Located on Wolf Pack Island far out in the Demon Sea where no one can find it. Most of the monsters live here. Large enough to be considered a castle really.

☪ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☪  There was no sound as the large wooden doors moved aside, allowing the young general to enter the mansion. She'd grown up quite a bit over the years, though a few things had remained the same. Her blue hair was still in a braid and she still hated frills and skirts more than anything. Sherra glanced around the mansion slowly, removing the travel cloak from her head and letting the loose material drape around her shoulders. She'd been away for the last three months or so, on an important mission from Grausherra. It was supposed to only be a month, but things hadn't gone as nicely as she had predicted.
The woman let out a small sigh as she went up the stairs following the aura of the other inhabitants. "Hello?!!" she called out once she was close enough, figuring whoever hadn't sensed her presence would now be aware of her return.

When he heard his mother come into his building, he strapped them back onto his back, running up and hugging her. "Welcome home, Ma!" He shouted out happily, before seeing Levi come up behind him. Leviathan was about to speak, before Kurou took out his scissors and began chasing him again.
Ayame was outside, wandering the area outside the mansion with her brother, Ryuu. She stayed close to him, knowing how protective he could be at times. "Isn't it pretty out here, Ryuu~?" She questioned happily, petting one of Zelas's wolves.

☪ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☪ Sherra smile widened a bit when she saw the little boy coming around the corner. He was as full of energy as always. She returned the hug, laughing quietly. "Thanks, Kurou. I hope you were behaving while--" before she could finish the boy tore after Levi, brandishing his rather unusually large scissors. She still wasn't sure where he'd gotten those. Sherra watched the scene blankly for a moment, not sure if she should laugh or try to help Leviathan.
"Yeah, it's nice..." the boy replied. He was already old enough to not admit to things like nature being pretty. He glanced around their surroundings, debating over which path to take. They'd been given a specific route by their parents, so they wouldn't get into any trouble. The wolves had been an extra precaution. He'd been hoping to go a little further out, just for the fun of it. But those plans had gone out the window when his father had suggested bringing Ayame along. He loved his sister, but she was the one that tended to stick to the rules more.

And it was just a joke!
Ayame blinked, she never understood why her brother was so silent. She looked around, before pointing in a certain direction. "That way! Let's go that way!" She smiled.

☪ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☪ The general shook her head slowly, and then went after her son and Leviathan. They always seemed to be going at it like this; it got on her nerves after a while. She teleported slightly ahead of Kurou, and blocked the blades with her scabbard. "It's dangerous to run with scissors. And I think you recall what happened the last time you chased your father around the mansion." Sherra said calmly. There had been some damage and Zelas had been less than thrilled about it. Of course Sherra had been held accountable for it; the monster lord wasn't in any position to punish the child. "And why are you trying to attack him anyway?"
Xellos glanced up slowly from his book, hearing the sound of running on the floor above him. The priest let out a small sigh, and then set aside the book. Kurou must be after Leviathan again. This was starting to become a daily occurrence around here. He left his study and then preceeded down the hall towards Cerras's room. Today was the anniversary of Lazuli's death, and he tended to worry about her most on this day. She'd been affected rather badly by it, and Xellos was beginning to worry that she wouldn't ever recover. He went up to her door, knocking quietly. "Cerras?" he called out, hoping she would answer him.
Ryuu glanced down the direction his sister was pointing. He hadn't gone that way yet; it looked rather promising. "Alright. Let's go." he said, leading the way down the path.

bit down on his lower lip when he was stopped, giving a shake of the head. "He keeps annoying me.. " He mumbled, hanging his head. "And it was just a joke..."
Cerras wiped the tears from her golden eyes when she heard a knock on the door, soon followed by Xellos's voice. "Please go away, Xellos..." She replied softly, bringing her knees close to her, hiding her face. She didn't want anyone to see her cry... even when it had been years, it felt like a few days since Lazuli's death; and she was still real sensitive with the subject.
Ayame smiled brightly, and followed her brother down the path. She had no idea what day it was, because she was never informed of Lazuli at all. And even when her father always suggested for them to leave on that day, she thought nothing of it.

☪ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☪ Sherra let out a small sigh. "Even so, you need to be respectful." she said quietly. She was used to Kurou's behavior, and normally was a bit more gentle about scolding. But after returning late from her rather stressful mission she wasn't in the most cheerful of moods. And it didn't help what today was.
Xellos frowned slightly at Cerras's response. He'd been expecting something like this. She was very emotional and distant when this day came. That was why he would send the kids away. He knew she would hate for them to see her like this. They'd also neglected to mention Lazuli for that same reason. "You sure you want to be alone?"
The road ahead slowly became more rugged, and Ryuu slowed his pace to help Ayame if she needed it. He was used to this sort of thing, since most of his time was spent exploring the island. He'd already found Xellos's favorite cliff; it hadn't been a very easy climb, but he'd managed. This was approximately the same direction, so they might come across it. He preferred the more difficult way though.

Cerras was silent for a few moments, thinking of an answer. Her mind was just in complete panic, thinking silly things like "what if Lazuli was still alive?", and they bothered her. Whenever she came close to finishing a thought, she had forgotten what it was she was going to say. "Um... yeah... I think I'll be fine..." She answered. It was obvious she was unsure whether she should be alone or not at the moment; she was unsure if it would change either way.
Ayame ran into Ryuu when he suddenly slowed down, not really paying attention at the moment. "Oh, sorry, Ryuu.." She mumbled.

