Character name: Kopaka Nuva

Type of being: Toa (angelic being of the elements) of Ice. He is human, but he's... special.

Any powers the character might have: Kopaka has power over the element of ice. He can create ice out of thin air and lower the temperature in a room. He also has a slight psychic ability thanks to his twin sister. He can read the top surface of minds, and communicate via thought with other people who have psychic abilities. He is weak against heat, especially fire.
He wears a ring with the shape of the Celtic Five-Fold (balance) Knot on his left ring finger. It helps him control his power.

Appearance: He generally looks something like this: [link]. As a rule, he has straight white hair, pale skin, and pale blue eyes. He is tall and skinny, and doesn't like to dress too lavishly. He always wears glasses or contact lenses.

Biography: This will, of course, vary on the RP, but the story he was originally born into goes something like this: He was raised in New York City as a member of a 14-adopted-child family with no parents after age 9. He leads a pretty normal life - he goes to school, has a boyfriend, a best friend, plays sports, et cetera. However, he constantly has to cope with the fact that he is /not/ normal at all. These magical powers that he and the rest of his family possess bring them under constant attack from an organization calling themselves the Brotherhood of Makuta, whose sworn goal is to bring the Toa down in order to take over the world and the known universe. Its leader, Makuta, is the God of Darkness. He has locked his brother, Mata, God of Light, away somewhere within his vast other-planar base. It is the job of the Toa to set Mata free and restore order to the universe. (There's a lot more, but let's face it - if I were to write out his entire story, you'd still be reading a week from now.)

Personality: Collected, shy, calm, quiet. Kopaka cares for the people he loves, and would protect them with his life. He does not like to interact with lots of people at once, especially if they are not people he knows well. He is a literal genius and does very well in school, but is very modest and does not like to show off his brains. Although Kopaka is very shy and quiet, he is a fierce competitor and does not like to lose. He has very strong emotions, although he does his best to hide these whenever he is in public. When alone or with people he trusts, he exhibits a grand sense of humor and a knack for storytelling. He sticks up for his beliefs and will stand unflinchingly fast by them when challenged. He is very prideful.
Kopaka is pansexual, which means that he dates based on personality, rather than on gender or looks (yes, yaoi fangirls, he dates guys as well as girls ;D).

A symbol: A simple, thin grey diamond. It appears on his forehead whenever he uses his powers (so it gets more prominent depending on how much power he uses).

Any pets?: He has two ferrets - an albino named Link, and a black named Felix. They're both male.

What RPGs and/or stories are this character Involved in?: [Broken and Breaking] [The Cyber Realms] (I also have many short stories going with him, but none are finished and ready to show to the public yet.)

Other: Kopaka is fond of sports. He plays ice hockey and soccer, and is in an Olympic figure skating training program. His favorite thing to do is read. He also plays the flute. He likes to goof around with computers, although not as much as his little brother, Lewa. He enjoys being with friends and family.
He has two twin longswords that he can channel his powers through. He also uses a special gun, equipped with bullets that can kill vampires and werewolves.

Character name: Laki Sakins (Lakiya, if you want to be formal…)
Type of being: Slightly more than human
Any powers the character might have: She has a lose control over the creature commonly called Magic, although it isn’t easy to tell if it is the one controlling her. She can also travel through dimensions
Appearance: [XX] Her skin is a few shades darker than the girl in the picture's,but otherwise it's pretty spot-on.
Biography: To sum it up, she was born in an alternate dimension, where she had to keep the power-hungry Khyrres from destroying... well… everything. Fun stuff. Read her novel here.
Personality: Laki is generally distrusting of strangers. She tends to know right off the bat if she’s going to like someone, and she’s usually right about her hunches. If she’s wrong it can be difficult to get rid of the impression she’s formed of you. Laki is loyal to her friends, quiet, and unreadable most of the time. She holds in anger until it bursts out or fades away. Other than that, her emotions tend not to be very intense; she is exceptionally good at controlling herself.
A symbol: a door. Any door.
Any pets?: Her doggy, Wolfie
What RPGs and/or stories are this character Involved in?: The Museum Of Endless Halls in this guild’s RP forum. There have been others, but they aren’t active at the moment.
Other: She is a lot stronger than she looks physically, but if someone else uses Magic against her, it is very difficult for her to combat it. She tries to avoid fighting if she can.
