I'm considering having my poetry published, but was wondering if I would have to remove any that I've posted here or in other guilds. Would publishers consider it previously published because I've posted them? I have other poems, but I've been posting my best works online.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you do. Although, hey, they'd never know unless you TOLD them, that it's posted in guilds on some social website, right?
Anyway, if you do publish them, that's one book to add to the list of ones that I want in my personal library. (Well, it's really more like a shelf or two of the various books I've read already and anime magazines and some manga... But yeah. Also it's still in the garage and I still don't have any shelves.)

I suggest removing them. In the fine print I'm pretty sure it says that anything on Gaia is owned by Gaia. At least, that's the way it is with most sites. So if you want it published, I suggest removing it from wherever you posted it. I personally only ever post poems that I need help on online to ensure both that I can use the piece in the future without worrying about copyright and without worrying that it might have been plagiarized, because people totally do that all the time.
It's not that I don't trust you people, it's other people on here that I am not so sure about.

Thanks guys! I guess I'll remove them to be on the safe side. But I'll wait until I've found out what I'm going to do and how. I'm still looking into it, really. I want to know what I'm getting into before just jumping in.
