Bio: Legends says that whenever a Kitsune marries a human, that human must never be seen by that particular human, once found out that kitsune must flee from the human. This was not an exception with this one, as the mother abandoned his father for discovering her true nature. Recognize this story? This is the same mother that abandoned Raphael...the twin of Benkei, whom was raised in a different habitat, a different...dimension...
The mother of Raphael and Benkei was wounded during childbirth in the middle of the battlefield, forcing her to give birth via cesarean section. Benkei was later abandoned, like his brother, but he was abandoned in a different world...in this world Benkei was raised in an aristocratic family; who only viewed their child as the sole heir to their dynasty; he was raised in an isolated environment, this worsen when he was four, his family was soon murdered in cold blood. From there, he had to learn how to survive in the harsh world where only the strong survived and the weak died...
Eventually he found the killer of his parents; but when he couldn't kill her, he simply gave up. Strangely enough the killer, who was a woman that went by the name Commander, took him as an adopted son, treating him more of a son than his family would have ever treated him; not only that, she taught him the silent art form of ninjutsu, Onmitsukidō no jutsu, and how to use various of guns.
Three years later, he was taken in by an organization that works under the country; an organization that his mother was working for and soon became their youngest assassin; because of this, no one would expect him to be the murderer. Benkei took on various of assassinations, taking lives of rival businesses and bosses. It soon fell apart when his mother killed the son of the president, who was also the boss of the organization that the two was working for, and defected towards a foreign organization; betraying the country, which led him to battle his mother...he managed to kill his mother; with this he earned the title sōshireikan, also known as Commander-in-Chief.
Later...when he was fourteen, he discovered the truth; she didn't betray the organization, far from it. She was a hero who died for not only for the organization...but for the country. She carried out her mission knowing full well that she would be killed, self-sacrifice; because that was not only her mission, but her duty as her last mission for the country.
In truth, his mother's defection was a ruse set up by not only the organization, but by the country; it was all a big drama stage set up by the country itself, in order for her to get closer to the crime boss and find any intel if the foreign power was going to partner up with another organization to take down their country, and his mother was the star of the show. They planned it so that they can not only obtain all the money from the two, but also their power as well, only a legendary killer and a loyal follower like his mother could have gotten close to someone as equally powerful as their boss himself.
Everything was going all according to plan...but then something had happened that no one could have ever predicted, in one of her missions she accidentally assassinated a powerful aristocratic family in mistake of one of the other three...Benkei's family. The anarchy demanded that they provide proof that the organization weren't involved in any of this. The country couldn't just abort their mission to assassinate the boss, so the operation was greatly revised and expanded. The authorities knew that in order for them to be innocent, they needed to kill her...because the public must never know of it...this, they concluded that it was the best way to keep things in underwraps. His mother wasn't allowed to come back home alive, and because of her honor code she wasn't able to kill herself...her life would be ended by her most beloved disciple...her own son; and the two had no choice but to carry it out...
As he discovers this terrible truth he, in revenge, kills off every single member of the organization, and the president of the country, and fled from the area; making him one of the most wanted man out there, but it didn't matter to him; nothing mattered to him at all, in fact he didn't care where he went or how he got there, all he wanted was to leave the past...and somehow continue on into the future.
Benkei later became a hired gun with his skills, when out came William who gave him a proposition...
Personality: Even with such a horrendous past, he is nothing like his brother, in-fact, Benkei is a very roguish, casual, and carefree person. He's also very cunning that he can cheat without getting noticed, although Williams men catch on. He believes in luck more than ability (Well he has the skill, its just that he loves luck more than skills) , and is carefree about his job, as shown in a few battles when he is sent to kill a target (RP plot), he'd rather go to a Casino and win some 6 digit.
Despite his jovial and carefree attitude, Benkei is very loyal, genuinely kind, caring, calm, and composed in the battlefield, as portrayed in his conversation with his mother that he felt deep guilt for killing her.
Other: He loves milk, and reading. Gambling is another thing he absolutely loves, mastery of blackjack, poker, liar's dice, etc. He speaks with a slight heavy Irish accent whenever he speaks both Japanese and English, and it's somewhat humorous to listen to. His 'mother' full name is Anna Williams; did I mention that he breaks the fourth wall, unconsciously? No? Well now you do.
Benkei's dream is to become a traveling journalist so that he can write all about his adventures with his friends and give others the inspiration the world has given him.