☾ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☽ Her expression softened when she saw the boy's face, and gently patted her son's head in reassurance. She could get away with the gesture, since she was known for her rather short temper. "It's fine, Kurou....I just don't want you to get into any trouble." she told him. The improvements in her maturity were most obvious when she was with the boy; she wouldn't have reacted this way a few years ago. She then smiled over at Levi, she was rather happy to see him again; it had been several months since the last time she was at the mansion.
Xellos could sense her uncertainty, and quietly went into the room. He walked over towards the bed, stopping a few feet from her. He didn't want to get too close in case that upset her more. It was rather difficult to predict her behavior when she was like this.
Ryuu glanced over his shoulder, smiling at his sister. "It's fine Ayame." he replied. "But I wouldn't advice spacing out here. There's no telling what we may run into." They'd been told many times about the lesser monsters that lived on this island, and how they would be torn to shreds -though the term used was killed- if they got too close to where they lived. And since this was a new area to him, he wasn't sure if there would be any around.

"I'm not going to get into any trouble, I just need some practice! I'm going outside!" He shouted out happily, before running off. Leviathan smiled back, giving a wave. "Should we follow after him?" He questioned.
Cerras could hear Xellos walk into the room, and barely peaked her head up to look at him. "X-Xellos... " She mumbled, as she began to tear up even more.
Ayame seemed surprised by what Ryuu said, having forgotten about the lesser monsters they were told about. She hadn't been listening to well. "Right... I forgot.... "

Sherra smiled slightly, and then nodded. "alright. Stay close to the mansion." she called out after him, and then turned back to Levi. So much for a big welcome back. She couldn't help but expect something after how long she'd been gone. At complain that she was late. Oh well; it probably would have happened if Kurou hadn't been after him. "I suppose we should keep an eye on him; just in case." she said.
Xellos looked down at her silently, not liking that she was crying. He sat down on the bed next to her, placing his hand on her head. He was not really sure what to say to comfort her. He had learned a long time ago that telling her it would be okay could only help so much.
The purple haired boy shook his head slowly. Sometimes his sister could be a bit spacey. "Well try to stay close. I'd prefer to not have to run to save you."

Leviathan smiled, "Then let's go, Sherra." He murmured, grabbing onto her hand and following after Kurou silently. It'd be best if he didn't know they were following, otherwise he'd just complain.
Cerras pouted, she knew Xellos was trying to comfort her, and it made her feel a bit guilty. He couldn't help her. It wouldn't leave her head... the day of Lazuli's death.
Ayame gave a nervous smile, before nodding. "Right, brother." She murmured, agreeing with him completely.

Past the piled up feelings, I run to the sky.

The released strength becomes a piercing sword. ☾ 𝔖𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔯𝔞 ☽ xxxx xxxx Surely the end is a song of the beginning,
a song of a bird flapping its wings.
Not losing sight of the meaning of battle, it becomes a prayer to the stars.
My very tightly connected heart will definitely never forget.
The certain thing is that we start a journey now.
In the light of dawn, smiling...
Without looking back, let’s go.  Sherra returned the smile with a small one of her own, and then followed behind him. It was times like this that she noticed just how short she was compared to him. Normally it never came to her attention. But walking beside him like this made it really obvious. They were still a good distance from Kurou so he wouldn't be able to hear them. "You're not going to complain about how late I am?" she asked after a while.
Xellos simply remained there; he wasn't sure what else he could really do for her at this point. She wasn't going to let it go and move on. None of them would. Ever since the girl was killed there was a large cloud of gloom hanging over the manor. It wasn't just Cerras, everyone had taken the loss hard. He hadn't really seen Phibrizzo since that day, and he couldn't help but wonder if the child Lord was taking this as badly as Cerras or if his grief was worse. Even Zelas Metallium felt the weight of the loss, though she tried to brush it off as 'pitying the loss of such potential'. She wouldn't admit to caring, since she had barely seen the girl. She was probably only reacting to the emotions he and the rest of the monsters were experiencing.
As he had predicted, the path did get more difficult, almost more than he was used to. Ryuu made sure to go slow, so he could help Ayame if she stumbled or lost her footing. The wolves also went slower, since they'd been ordered specifically to guard the twins. He could see the cliff coming into view and smirked slightly. His sister hadn't been with him when he'd gone up there the first time -and he had a feeling that she would've had trouble with that climb. Even if they weren't completely alike, there was no way she could not like the view. It was quite a sight. I notice something like warmth there next to me.
As if like a flower it’s always drawing close.

Leviathan glanced back at her when she spoke, that same smile on his lips. "I can't always be with you," He murmured, "I know that now. we both have things we'll have to do, and we have to believe in eachothers strength." He paused, "But of course, I missed you."
"Xellos..?" Cerras mumbled quietly inbetween sobs, her brows furrowed in sadness. It was clear that she was hesitant to speak, she thought it was a silly thought, but she couldn't get it out of her head. What if there was a possibility? "Do you think there may be a possibility that Lazuli's out there... somewhere...?" She questioned, looking to him.
Ayame's face lit up at the sight of the cliff, but then she glanced blankly down at the path in front of them, they would have to climb up? "So... we're... climbing?" It was obvious they would have to to get to the top, but she was thinking too much about the possibility of falling.
