deep blackness of the Underdark he could but rarely sleep so he spent his time 'daydreaming' about the surface and his family or trying to hear the spirits he heard traveled about the Underdark. However, he was neither a shaman, nor would he ever have much time to do this as the taskmaster burst through the door and ordered everyone up and out; it was time for the slaves to rotate out. Sarest slinked the best he could through the crowd, but was grabbed around the neck by the taskmaster, "Not you grub," she said, tightening her hand around his throat some before loosening it, "Lady LiNeeerafae is tired and could use some entertainment. Go to her," she said before going around and whipping any of the slaves that had so much as paused to watch. Sarest rubbed his neck a moment, having expected harsher treatment, but decided to quickly make his way through the house up to the room he had been ordered too, having the most unusual feeling along the way. Sarest wasn't fond of unusual feelings, they generally preceded eventful days- Sarest also wasn't fond of eventful days. The young human's first indication that there was trouble afoot was that there was someone lying on the ground around the corner to LiNeeerafae's room and the second was the hand of a second that came into view behind the first as he approached more. Anyone capable of such work probably didn't need him to announce his presence to know that he was there so he decided to take a gamble that since he saw no blood he wasn't going to be attacked on sight, "Um... hello? Is anyone there?" he asked as he slowly peeked around the corner.

LiNeeerafae sits bolt upright and glares at the door. It is too much. She had wanted to relax. Some quiet time with no trouble. Sliding out of the bed, it becomes obvious that she has yet to bathe since she is still splattered with blood. Grabbing up her scimitars, she watches the doors leading into her room. A very eventful day. Too eventful. After this she will be overdue for a long hot bath and perhaps a little pampering. Just a little.

first he attended to the boy, speaking to him telepathically "fear not, these people will live, and as a token of appreciation for not giving me away" The scream of the task master soon echoed through the halls "now i suggest you and any friends you may have go attend to her,i tricked her mind into experiencing all the pain that task master women put you through," the spell hit was not a guarantee in truth but with his targeting it was a 75% chance of success, even if it missed the women would be shaken. "you will find her passed out like the others, now pretend you heard nothing and go the other way" He then splashed the boy with what appeared to be blood, but was infact just a chemically identical substance "smeer it on your friends, and when your task master wakes tell her you bled the intruder that attacked her dry along with the other slave's help,I garuntee you she will be grateful" the distance would have been a problem for a novice spell caster but as he was rather experienced his spells were powerful and he had energy to spare, this would not be known to anyone in this world however since this world was not his own, however the constent etherial state and the spell did take a tole bringing him to about 80%
with that matter settled he slipped into the room that belonged to the woman of high regard through the door before returning to a solid form.
"My apologies for the intrusion" He looked toward the woman but not directly at her "i can tell from the smell none of the blood is yours" He waved his hand, all the blood that covered her and anything else in her room flowed into his palm forming inro a ruby like stone "I need to know Lady...sorry i don't know your name if you know away to go from one dimension to another,if not I shall leave you to get back to your...recuperation" he didn't want to say relaxing cause that may offend her, even though it was rather obvious, but then again alot was obvious to him thanks to his gifts. the truth was her name was the first thing he picked up but just blurting it would have been rude. ((i'll edit more after i've read up if necessary ))

||I'm just gonna run with it how I see fit for the moment, but my suggestion to you Ashes is thus: if I was to place your actions in a given tier of DnD characters I'd say it was something like middle to upper epic tier- that is to say the tier of upcoming gods, demon lords, archfey, etc. It's more fun to play as a character that is still developing. Even if you have a really old character, you don't have to assume that they are these immense powerhouses, because even though mortals (humans, dwarves, non-Tolkien elves, etc.) can reach unheard of levels of power in mere decades or years, we should assume that this increase is occurring in the story rather that already present. I know that may not entirely apply to your race, but the idea remains the same that a main RPC should be a creature of potential rather than refined strength. The events that take place in the story make your character get stronger, not the story is a series of events for your character to show off their strength.||
Sarest shut his eyes when the strange man splattered him with the blood-like substance, being truly fooled that is was blood from the smell. He didn't say a word as the man as he slipped into LiNeeerafae's room, but glanced down the hallway as he heard the taskmaster shriek. For a moment the boy considered the words of the man, trying to imagine any of the slaves as his 'friends,' but immediately the thought came to mind that he must not be familiar with Drow society to say such a thing. Quickly, but quietly working his way down the hall he checked around the corner to see the deceptively small Drow woman holding her whip in one hand and a long knife in the other, glancing around frantically when she caught sight of Sarest, "You, human, did you see anyone slip by?!" she growled at him. "Someone just tried to attack me! I bet they mean to assault the house!" She was simply incensed and probably saw and felt a phantom of some sort conjured by the man's magic.
"There was someone. He knocked out some of Lady LiNeee- LiNeeer-" Sarest still had trouble with the Drow's names and language even though he had already been there for a few years. "Lady LiNeeerafae's guards? Where is it now?!" she interjected, throwing the name out with so little effort as to make Sarest envious, "I uh..." he said, holding up his hand covered in the glistening red liquid and thrusting it out like a spear, "I didn't get a good look, but it went that way," he added, pointing down the hall that lead to LiNeeerafae's room. He wasn't really lying, pointing towards where the man had gone, but he didn't feel like taking this too far as he was actually more worried about what was going on in the room with LiNeeerafae. The Taskmaster's eyes gleamed with fiendish delight and anger, muttering a quick, "Good," before bolting past Sarest slightly wary of him, however, and rushing down the hall and past LiNeeerafae's room.
The young boy turned back around the face the hall where now only two unconscious guards lay before the door to LiNeeerafae's room. He normally would have had to go wash the filth from himself before seeing to one of the named house member's personal needs, but he knew that he would likely be killed for such negligence if the Taskmaster so much as breathed a word about his knowledge of an intruder. Dragging aside the two guards and leaning them up against the wall he very slowly raised a hand to the door. It had been a good minute or two, so surely something would have happened by then, so Sarest knocked on the door only after hesitating for another moment.

