So with all of the STUNNING avatars in the GCD, and the GCD all assembled in one place, with topics other than Gaia, why don't we make a group entry for the original arena? c:
I was thinking of an adventurer theme, but that can be subject to change by replies in this thread. You can interpret this however you want, whether it being matching, themed, scenic, etc.
So... post your idea, tekteks, your approval, blessing, whatever. And let's hope this doesn't fail, and let's hope we win (if we get assembled!)

Oh I'd love to take part! I might use my current avatar or I could take out my steampunk outfit if we were leaning more towards airship adventurers. This sounds like great fun. 4laugh

Adventurer could be interpreted in many different ways. You could be a monster, a salesperson, a swordsmaster, a person in need, THAT ANNOYING ENEMY THAT WILL NOT DIE

While your avatar is dressed like a black magic user, the background seems more like the kind of place were you'd find a fairy or some kind of white mage. For the avatar you have now, prehaps a darker background would work better? Thats just my opinion, I'm far from an avatar expert myself. sweatdrop Just a suggestion, but I was thinking one thing we could do is have each person pick a character class, (black mage, dragoon etc) and try and make the best avatar they can around that theme. When everyone has their avatars ready, we could all write a story about this band of travellers, maybe even making one or two extra avatars as monsters or villians they fight along the way. I remember a while ago there was a thread all about making zOMG avatars in the AT created by a guy named Chainmail. It gave detailed outlines on how to make your avatar look a magic user, a warrior, a defensive type etc. Unfortunately Chainmail has gone on hiatus, but personally I always thought he was a master when it came to themed fantasy avatars. I'll try and find the thread, if ye like have a read through it-you might pick up some good hints or ideas. I'm definitely going to scrounge up an avatar. I remember when the group of circus people stole the arena XD
Edit: How's this? I'm an adventuring musician! I made it look sorta medieval because when I think adventuring, that's what I see. I'll make it more modern if you want.
Edit edit: Actually, I'm thinking about being a monster. Anyone have ideas?
