Some people say “Only the good die young.” And maybe they do. But in the end, the bad are the ones who end up in hell. But what if they were shown the error of their ways? What if, in the end, they chose a different path? What is they were given one last chance to make things right?
To escape their previously inevitable fate, the group must play a game with Hades. If they win, they will be sent back to Earth, with the promise of Heaven after death. But if they lose, they will be forced to spend an eternity in Hell.

~Story~ (Roleplay will pick up where the story ends) They all were stunned into silence. A blinding light shone through the trees. Some of them put a hand up to shield their eyes. They had just finished robbing another house. This one had been more complicated than the last. The man of the house, who they hadn’t realized was home, had heard them and come downstairs. He didn’t have a chance. The last thing he saw was the shine of a gun, and figures dressed in all black standing in his living room. Once the gun was fired, the group fled from the house and hid in the woods only a mile away. Now they all stood, confused and amazed, as the light came closer. None of them had enough sense to run. The light reached the small clearing where they were gathered. Swirls of color seemed to drift around it. That was when they heard the voice. You have all been chosen. It boomed. You will be given a second chance. The mist of colors began to surround them. If you can escape Hell, you will be spared. None of the group spoke up. They were all awestruck. The mist swirled violently around them, until the trees beyond it weren’t visible. As the group watched, Red, Orange, and Black became the dominant colors and the grass of the clearing was scorched, revealing black rock. The light seemed to disappear as quickly as it had come, taking the mist with it. The group, shocked at their new surroundings, looked around, taking in Hades’s realm.

Riley rubbed the side of her head and looked around. “What the he-” she stopped abruptly, recognizing the bad pun. The group stood around her, all of them still dressed in all black. She scowled, surveying her surroundings. It was uncomfortably hot, and there was a pathway etched in black stone, leading to a looming castle, made of the same black stone. The sky was a mixture of flaming red and orange. Around them, buildings were scattered. Agonized screams emanated from a few of them. Riley stood up straight and squared her shoulders, ignoring the fact that there was a small amount of sweat on her forehead. “We’re going to the castle.” She announced, her fingers twitching toward the knife in her pocket, anticipating an argument.

Damn this, Xen was thinking as he executed a perfect backflip and landed on his feet next to Riley. "I wasn't the one who shot him," he muttered miserably.
"I hate this place." Everything was white, with no shadows or hues, just a plain never-ending clean white. White walls rose around him and bright light emanated from above. The only sound was an annoying elevator tune that was occasionally interrupted by screams or hysterical yells. The air conditioning was too high.
"What castle?" Xen asked, looking around at the white walls.

Riley narrowed her eyes and watched Xen, not flinching as he landed beside her. "Yeah, I didn't shoot him either. Your point?" She rolled her eyes. "Of course you hate this place. You're supposed to. It's Hell." She pulled off her black beanie. Her cropped, brown hair fell to her shoulders. "That one." Riley waved one hand toward it, giving Xen an odd look.
[[ Okay, I'm confused. It the whole white thing what Xen sees, or is everyone supposed to see it that way? ]]

((Just what he sees. It's like, Hell for him would be like that, but maybe other people see it differently >.<))
"Nothing," Xen replied grimly. "I just don't see why we all get tossed in here. It's not like I wanted the poor fool to die."
At Riley's motion the white wall before him seemed to open up and Xen could make out the shape of something beyond that, also white.
"Kay. Castle then. Lead the way."

Riley laughed humorlessly. “There’s other reasons you’re here. Like how we were all there, robbing him blind…?” The way she trailed off made it seem like a question. She turned and started down the path, the ground hot against her feet; she could feel it even through her shoes. She looked back only once to make sure the rest of them were following her. “Castle it is.” she muttered.
[[ Mkay cool. Good idea. ]]

"I had a good reason," Xen muttered. But he left it at that and walked in silence, trying to keep himself from thinking of memories.
"That the castle you're talking about?" he asked, pointing at what he saw as double doors at the end of a hall. "Why're we bothering? Don't only the dead end up in Hell?"

Ever said nothing as they walked, her face tense, yet expressionless. She looked as the dark castle, the one that Xen seemed to be pointing to. She nodded, then shrugged. “Well The Voice said we had to escape, and we’re so might as well start at the top. And, c’mon, how hard can it be? We break into, and escape from, tons of places. She pushed open the huge double doors, flinching back as the stone seemed to sizzle against her black gloves. “Let’s get this over with.” She muttered, stepping inside the dark courtyard.

To Xen the courtyard was just another room of pure white, with the exception of a figure in a white lab coat standing at the far end, scrutinising what he saw as test tubes. Xen stuck a hand inside his pocket and figured the tiny blade in there. So. What now? Attack him? Get him to send up back to earth? Where do we go from here?
He looked to Riley for direction and then at the man again, wondering how the day could possibly get more weird.

As they stood in the doorway, a man slid from the shadows. His face was a bit disfigured, his eyes scarlet red. “Ah, so you’ve arrived.” He said, his voice strained as if it took great effort to appear peaceful. “Yeah, we’re here. Now how do we leave?” Riley asked harshly. The man smiled. A malicious-looking gesture. “You must play a game with me.” Ever narrowed her eyes. “What kind of game?” The man’s demonic smile grew wider. “A game that is almost impossible to win.” He replied, his voice and his rigid features seeming more cruel by the second.

Games. Everything's a game isn't it? Xen thought cynically, watching the conversation and keeping his opinions to himself.
When the man didn't continue Xen asked ruefully, "OK. What kind of game? If we've got to play you might as well explain the rules, ya?"

The man turned his cold gaze on Xen. He smiled maniacally. “Alright then. You will all be faced with a series of challenges -tests if you will- that will determine whether or not you are worthy of release.” He stalked toward the group. “And if you prove to be unworthy, you will spend an eternity here, with me.” His cruel smile grew wider. “So who’s ready for your first test?”
Riley turned, surveying the group. Her narrowed eyes reached each person’s face before she turned to face the man once more. “The sooner the better.” She answered emotionlessly.
[[Yeah, we do...]]
