Trying to bring some life back to us here [obvious zombie joke har har]... Anyway, it's a fabulous little series, my favorite comic of all time. Even making a television series out of it on AMC sometime soon. Just figured I'd throw it out there and see if there are any other fans here, maybe try to enlighten some who were unaware of it.

You will get addicted. You''l laugh, you'll cry, but mostly.. you'll spend all your money. Seriously. It would take either 5 books plus (3?) issues, 12 volumes plus 5 issues, or 75 issues to catch up to current story. I've blown close to $300 on Walking Dead memorabilia and comics lol... but I'm a nerd. Anyway, yes, find it and enjoy it. I wish for people with which I can converse about it, as only I and one other in my area read it. XD

The show.. seems like it would be good of its own merits. I probably had my expectations too high lol. But the comics are soooo much better.

Once you follow further into the story, the decisions are explained pretty well, it'll all make a decent amount of sense in the end. Or at least be good enough that you can see how the idea was plausible at the time.

I actually have been following the show, I wasn't aware of it's existance as a comic. I like the show because it's not so cut and dry. The sheriff (whose name escapes me) didn't just say, oh there are zombies, o.k., and they take into account the sound of the gunshots in their actions, one of my favorite features of the series so far.

Well I have yet to pick up the comic, but I watch the show every Friday. It's impressive, a nice edition to the genre I think.

They've had to change a LOT of the stuff, even going so far as adding new characters and omitting others for the sake of... well, being able to air the show lol. It's a completely different experience in the comics, trust me, well worth reading whether you like comics or not.
