That he likes me.
Since moving to California, (been only 3 months or so) he's only one of the few good friends I've made so far. By far the closest too.
I just don't want to lose him as a friend, relationships ******** them up. But now that he has confessed to me, I know there's going to be tense air. It sucks because I like him too. I'm thinking of just avoiding the whole trouble and telling him I don't like him that way.
I've lost so many good friends due to relationships (only once did it come out mutual and became bff).
Should I lie and say I don't like him that way?

if you like him, you should go for it. if you like him but are too busy for a boyfriend, tell him you like him but you can't right now.

If you're not actually serious about the relationship, don't tell him, it's not fair to lead him on and then you be really busy or distracted.
But otherwise, if you feel the same and you're ready to be in relationship right now, go for it. 3nodding

But otherwise, if you feel the same and you're ready to be in relationship right now, go for it. 3nodding Exactly. I don't want to be like "Oh I like you too but um, no I won't go out with you." or confess and go out and s**t don't happen. I've lost a lot of friends either way. :/
