Nezrain nodded in satisfaction at Komet's reaction. "It's a matter best discussed in private. Sensitive information and whatnot." Without waiting, she led Komet out of the classroom, shutting the lights off on their way out, and headed over to the elevator. She had known Komet for years, though they had yet to actually interact much on a deeper level, but it was enough for her to know of his long-standing career at Garden, and she was certain he would understand that some materials were too classified to be discussed even within the privacy of one of Garden's classrooms.
Reaching the elevator, she called the car and made certain that the it was clear, before holding the door for Komet and following him in. She buzzed the Headmistress's quarters, sending the car up to the restricted floor. Once there, they called on Aki, and waited for her to let them in.

Nezrain lead the way out of the room. Walking beside her, Komet wondered where this was going. The mission that was briefed seemed pretty self-explanatory.
Entering the elevator though, Komet had the feeling this would take longer then he had anticipated.
In the waiting room, the small period of time waiting, Komet began to play with a pair of dice he had. He usually had them to mess with the students, giving them ultimatums when the misbehave.
With a slight cough, expressionless Komet mentioned in a soft voice "Danae seemed interesting."

Aki had been bent over her desk grading papers for her class when she is startled out of her concentration by a buzzing sound, indicating there was someone wishing to see her. She hastily gathers all the papers and puts them neatly in a folder labeled "Monster Definition", then places the folder in a drawer.
"Come in," she calls, adjusting her glasses, which she had just discovered to have slid forward on her nose.

Nezrain furrowed her brows lightly. Somewhat intrigued by Komet's comment.
"Really? Interesting in what way?" Either she was playing dumb, or she really didn't catch any of the strange glances or reactions the other woman had had to her. It was true that, in regards to her own person, Nezrain wasn't always the most perceptive of other's reactions to her.
Suddenly she heard Aki calling out in response, and took a moment before opening the door, not wanting to dismiss the conversation she was having with Komet, but not wanting to leave Aki hanging either.

Komet grinned at Nezrains reaction. Taking his hand out of his pocket pushed through the doors standing in front of the duo.
Entering the room eagerly hands behind his back, grin still on his face, heading towards Aki.

A look of slight surprise crosses Aki's face, but it's quickly replaced with a warm smile.
"Why hello Komet, Nezrain. To what do I owe this unexpected pleasure?" Aki says, rising from her seat.
She gestures at the two chairs on the other side of her desk, encouraging her friends to sit and make themselves comfortable.

"Business, actually." The words were half-apology, half-relief. Things had been a bit slow, so work picking up was a good thing. However, the job Nezrain had received had been a particularly demanding one, and it was a little awkward for her to be delivering it to Aki, despite the casual manner of the headmistress.
She continued, but not before shooting a 'what was that about' look at Komet. "I've got a new contract that needs to be handled, but with the new SeeDs on deployment, and so few experienced, tried and true operatives, it seems that this one may fall on us three to execute." She paused. "It's really a special case though. The contract was approved by Garden staff before I got a chance to look it over." Glancing between Aki and Komet she let out a short sigh. "Our client is Galbadia."

Aki smiles at Komet as he sits and waves her hand dismissively at his mock salute.
"Yeah, no more than usual," she says casually, before turning her attention to Nezrain.
She listens attentively, her true SeeD nature showing through, and nods in understanding as she speaks. However when Nezrain mentions who their client was, Aki's eyes narrow slightly and a grimace appears on her face. It was no secret that Aki disliked Galbadia very much; even though she was always willing to give people a chance, she certainly didn't put much trust in the Galbadian government, or their Garden.
"And what exactly are they requesting?" she asks, regaining her composure.

Komet eager to catch up with Aki, started only to be cut off by the words "Business actually".
He blinked and quickly took a seat to listen. Taking Nezrains look of suspicion before hearing the new employer was Galbadia. This didn't bother him too much except last time he was hired by Galbadia, he had to fight a gross giant monster that they felt was to dangerous for the Galbadian Garden. Bitches.
Komet listened on to hear the severity of the mission, holding his opinions till later.

Her professionalism showing through, Nezrain nodded gravely and explained.
"In this media-sensitive situation, we have been contracted by the Galbadian Army to secure and halt the actions of a rouge faction of soldiers. Due to their distinguished reputation as a stringently trained and dedicated military force, they have tried to keep the matter as quiet as possible, restricting information and media leaks. Because their reputation is at stake, rather than contracting with Galbadia Garden, they have contacted us in an effort to further restrict the spread of any intel on the current situation, as well as avoid having their own troops fight one another. As it should go without saying, it is a confidential matter, and requires diligent discretion. "
"I realize it seems like we're doing Galbadia's dirty work, but Garden's reasoning in taking it was to try an strengthen our relationship with them and garner some good faith. Anyway, it's a damage control situation more or less." She didn't sound happy about it, just matter of fact. In all honesty, she realized it wasn't the kind of mission that left a fresh taste in anyone's mouth.

Aki remains silent for a few moments after Nezrain pauses, though her brows were furrowed in an obviously concerned way.
"Well, if they are desperate enough to ask for our help, then I will, however grudgingly, give it. Perhaps it will help strengthen our relationship and maybe teach the Galbadians that some of their, ah.. actions are indeed wrong, as I have been trying to get across to them for years now. Though, we shall see..." she says, her gaze fixed on her desk.
After another few moments, Aki finally looks up at Nezrain and says, "When do we leave?"

Interrupting Aki, Komet cut in. "Before we leave, 'Damage control'?" Komet said with slight sarcasm before continuing "Can we define this or are we going to ponder this phrase till we get there?"

"It's a matter of sparing Galbadia their pride, and also keeping the rogue unit from causing any more harm to its own country. It would look really bad if SeeDs from Galbadia Garden were fighting their own military, and worse still, it would really damage their faith in their government."

Content with the answer given Komet replied in a better tone "Hm... It doesn't sound too bad. I also need to buy some new seasons clothes and Galbadia has got great shopping."
"Sooner we leave the better... For catching the rogue, I mean"
Standing, ready to follow. Glad that he wouldn't have to fight anything slimy.
