Perseus Devoncroix Vice Captain

Perseus's room was simple, and cozy. He wasn't a flashy type of person. He didn't try to impress anyone. The room was always heated to a warm temperature. It created an almost relaxing enviroment. His room was painted beige. It wasn't a sunshiny color, but it wasn't deppressing either. This was how Perseus was his emotions are always at an equilibrium. He had a dress that was made of a dark wood, and on top of it was a small flat screen television. On the opposite side of the room was a desk with a lamp, and next to that was a piano which was probably the only fancy looking thing in the room.
Perseus opens the door then closes it behind him. His room was like his escape. Although there were some people that he didn't want to escape from. Taking of his jacket and shirt he reveals his toned body, and he lays down on his bed. He takes off his hat before putting his head on the pillow. He throws it, and it lands on top of his piano. He lets out a deep sigh, and then holds his crescent moon necklace. He closes his eyes for a moment just to relax his tense muscles.

Atilius walked in quietly and sat down on the piano bench. The piano had been a surprise gift, only so he could play for Perseus. As he was about to play , he noticed the hat a slipped it on. As the first notes hit the sound was beautiful and filled the room. As the song ended he turned around an looked onward towards the bed.

His eyes opened as the song ended, and turned his head on the pillow to look at Atilius. His lips smiled in that famous half smirk of his as he stared at Atilius. He broke his gaze, and looked up at the ceiling with one arm behind his head while his other hand still touched his necklace.

Hex walks in slowly, not making a sound as he looks around the room, He had half a mind to yawn and interupt the silence but he would refrain from such borish acts. Instead he gave a smile to both Perseus and Atilius, and then without warning his entire body was engulfed in red japanese maple leaves, which swirled around him for a momment, they then deteriotated into a green energy that left a warm, safe feeling in the room, while Hex himself had disappeared.

Perseus raised an eyebrow as Hex just walked in without a warning. Not saying a word he watched as Hex suddenly vanished. After a moment Perseus says "I have a dislike of people who show off." He chuckled slightly, and patted the bed for Atilius to sit next to him.

Hex poked his head back in the room through the slightly open door. "What no hi? Hm Perseus?" He walked in fully now, shutting the door behind him. "I duely apologise though for being so flashy, its just my thing, ya' know?" He said as he walked slowly towards Atilius and put an arm around his shoulder, slightly leaning on him despite the fact that Hex was shorter than him, he gave a caring smile to Perseus as he clung to Atilius as if he was his best bud. His golden blonde hair was slicked back at the top, three loose strands hung forward, while there were also a few braids on the top. He looked at Persues with his serene crystal blue eyes, which seemed to be the only thing that offsetted his appearance as the only blue in his outfit. He turned his attention to Atilius and motioned for him to sit next to Perseus. "I think he wants you to sit next to 'im mate" His half British, half Australian accent shown through for a second as he spoke. He sat down on the piano chair so that Atilius would be free to do so, but all the while he didn't keep his eyes off him.
Hex swung his right leg over his left, crossing them as a girl would when sitting, His clean white converse-like knee high boots had long black shoelaces and complimented his jacket nicely. His attention was still on Atilius, his eyes seemed glazed over as if he was 'zoneing' or dazed, perhaps daydreaming. What ever it was he was not fully there mentally, though he was still highly aware of his surroundings his mind was elsewhere thinking about something. A small warm smile creased his lips as he sat stone still, staring off at Atilius, even if he wasn't looking at Atilius in specific he was looking in his direction.

Looking at Hex as he sat there for that small moment with him. As Atilius got up from the bench he grabbed the tip of his hat with his finger tips then pulled it off quickly and threw it onto Perseus's head. Before sitting he crossed his legs then simply fell onto the bed next to Perseus.So tell me Hex, what brings you here? Atilius knew Hex since he had joined the pack. Not long ago he had a spar with him to see if he was even worth bringing into the pack, unfortunately Atilius had to admit he was pretty good. Atilius looked to Hex and couldn't help but read his emotions. As he looked he had a look of shock, and his face went slightly red, It was good that he wasn't facing Perseus.

Noticing Hex's eyes being planted on Atilius a slight tension rose, but Perseus kept himself in check. He sat up with leg bent upward, and the other crossed on the bed. His gaze landed on Hex, and Perseus felt his own body heat rise in slight anger, but it wasn't visible as of yet. Perseus was over protective when it came to Atilius. Perseus put his hand on top of his hat, and still stared at Hex. "Yeah, what does bring you here?" Bringing his hand down onto the bed he kept his composure not letting his emotions become noticable, not that it would matter since Atilius would see right through it anyway.

"Calmness is key when talking to friends Perseus."Atilius had looked up feeling the rise in his emotions, he was not planning on changing them in anyway, but he warred him. " Just because he is not your friend, dose not mean he is not one of my friends. Now Hex, please do tell us."His sentence had somewhat trialled off leaving the ending open.

Atilius's words calmed Perseus's rise in tension. He took a breathe, and looked down at Atilius. Perseus nodded his head. Atilius never had a reason to control Perseus's emotions, however there was always times when Perseus needed a reminder of how to act around others. Perseus looked at Hex then laid down again with his hat tilted forward enough to cover his eyes.

Hex's eyes regained their colour as the glaze ended, he looked to Atilius and Perseus with such a sweet, innocent smile it almost seemed out of character. This smile was an honest one though, such a thing was genuine and came with good news. "I wanted to inform you Atilius, I've been givin' a rank , I'm a Leutenant in the Devoncroix Elite under Lady Prufalas." Hex spoke with such enthusiam as if this delighted him, and it did, It made him quite happy. Hex couldn't help but notice the look he was given by Perseus, perhaps there was something about them he didn't know? What ever the case may be, it might turn out to be something important later on.
Hex stood up for a momment, he used this angle to look into Perseus' eyes. He surely didn't like Hex to much, that part was obvious, but the reasoning behind it would be interesting to find out, something Hex was good at was information retrieval, and any other subject that might have to do with hunting, as he loved to hunt. He glanced back to Atilius, the entire time his smile had not faded until now, with a more caring gesture on his face he sat back down. Hex didn't care if Perseus liked him or not, it was never Hex's intentions to be liked by everyone, and he wouldn't go out of his way and do things to make others like him, it wasn't his style. But if in the future they were to become friends, he would deffinatly like that.

From the corner of his eye Perseus just watched being to embarrassed to speak after the sudden anger flash he had. He acknowledged Hex for the achievement of lieutenant, but refrained from saying anything. He would work under Hex. It was nice to know that he had a new superior.

Hex suddenly looked a bit sad though, for a momment he was turely saddened by something, but this soon faded and he put on a confident smile again. "Please don't think of me as a superior, if your below me... I hate that." He spoke the truth to, he hated when those below him thought of him as a superior instead of an equal. It made him feel uneccissarily strong, he didn't like that feeling at all. He was truely an odd person, he hated his strength unless he needed to use it to protect the pack, he would never fight at full strength unless truely needed.

An awkward silence filled the room. Perseus was at a loss of words. He just didn't know how to respond to that. After a moment of thinking it over he spoke "Nice to know...partner." He chuckled, and then a knock was heard from the door. Perseus raised his eyebrow since that had been the first time today someone had actually knocked before coming in. He smiled his signature half-smile, and in one swift motion he rocked up to his feet and leaped off the bed tilting his hat back. He opened the door, and Cynthia stood on the other side her aquamarine eyes glanced around. "I'll come back later if I'm interrupting something."

" Hunh?? who's there?"He saw Perseus already at the door and sighed wondering how much he had missed.