((well i guess the tricks my character pulls off are a tad impressive for a new character, but there are reasons for this which will become evident as the rp continues, expect alot of flash backs day dreams and plot fillers to come, after all i don't clam my character was born this tough that'd be nuts^_^...plus pretty sure i mentioned the power supply was stolen from the guards but if not i'll add it in)) He could tell it was the boy from the smell of fake blood. "the women is in nodanger from me,though my timing appears to be rather poor,i don't mind waiting till your job is done boy, maybe she will be more taketive after your assistance"
he did not know much about this place it was true, just that the women were power hungry amazon-esque and that males and children were little more then cheep labor, but he was in their world and thus reserved judgment, after all he had just drained about 20 guards of energy, they would probably frown on that sort of thing, but at least no one was dead...ofcorse maybe he should have killed that task master, she was probably more angry then a bull in ketchup (don't ask where that came from,by the way my char actually is quite flawed, you just need to think about it and you will see the cracks in what seems to be the perfect or close to perfect shield))

LiNeeerafae's silver eyes narrow upon the intruder within her room. She focuses in upon him though her mind wants to go down the path of thought her new name and her natural appearance lead her to. What a slap to the face she is to the Spider Queen, goddess of her people. LiN's right foot slides forward slightly, putting her into a fighting stance. She may be a priestess, but she was trained first as a warrior. Her dual scimitars are held loosely and yet she has a firm enough grip upon them so as not to loose them in combat. She is no novice. She has been trained since the moment she could stand, like all drow. An instrument of death. Sensitive hears catch the sound of the tentative knock upon her door. She knows that knock. Sarest It is all rather bad timing. If she turns him away, he will be punished by the House Kilndar taskmaster. If she lets him enter, he could be injured. Either way, it will be her fault and she would not be able to forgive herself any hurt done to him. She has come to enjoy his company a great deal. He listens to her and doesn't seem to judge. All the others judge. Eying the stranger before her, she stays alert, edging her way slowly to the door to place herself between him and Sarest. "How did you find your way into the First House so easily? More importantly, what in the Abyss makes you think anyone in this city will help you? None will. None have reason to. You have erred in coming here. You have erred in attacking me." Her voice is soft. Despite its enticing qualities that make many wish for her bed, now it holds a cold, deadly rage as well. "I will remember you. I will remember you endangering Sarest. You will pay for your crimes."

He smiled at the woman "oh so I attacked you did I?" He simply eyed her noting the concern when she mentioned the boy. "I have not attacked you nore do I intend to...as for your gaurds and that boy's cruel task master...well that's another story" His voice was calm as he studdied her,she was not as cold as she seemed, but she would attack if provoked he did not doubt that. "as for the boy he has alittle false blood on him but i did no lasting damage to anyone, you can even ask the boy if you like" He slowly moved away from the door in a nonthreatening manner, out of view of anyone just outside the room, but stayed in the woman's sight so as not to appear to be anattemt to get into her blind spot for an attack, this women was already suspicious of him...not that he could blame her,he did basically storm the castle "as for how i got in so easilly you shall discover that when i leave"

LiNeeerafae can't help but smirk. He stands before her, an intruder in her bedchamber, claiming that he has not attacked her. He who has incapacitated her guards and assaulted the House taskmaster is not an attacker. She may have many faults, but being stupid is not one of them. Keeping her silver eyes upon the intruder, she inches her way to the large double doors that lead into her private rooms. Hooking a scimitar in the handle of one of the doors, she quickly pulls it open. Her muscles scream at her, protesting being used again so soon, but she ignores the small pain. Silver eyes dart to the side to glance at Sarest, but quickly return to her opponent. The quick glance was not enough to tell if the man is injured. She quickly hooks an arm around him and pulls him behind herself, reassuring herself at the solid feel of him. "You would do well to learn your place here, Stranger. One does not openly attack the drow and expect to live a long healthy life."

Sarest stood stock still in front of the door as he heard hushed voices back and forth between his lady and the mysterious intruder, but it wasn't long before he heard the scrape of metal on the doorknob on the inside and LiNeeerafae glanced at him and in the same motion pulled him in. He unconsciously placed a hand on her arm as he looked on at the unusual trespasser.
LiNeeerafae had said it right- obvious attacks in a city of Drow was like painting a target on yourself and one step away from tying yourself up down a archery range, "Stranger, I don't know where you come from, but I can tell from your words that you don't know this world. You should leave while you still can," he said. He would only ever be able to speak so freely around LiNeeerafae, although he did so rarely anyways. "Milady, I don't think he understands what his actions mean. He's probably from the surface and doesn't know any better," he whispered to her. "He didn't do any lasting damage after all."

He laughed and nodded, the laugh was a hollow one though "aside from the surface part he's correct" he was still calm and collected even now "I intend to leave this place before learning mine...and by the way miss...thank you...for confirming my hunch about you was correct after all" He turned etherial once more "and to answer you're eirlier question this is how i got in" He became once more like a ghost the red stone falling through him to the floor.
