"..." Mugen looked around, running a hand through his grey hair. "... Okay... I think this was the... No... I know I've been this way before."

~An hour earlier~

Mugen knocked gently on the door to the dorm he'd be sharing with... Cerbe was the name he'd read on his C.A.M.P rooming assignment sheet. When he heard nothing, Mugen decided to use his key to unlock the door, knocking again as he cracked the door open. "Hello?" He called out rather softly, not wanting to cause commotion for anyone doing something or sleeping... Even though it was 2 PM.

"Hello." He called again as he opened the door wider, when no one answered again he decided it was safe to just walk in. It took him a few moments to scan the room layout before him. It didn't look to bad, but the main surprise was that he was standing alone in the room. He scanned a bit more, taking in the rest of the main area of the dorm. It looked roomie enough, figuring there'd be enough space to let Cerbe and himself live together easily.

"Guess he's out," Mugen said to himself as he dragged the rest of his stuff in with him, nothing excessive. Mugen had always been a light traveler, taking the basics to deal with; a few sets of clothing, some shampoo, toothbrush, anything you'd expect someone to pack with the intent to live somewhere for a long period of time. The main difference was his small collection of books by his favorite author, R.A. Salvatore. He had almost every book the writer had ever written, only taking the few he hadn't gotten to read through yet while the rest were left at home with his family to send with him later. He also carried a shoulder bag, it carried his school essentials, some notebooks, a collection of writing utensils, etc.

Taking his things to his room, Mugen opened what appeared to be the bedroom door, once more knocking before entering. He was lucky that the room he picked seemed like it was for him. No personal items littered the floor, and it seemed like it hadn't been lived in by anyone yet. After tossing his stuff on the bed, Mugen decided he should go do some looking around, figuring he'd check out where his dorm was in relation to whatever else he wanted to eventually do.

One thing about Mugen was, he was definitely a man, maps were for chumps. The result of that mentality was that the moment he'd obtained the map of the school grounds, the mythic serpant male crumpled the paper up and shoved it in his pocket.

"Better go before it gets to late," Mugen had said to himself before heading out the door, being a night person sure, but he knew that he'd be given a curfew, and he wasn't in the mood to rock the boat and get into trouble on his first day just because he'd have preferred to go out at night to avoid other students.

~The present~

Mugen had finished scratching his head, having remembered the map of the grounds he'd shoved in his pocket. "I guess they do have..." He stopped as he pulled the map out to look at it. The reason Mugen had cut himself off, was the sheet of crumpled up paper he unfolded to look at, was nearly illegible. All his wandering, mixed with the tightness of his pants and amount he'd been walking, left the map's contents almost completely worn down.

"... Stupid map!" Mugen shouted before throwing the re crumpled piece of paper off into the distance.
