Race: Celestial (most likely fourth stage; Divine, or chosen; Revealed)
Age: Depending on where this fits on the timeline, anywhere from 600 to 1400, 1600 to 1950, or 2100 to 5000.
Inherent Capabilities: Well, consider him gifted in Light-based magic. Used as a weapon, a means for non-combat magic, etc.
Racial Qualities: Celestials are powerful, yes, but frail as can be. Often times, a Celestial will take a single hit, and is practically crippled, and very soon out of a fight altogether. Arannis stood leaning against a tree, gazing out at a nearby meadow, only half-interested in his surroundings.
(It's simple enough to make an approach, no?)

Lexi was in the tree above him, looking down. She smirks, and jumps off, landing directly in front of him. she spreads her wings in, and waits for a reaction.

Arannis stared blankly at Lexi, though his eyes did come over in a golden flame after a short time. His face betrayed nothing. No emotions, no thoughts visible.
"What business do you have with me...? Why are you here?"

Lexi smirks, her deep brown eyes just stared at him. " Celistial... Correct..?" she said, still not taking her gaze away. " I am a fallen. Natural born enemy."

"You do realize, don't you... that my time is foretold to come nearly 26 centuries from now? I am not your average Celestial, surely you know this."
His eyes blazed brighter, his arms coming to each side and out as his entire body took a similar flare.
"And yet I suspect that you could hardly care any less. Such is the case with the countless others that I have slain against my better judgment. Fortune, however, has never smiled upon me. I learn to accommodate myself in my actions. If you are so truly my enemy, then come. Strike at me."

Lexi didn't move. She sighs instead... " Yes, I do know. i am not stupid, boy!" She hissed. Lexi was still weak from falling, and landing in that tree. But, whatever. Lexi sweeps his legs, and rams him into a tree.

Arannis came down to the ground, gasping slightly.
"Why, then... do you hunt me so?"
Arannis' skin turned slightly grayer, and far more lustrous, as he formed an iron-skin over it. He stood, and turned to face Lexi.
"You are well aware that fate would determine me the victor, unless you plan for this conflict to last for multiple millenia. Are you so desperate to throw your life aside?"

She growls. " My life is not important." She Yelled. And pushes her hands out, causing energy to blast from them.

Again, Arannis took the hit, the iron shell vanishing instantly as he came blasted against the very same tree he had been forced into earlier. He came down to his hands and knees, significantly weakened, and tears coming from both eyes.
"You speak so lowly of yourself... I have lived for countless years, and I have learned as time goes... that no living soul, however corrupt, is unimportant. Each enemy fallen, adds to my inward pain. Each life undone, a torment beyond compare..."
He looked up to Lexi.
"Would that fate could allow my downfall, I would gladly accept it, though I am given no choice.... I will not fight this day. For year after year, I have not seen rest as the days go by. I am never given a moment's peace, so it seems. Leave me be, and do not return..."

Lexi dropped her hands, along with her head, she looks at the ground. " OK..." Lexi said, softly. She spread her long wings, which was stained with blood. when she spread them to the full length, she flinches, with pain. without looking at Arannis, She slowly flies up.

Arannis' voice could barely be heard above the wind, before he lost the strength in his arms, unable to keep himself up at all any longer, as he fell flat to the ground.
"Why am I doomed so...?"

Lexi Falls, right back to where she was... " OK, Problem... I can't fly..." She muttered. Lexi spreads one of the wings out, and saw missing feathers, and a bent broken wing. She sighs, and stood, having her wings lower. It was obvious she was in pain.
