The main fortress of the Demon Race. A lot of them live here, including Valora, Therynle and Haruko, as well as any prisoners they may keep alive for later torture.

Warm hands make me s t r o n g.
Past the piled up feelings, I run to the sky.
Becoming like the wind this w i s h dries the tears.
The released strength becomes a piercing sword. ☾ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☽  xxxx xxxx Surely the end is a song of the beginning,
a song of a bird flapping its wings.
Not losing sight of the meaning of battle, it becomes a prayer to the stars.
My very tightly connected heart will definitely never forget.
The certain thing is that we start a journey now.
In the light of dawn, smiling...
Without looking back, let’s go.  If people thought they knew what Sherra was like when she was angry, then they would've been in shock if they were to see her now. It was taking all of her self control to keep her from barging into that base and taking her child back, no matter how many demons she had to slaughter in the process. Monsters were by nature rather possessive. When they decided that someone or something was theirs, then anyone who dared to take it from them was severely punished. In Sherra's case, that basically was Levi and Kurou. She tried to keep herself from getting too attached to things, but it was rather hard not to in their cases. As a result, it made holding herself back even more difficult.
"So how do you suggest we get in? You would know if there were hidden entrances, right?" she asked Levi. She hadn't brought the amulet with her, so disguises were out of the question, and she couldn't act that well in this emotional state anyway. They just needed to get in there before they did anything to Kurou. Sherra wasn't sure if she would be able to forgive herself if they hurt him; it was her job to make sure that didn't happen. And she hadn't done a thing to stop them from taking him. I notice something like warmth there next to me.
As if like a flower it’s always drawing close.
I became aware of what the true treasure is.
Twice now I’ve found my way, for y o u r sake, for m y sake.

Luckily they were still hidden behind the trees, since there were guards standing at the doors. "They're guarding it..." He mumbled, his golden eyes narrowing in irritation.

It was too bad there wasn't an ounce of human blood in her. Nothing would have pleased the woman more than to take the building out with a Dragon Slave, once they had gotten Kuriou out. She wasn't that stupid. But despite these thoughts she was too logical to behave that rashly. Even now, she was waiting for Levi to give his consent or refusal. If she messed up here, then the demons would know they'd come to take the boy back and speed up whatever plans they had for him. Sherra bit the inside of her cheek, as the possibilities flooded her mind, and she tried to shake off the unnerving thoughts. I notice something like warmth there next to me.

If they could cast a spell without getting too close, then it'd be very good. They needed to get into the building without much demons figuring out. "Sherra... you have good aim, right? Can you take them both out with one blow? We need to be able to sneak in without all the demons knowing..."

Without looking back, let’s go. Sherra smirked slightly; so he was giving her permission, eh? At least she could take out a bit of her anger. "That'll be almost too easy." she answered confidently. She mumbled a few words under her breath, waiting until she could hit both at once. There was only a quick gasp from the guards before the burst of magic and flames crashed into them, giving no time to sound any alarm. She'd held back a little, so the door hadn't been blown into the building. "Bull's Eye! Come on, let's keep going..." she said, getting to her feet. I notice something like warmth there next to me.

It was dark at the entrance, but he didn't mind it. He was used to it, after all, having been in the place for centuries before. I can't sense Kurou. He must be far in. After Sherra rescuing him years ago, as well as Xellos and Cerras sneaking in for the book, it was only natural for them to make their base more secure. but still, it bugged him.

Sherra frowned slightly; she had been hoping that they would be able to get Kurou out quickly. This was going to be a pain for her. "Where would they put him, though?" she asked. Kurou wasn't a traitor like Levi. He had no connection to the Demon Race. What could they possibly want with him?

" I don't know..." Levi mumbled, "But those cells... most of everyone the demons capture go there..." His frown deepened. "Lets hurry."

Sherra nodded. "Yeah..." the idea of Kurou in those cells bothered her deeply. She hadn't forgotten what had happened to Levi in there. And Kurou was only a child. He wouldn't be able to handle it like he did. She hurried down one of the halls that seemed familiar. They needed to get to Kurou as quickly as possible. At least they both knew the way now.

Kurou was cooped up in one of the cells, already stained with blood from being tortured. His whole body hurt, and not much had been done... he lied down on the ground sleepily, but only reopened the wounds he had. Kurou winced, before starting to sob. No matter how stubborn he was, he was still a kid at heart.

As they got further down, Sherra had an easier time sensing Kurou. She slowed down however as they got closer to where the cells were. There had to be guards here. If not then it wouldn't even be worth her time to kill them. Of course she didn't know that Kurou was hurt; she couldn't smell blood.

They don't even have guards here. He thought to himself, making his way into the cell room. Narrowing down to only Kurou's presence, he walked through the room, stopping near a cell. Kurou was curled up on the ground, covered in blood, and he was trembling. Just like the time when Cerras found Lazuli before. Hearing footsteps, Kurou let out a scream of fear, and hid as far as he could into the cell. his eyes were widened into slits as well. Leviathan's eyes widened. What had they done to him? "Kurou...Kurou, calm down..."

Sherra quickly unlocked the cell door by magic and slowly made her way over to where he was hiding. "It's okay, Kurou...it's just us..." she said quietly, looking directly at him. "Come on out..."

He walked over to the boy, taking him into his arms. "This is why you need to be more careful..." Leviathan mumbled with a weak smiled.
