Oh OUCH!! 2 of the 4 weeks so far I've gone 1-4 on my picks. Honestly I almost went with the Steelers over the Ravens last week. If I would have I would have gone 0-5!! But I'm only 3 wins behind the leader. Lets close that gap!

Green Bay at Washington- The Redskins got just what they needed Sunday, a huge momentum boost from McNabbs return to Philadelphia. Though I'm willing to say that the Eagles lost that game due to the Vick injury more than anything else. Anyways. Green Bay's win over Detroit was pretty ugly. They nearly handed the Lions their first win and dropped 2 in a row. But I think the Packer defense will hold the low scoring Redskin offense below 20 points, and Aaron Rodgers will lead the Packers to yet another win.
WINNER- GREEN BAY PACKERS

N.Y. Giants at Houston- Boy did the Giants defense look awesome Sunday night, will they do as well against the Texans? Don't count on it. The Texans have one of the better offenses in the league, including a top notch run team. And the Giants offense still isn't playing as well as they could be. Houston gets the win and extends their lead in the south, Giants loose and more talk of Tom Coughlin loosing his job will spring up.
WINNER- HOUSTON TEXANS

St. Louis at Detroit- The Rams have stunned the NFL by winning two in a row, a close victory over the Redskins and a thrashing of their divisional rivals Seattle. But Detroit is also a different team this year. Last season you let them hang around into the 4th quarter, you will still most likely get the win. This season they are playing tougher, and you let them hang around, they have the potential to beat you. And I don't think Sam Bradford and the Rams are experienced enough to handle and protect a 4th quarter lead if its a close game against a hungry Lions team.
WINNER- DETROIT LIONS

Philadelphia at San Francisco- This game will be determined on one thing, Will Vick play? Monday MRI's didn't show any broken ribs, but cracked cartilage between his ribs, leaving him at the moment questionable against the 49ers. With Kolb running the offense this team struggles and goes belly up. The 49ers have once again let victory slip through their fingers against another 3-1 team. They are about 2 turnovers away from being a 2-2 team. They also played their best game at home which is where this game will be played. IF Vick is out and Kolb is in, I see an upset in the making.
WINNER- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Minnesota at N.Y. Jets- After loosing by one point to the Ravens, the Jets rebounded by beating all of their division rivals back to back to back. Minnesota got their first win going into their bye week, but against the lowly Lions, It doesn't take a genius to see which team is coming into this game with the momentum. Favre has had an extra week to try and fix his problems, but I don't see him bouncing back enough from his poor performance in weeks 1-3 to put up big numbers against a stout Jets defense.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

(I'm take a few risks with this weeks picks, but time to take some chances)
RECAP- Packers, Texans, Lions, 49ers, Jets

It's time to start going with my gut I guess. I hedged my bets and look what happened.

The Green Bay Packers: Packers are the better team, and the Skins always disappoint.

The Houston Texans: I think the Bears game was a fluke, so lets hope that the mediocre Texans can win.

The St. Louis Rams: The Rams look good, the Lions look good, but the Rams inspire me.

The Philadelphia Eagles: As much as Kolb sucks the 49ers have fizzled.

The New York Jets: Favre is off his game and the Jets Defense is gonna be super charged.
