Were you diagnosed on your birthday also? Or in the hospital on your birthday?
I just wanted to see how many of you have been since I have and I heard someone else has.

I got mine after Christmas day. It was an interesting way to spend the holiday break to say the least. Around six months before my birthday though, so no where near close to it.

I had actually heard that one of the most common age periods for getting type 1 was around adolescence, specifically in the summer and winter months.
I'm not sure if there was much merit to it though but it was interesting.
